just thought - I can bring the beaver colony I help run am on good terms with the cub and scout leaders too so we could have this as our joint camp also very good friends with brown owl - she and tawny owl are hardened party animals and can provide 24 brownies

I did a first aid course a couple of years ago. I can't remember most of it.

I love being able to post beaver photos on Facebook our little angels are probably muckier than real beavers.

we could have a guiding/scouting jamboree in UW garden as a sideshoot of the main event. sure she wouldn't mind supervising whilst all the leaders get stuck into the beer tent...

Ive just thought of something I can do beside offering perpetual advice!

I can do the catering! I sell cheese and pies for a living. They go down a storm at festivals! There's nothing better than a pork pie when you're pissed!
Also DS is a scout leader. He can bring Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. Combine those with all of the other Brownies, Guides, beavers etc, we could make it a proper Jamboree! They could have "FuckYouFest" woggles and patch badges made! There'd be a great market for hoodies and stuff!

I have had an evil thought. Did you know that horses are afraid of pigs? I think it would be cruel to the horses to just move some in, but you could maybe email the horse "owners" and tell them that you will be sectioning off an area of the field including the field shelter on 1st March to house a few pigs?

Actually, as a horse owner... what would worry the wotsit out of me would be an announcement that the owner planned to rescue some ponies from market and put them in the field. You could announce that in a sort of "we've had a brilliant idea!" way. How many acres is the field? Tell them you've been told you could put on 3 ponies per acre...
