Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide ) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it?

Crikey, hadn't thought of DGazzie....the return! Maybe I should pop to B&Q after work...you know...just in case I need to build a pigeon loft at the weekend? absolutely didn't price-up a hutch at the pet shop when I went to buy her food

Hmmm Sassycat has never caught anything before (other than flies...which she crunches!) but in revenge at the house arrest she might just find her inner tiger!

Is it wrong that I am sat at my desk wishing I had a pigeon-cam so I could check-in with her?

Ok update...the PP of A is go go go go! Owner is v happy. Have sent him this mornings pics...he says she looks really well looked after...he mentioned that he is racing his birds from Wetherby and has said I need to expect half a dozen of DGazzie's friends to join me soon!

He has crossed his fingers she returns ok...I replied that if the MN Mafia has its way she'll be fine....but now am thinking we need a series of drones to keep an eye out for her / take out any hawks om her last leg!!!

Also...be prepared ....I will need LOTS of handholding and unmumsnetty ((((((hugs)))))) this weekend!!!

So just had this from her owner. This is her usual residence. She's a pigeon of means now...she has her London home and her holiday home with me in the country
