I'm just awaiting the first "you're outrageous snobs" comment from disgustedof..?

oliveoil · 30/03/2006 13:06

Wasn't there a security guard at the gates? I despair of this country sometimes.

MissChief · 30/03/2006 13:06

sorry, obviously that should have been
"your"
Grin

oliveoil · 30/03/2006 13:07

No it would be your, they have no edukashun.

oliveoil · 30/03/2006 13:07

you're

ahem

tamum · 30/03/2006 13:08

Please, not nhsdirect, it will take too long. Straight to A and E. Really. He may need shots.

littlemissbossy · 30/03/2006 13:09

why don't you have him adopted?

zippitippitoes · 30/03/2006 13:09

he'll need counselling that's for sure

Rojak · 30/03/2006 13:09

I think you'd need to consider moving to another area if "these types" hang out at your local public park

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2006 13:10

Are yu sure he was working class? It may not be as bad as you think, he might just be a bit grubby.

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2006 13:11

But if he definitely was you need to get off mumsnet and go straight to A&E.

tamum · 30/03/2006 13:11

If the adoption idea doesn't work (excellent thought though, lmb) perhaps there's some kind of quarantine kennels you could try?

CountessDracula · 30/03/2006 13:11

you're akshully

has this thing kicked off yet?

CountessDracula · 30/03/2006 13:12

Also some very posh people have scruffy kids

MissChief · 30/03/2006 13:12

you could also consider moving to a gated community to avoid such contact in future?

jmum6 · 30/03/2006 13:17

ff just armour your son with antibac gel and wipes to use immediately if such an accident should happen in the future.

Honestly women - did you not prepare your son in advance for such an oocurance?

:o

MissChief · 30/03/2006 13:17

hmph (just to point out I have edukashun and never ever confuse your/you're unless in typo land! Admit that it was a rather feeble joke though Grin and rather unpc as it indicated that working class =uneducated.. )

mumfor1standfinaltime · 30/03/2006 13:18

Are you sure he was infact 'working class' or was he from a 'dole scrounging' parents? Their is a great deal of difference you know.

MissChief · 30/03/2006 13:19

God, I used to be a proper Guardian reader too...

oliveoil · 30/03/2006 13:20

but they can also be identical

This will definitely kick off.

Orlando · 30/03/2006 13:20

How very sweet and open-minded of him

You must be so proud.

fairyfly · 30/03/2006 13:21

Just had a home visit from the doctor, gave him a tetanus.

My therapist is here and showing him a set of flash cards to see which he responds to the most.Such as

Just need rentokil in now to fumigate the house and we hope to god it never happens again. My husband is flying home.

You might need to notify your gp - just in case!

mumfor1standfinaltime · 30/03/2006 13:23

So hate the label of working class.
To me this means 'someone who works their ass off for a living' and I have a great deal of respect for.
My dad is working class, he has worked since he was 15 and has never claimed dole/benefits. He has just been made redundant at age 58 and cant claim a single penny. I find it insulting. I know this is the reaction which is wanted, but had to vent.
