Oh Wiggins, oh Bradley
I love you quite madley
You look tres sexee
In the yellow jersey
Vous etes tres bon
Avant le peloton
With your mates Cav and Froome
To Paris you'll zoom
Do your side burns help you steer?
When you win I will shed a tear.

frosty - you deserve a medal.Grin

evilgiraffe · 29/07/2012 12:23

I know, frosty, I just want to hug them all and tell them it's okay. Women's race is going alright so far, looks a bit puncturey though.

scotlass · 29/07/2012 13:56

Well said evil.

They gave it their all, the nation can't ask for any more than that. Still world champion and tour winner, runner up. That's racing doesn't always follow the plan.

Go Lizzie, she's looking good. Come on the girls.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 29/07/2012 14:47

Come on Team GB ladies. Doing really well girls!!!!!!!! V exciting race so far.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 29/07/2012 14:50

I've just hello to Bradley - I didn't know if to say congratulations or commiserations. I went with congrats

NarkedRaspberry · 29/07/2012 15:07

He won the Tour, I think congratulations are in order. I don't think you can go wrong with 'nice sideburns' Grin.

Envy bulletproof...I'd have gone with congratulations too...if I'd have been able to string a sentence together in the presence of his greatness!!

ThePan · 29/07/2012 15:24

Gold or silver for GB! Go girl!!

ThePan · 29/07/2012 15:26

Will Lizzie step up the speed and try to wear out the sprinters legs?

Thistledew · 29/07/2012 15:43

Wow. What a great race. Lizzie Armistead rode so well, and Marianne Vos was pure class.

ThePan · 29/07/2012 15:44

I had taken my daughter swimming - Was sheletering under a bridge thing and could see home coming towards me (just him). Wasn't sure but the cycling outfit, jaded expression and sideburns were the give away. I flustered in the presence of greatness.

Was thinking of quipping - cycling, on a a day like today - you must take it seriously

My moment passed and I chickened.

The GB cycling team are using the place as their base. I should go and lurk some more.
