I've been lurking but at the risk of missing bits (instead of re-reading lots of posts) but have de-lurked and I need to mark my place. How do i do this please? I am relatively new to mn and haven't got the hang of some of the bits.

FWIW I think the OP should be canonised for not maiming the piss-taking witch. Wine for OP

Another delurker. I can offer a ten year old with a trombone, who can bring a brass band worth of friends along:o

Keep strong, drink coffee and envision that meadow:)

A brass band, a jazz band, mods and metal, ballerinas, poi, unicycle, face painting, two bag pipes, numerous animals and dcs...

I'm spoiled!

I am here as your personal cheerleading squad for the moment your land becomes free of horses and entitled horsey people.

If nothing else, I hope these threads have cheered you up and bolstered your resolve.

My ExH plays a banjo.

(He reckons that he is the new Tim Dowling)

My daughter is an operatic soprano - you want her to come and sing to the horses? might clear them off quickly...

I can bring a pipe band and as many rowdy children as you want. I work in a massive school.

I have no festival skills whatsoever but I do have a tent and a fondness for dancing outside. Can I come?

I did the promo Tshirts for the last beer festival I was involved in.

Happy to design and print some "Fuckyoustock Festival" T Shirts. Was thinking of a massive pair of horse bollocks superimposed onto a Biscuit :o

Oh. Oh, why did you not call the thread "I've found Shergar and he needs a new home" Grin

Envy I don't know, I go to work for a few hours, come back and you have all moved on me. It's because I mentioned my elderly horse isn't it? Well I think that is just mean and I'm going to start a Facebook page to bemoan my fate, which will be a valuable lesson to you all.

not really, this is an elaborate ruse to mark my place and I am all caught up in the drama

Delurking - I need a holiday and a MN festival would be lovely. I have 3 active, noisy DCs (and they are homeschooled so they are available on weekdays!)

Spotty Grin that's what my other hand will be doing... I understand this may cause me to crash, but it will be worth it.

Ooh I can't wait to hear the outcome of this, it's going to be a classic. That's a point, has anyone nominated these threads for classics yet?!

I will offer my Rainbow pack to assist in any Festival. They are loud, hysterical and some of them are still prone to heel drumming tantrums. I'm sure they would make Crazy Lady run for the hills - they drive me to drink every week Grin

Sparkling it'll probably end up being very boring and them moving on without a fuss. It's got ages to run! You'll all be bored in five minutes. I know the mn attention span Wink

Nigel, welcome aboard. Are the up to the task? Could you drill them in tantruming in preparation?
