Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide ) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it?

I have a totally irrational fear of pigeons, I'll zigzag the street to try and avoid them and my friend has to relocate her pet pigeon to another room when I visit (he always makes a pigeon-line for me if we do happen to be in the same room).

But this thread has made my day, I hope Gazzie makes it home (either one!) safely.

Am just clinging on to the hope that she's well rested and fed so if she's found a safe place to roost, she'll make it home in the morning...so yes every, here's hoping for tomorrow! My poor DD will be gutted if she doesn't make it

Weather over this end of the country is still nice. Mostly sunny, a bit of a breeze. Hopefully she's just enjoying herself before heading home.

I haven't heard anything from her owner this morn and he promised last night to keep me updated...

So. Lets hope Oubliette has got it right and after almost what, 120 hours forced cat carrier rest, she's enjoying her freedom and getting her bearings and she'll decide to head home today.

Here's a pic from yesterday morn that I didn't share with you...it was just before she got picked up. She'd settled down as she knew something was different as I hadn't fed her, so I took a few moments to wish her well....come on little Gazzie...

So glad I didn't check in yesterday, wouldn't have been able to sleep.

Fingers crossed she turns up, somewhere, soon.

Oh, and can her owner be persuaded to become an MNer, do you think?

I struggled sleeping but made up for it this morn (went to bed about 1am, was checking msgs at 5.55am...back to bed at 6.45am and woke half-an-hour ago )...

...um I doubt it. Owner seems lovely but is older guy and doubt very much MN would be a pull for him but I have him on WhatsApp so if when DGazzie does make it home I'll get him to send a pic
