Would just like to say a massive well done for how you and your DH have handled this. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that they keep their word and get a move on with rehoming the horses.

Catching up, but while I do I need to go "ooooh ooooh oooh" - I've got a friend who has a marquee and temporary staging which he hires out for festivals. His stuff would be perfect for this. I'll have a word and make sure he does it for free for FuckYouFest. He'll only want the opportuitdy to wander about with free beer and talk to intelligent people. He's a lovely bloke (and if he goes, then dh is far more likely to bring his band too).

We have lutes too! I had completely forgotten about them. Also a whole big box of various percussion instruments.

DH's drummer takes old knackered cars and sorts them, so if you do find a Morris Minor he could get it running when he's not drumming at the Fest.

The friend with the marquee runs a TV studio and films lots of mini-festivals round here. He won't mind setting up a few cameras and some sound stuff. The drummer also has a recording studio so when he's not fixing the Morris or drumming he could do some recording too. The bass player's a kind of janitor too so he could clean the loos......

Wing, I'll add my extras to your list but can't c&p on this silly device, so will have to do it later when I get to the pc.
