Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide Grin) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it? Confused

Where's @TheCuntingPigeon when we need her? :o

Oldraver · 10/06/2017 13:17

I have a friend who had a duckling walk into her kitchen..she is now smitten, and was also looking for a bird cam so she could watch while at work.

Dave the Duck has his own FB page now and every thing

Ooooooh! Go, Gazzie, Go! Smile

And now we'll all be like fretting Mums until we get the news of her safe arrival - either in London or back in the SW with Sassy!! GrinWink

SassynSane · 10/06/2017 15:32

That's how I actually feel...like I'm waiting on hearing on DD! I didn't just google pigeon flying speeds to try to work out how long she should take!

Tea drank....now what? Going to try and read for a bit....come on DGazzie! Fly safely Grin

Now I feel nervous too.

We need to get this thread moved from Chat or it will be lost.

It's raining in the North. Is it dry in that London?

OublietteBravo · 10/06/2017 18:48

It's nice and sunny over this end of the country. She's probably sunning herself somewhere.

SoupDragon · 10/06/2017 18:55

Yes, it's a beautiful evening in London. South London anyway.

SassynSane · 10/06/2017 18:59

So for those in the area, New Malden isn't all that far from the Olympic Park area right? So as she took to the skies just before 3pm she should be home by now? Hopefully just enjoying her freedom for a while....🙏

Come on dgazzie, you can do this!

Testarossa1 · 10/06/2017 19:03

Any news?

ErrolTheDragon · 10/06/2017 19:04

My observation of pigeons in my garden suggests she may have stopped off to stuff herself with food, have some water or a bath, or have sex.
