Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide ) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it?

I would have thought she'd be home by now. Unless she's waiting for a South West train in to Waterloo from New Malden, in which case she's screwed

Owner just msgd to say he is one bird down from today's race back from Newark too....vaguely hoping that DGazzie bumped into the other straggler and they are both on their way west!

Think it was wistful thinking on my part. Opened window and called. It looked at me like ...went out back to check again but no sign in garden...think I am so desperate for good news I am checking out every goddamn pigeon! It's like am inspecting a pigeon identity parade...there are a fair amount of pigeons round here too!

It's ridiculous I know but I feel so responsible for her! At least I know she was well rested and fed before her release so she has a decent chance... Come on little pidge! 🙈🙉🙊
