Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

TheJiminyConjecture · 05/11/2014 14:18

I like the fact that there's a pound shop bag in the background of the photo of the 'have a wash it's Christmas' hamper. Just in case you miss out on that one and need to make your own!

MagratsHair · 05/11/2014 14:20

ROAR at the 'have a wash it's Christmas' hamper Grin Grin Jiminey

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 05/11/2014 14:45

EauPea · 05/11/2014 14:46

"hi dose anyone have any rc stuff and cold deliver cash waiting"

EauPea · 05/11/2014 14:52

Gah - how annoying, the worst I've got on our local one is someone asking if anyone's selling any ear defenders suitable for a boy. There is the occasional txt spk but that's about it - GIVE ME SOMETHING TO JUDGE DAMN YOU!

Ironically, as a result of scouring the group for the purposes of this thread I've just found and bought a £50 pair of geox shoes for a fiver for DD :)

CoolCat2014 · 05/11/2014 15:40

Bunfights over who is or isn't to be trusted:

"It's not humiliating when they lie to people they must be desperate end of if u don't like wat I rote that's fine I gave her the chance to rite bk and apologise I normaly pick up and check couldn't today tho Neva said it wasn't my fault for not checking"

My brain hurts.

SicilianOlives · 05/11/2014 16:05

Katieemmasmith · 05/11/2014 17:02

I love this comment, I was shopping with my 3 year old niece recently and she saw the j20 glittery drink and asked if it would make her poo glittery, then declared rather loudly she would love sparkly poos!!! ??

EauPea · 05/11/2014 17:04

I think we might need our OWN FB selling page.

BonjourMinou · 05/11/2014 18:23

LOVE it. He missed the glitter opportunity though. He can bling it up for Christmas if people missed out on the amazing Halloween deal...

For all you budding mass murderers out there:

"Blender for sale great for people with kids 25ono"

I've never tried to blend a child - I reckon it wouldn't be easy and you'd have to chop them up hellova small.....

OohOod · 05/11/2014 18:51

Did he have any comments?

tutu100 · 05/11/2014 18:53

I actually like the blinged up lanyard! I think rc might be remote controlled. We have some awful folded flannel things on our site, but I can't work out how to post them.

BlueberryWafer · 05/11/2014 19:04

WestmorlandSausage & itiswhatitis your selling sites sound very familiar... Wink

BlueberryWafer · 05/11/2014 19:18

Latest post on our selling site: seeking someone with a driveway directly opposite the castle so I can park my car I can't be arsed to walk and wanna watch the fireworks.

Hmm

Love this thread!

I remember reading one of someone selling a 'chester draws'. To which somebody responded 'are they genuine chester?' GrinGrinGrin
