Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

GallbladderFairy · 07/11/2014 03:14

There was a post on our local pages from someone saying they had lost their cat. The very first reply was a pic of a squashed cat onthe road. Then posts saying wtf is that? Insensitive price etc and the photo guy saying sorry it looked like the same colour I wasn't trying to be mean! Shock

Off to read the test of the thread now!

GallbladderFairy · 07/11/2014 03:16

Prick! Not price!

And rest not test!

Zuze23 · 07/11/2014 06:01

I once bought kids shoes off eBay, in picture next to the shoes was hamster eating banana, pity I didn't save that picture

Zuze23 · 07/11/2014 06:04

Someone is also selling baby food pouches (11 of them) for £10?! They cost about £1 each...

VitoCorleone · 07/11/2014 06:40

Gatekeeper · 07/11/2014 06:58

HowsTheSerenity · 07/11/2014 07:31

Gallbladder someone posted on our local page 'Found. One ginger cat. Flat in appearance. Local pub car park. Is there a reward for finding?'

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 07/11/2014 09:08

For those who don't know how to get pics from FB onto here.

Hover over the pic. Right click and then choose "save image as" which will open a new window. On the left is a column, choose "Desktop" and in the bottom right corner of your screen click "save".

Then when you open a convo on here, click below the dialogue box in "Choose File" and you can open up your Desktop, find the image, double click it and bingo.

Can't help mobile users though! Grin

For those who don't know how to get pics from FB onto here.

A faster, easier version:

Hover over the pic. Right click and then choose "copy image URL".

Then when you open a convo on here, click below the dialogue box in "Choose File" paste the link on File name, and that's it.

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 07/11/2014 11:09

Ooh thanks Lweji I'm going to try that right now! I will just find some glittery shit to share!

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 07/11/2014 11:13

I just tried to do it and it said it wasn't a file type allowed for photo 1 Confused what did i do wrong?

Lweji · 07/11/2014 11:26

Maybe it depends on the system? Mine is Windows 8.1.

The URL should end in an image file name anyway, such as jpg.
And it has to be the image URL, not the link address

Charstar7889 · 07/11/2014 11:39

12 quid for this 'hamper'?? Hmm And about 6 people wanting it so far... Am I missing something? Maybe I should buy some crappy baskets and Frozen rubbish from the 99p store and start making these... Also what is the white thing- Is it a tea towel?

These are fabulous - I particularly love the collection of manky soaps, minus the pubes of course.

Nothing that exciting on my local one, but the site description says "there is only 4 rules in this group. Dont sware or get narsty or affencive and dont timewaste".

mummypolf · 07/11/2014 11:53
