Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

Someone asked on my local site where to by frozen stuff. I commented Aliexpress , next poster was furious as she wanted to sell frozen " hampers" for £20 and how dare I have commented if I wasn't interested in buying. Err I was answering the first persons question, and anyway her hampers were much cheaper Grin

SoonToBeSix · 05/11/2014 23:24

They weren't better value at all £20 for some poundland bits.

alltoomuchrightnow · 06/11/2014 00:06

Why would you buy these toiletries for £1 each when could buy shiny brand new and hopefully in date ones, from 99p Shop? Also so many people selling used ones and used perfumes... e.g. 'everything shown on my dressing table top, hun'

Randy, I wonder if you've found the seller of the Frozen party stuff you posted about 400 posts ago...?

lemontwist those picture frames are shite! I can't believe how deluded some people must be if they think what they are making is of a sale-able value

CrumpleHornedSnorkack · 06/11/2014 10:26

Those pesky hovers and their 40 a day habit.

Never worn...apart from when taking this photo. Obviously!

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 06/11/2014 10:41

God. That glass looks grubby! People don't even bother to wipe the things or photo them in a good light!

Galena · 06/11/2014 12:57

I've been watching a show called 'Crafty Beggars' on TLC... Basically they take 2 pairs of people who have a £20 budget and 24 hours to produce stuff to sell - they've had things like bottle top jewellery, melted vinyl records to make bowls, etc. I find myself watching them and wondering when they will appear on the selling sites and on this thread!

usernameiwanted · 06/11/2014 14:50

I've actually just finished doing a clear out and sold quite a bit of stuff on a local for sale site. It was just normal stuff that was stuck at the back of cupboards and hadn't seen the light of day for months so stuff like clothes and shoes, guitar, old xbox, shabby shit ornaments, an old ps vita etc. I still have a few things left to go but I estimate I made just under £1000 so there is some good in these sites! You just need to wade through the junk!

tabulahrasa · 06/11/2014 14:59

There's one near me that does glittery things - with persanal messages...I don't know what sort of message qualifies as persanal, but I'm pretty sure I don't want it.

MarthaCostello · 06/11/2014 15:04

Restored bottle anyone? Confused

Stupid Facebook selling.
Toastiefeet · 06/11/2014 16:54

Whitershadeofpale · 06/11/2014 17:21

£15 for random bits of track.

Stupid Facebook selling.
ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 06/11/2014 17:25

I don't think that's unusual pale as in the price...it's not random either....but fits with a specific train.

IgnoreMeEveryOtherFuckerDoes · 06/11/2014 17:33

Mine today is selling a fire hazard for bargain of £5

Plug missing and the white plastic has melted slightly (assume where bulb goes) but all ok.

IgnoreMeEveryOtherFuckerDoes · 06/11/2014 17:35

I'm quite impressed with the restored bottles and xmas glitter glasses certainly upgrade on the glitter crap on my local pages

Whitershadeofpale · 06/11/2014 18:21

Sorry claw I knew really it was a crap addition to the thread.

Mine is too good really, that's the worst on there. I think I need to move Sad

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 06/11/2014 18:23

You're obviously in a naice area. Look up the selling pages in...ahem less salubrious areas. Grin

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 06/11/2014 18:23

Ignore me too! Well the bottles anyway! I quite like them in a naff way!

PitchSlapped · 06/11/2014 18:29

Someone just posted on my local one asking if anyone is selling volies, whatever that is!

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 06/11/2014 18:52

Do you think they meant Voile curtains? Grin

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 06/11/2014 23:36

Ahahahahaha!

Someone has liked a post from a Fb page solely dedicated to glittery shit!

I win!
