Oh Crunchy- you will be missed Sad

I hope they gave you a chocolate hobnob before you were despatched...

I have the deepest respect for SGB's collection.

I am also intrigued by the idea of SGB clones. That's a hell of a twist on the whole mundane heterosexual monogamy issue.

BitOfFun · 10/08/2010 11:17

Olivia is going to come back and tell us that Crunchy has gone to live on a farm where she'll have all the biscuits she can eat and get lots of exercise, isn't she?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 10/08/2010 11:19

It's time to say the Mumset prayer people,

Our Mumsnet
Who art a Forum,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy school run,
Must be done.
On weekdays if not at weekends.
Give us this day, our daily Greggs
And forgive me if AIBU,
As I forgive when YABU.
Lead us not into Tesco,
But deliver us Ocado.
For Thine is the Chat, the Style and the Beauty.
Forever and ever.

Val - where can I purchase one of those Kath Kidston Duck Covers you mentioned earlier? My duck is just a dull brown and it'd be ace if she blended with my Boden hotch-potch.

RIP Crunch.
You were as real to me as my pink unicorn.....

Bless her - at least she's where she wanted to be, - with Shergar.

Honeydragon · 10/08/2010 11:33

Can I have a tinfoil fascinator for dd please?

Because my giggling concern for BTCD and SGB woke her up - she stayed awake till 2.30am convinced it was time to be up! Clearly they were trying to get to me through her with sleep depravation.

I think I may have seen Cruncy done our chip shop - she swore she was.

BitOfFun · 10/08/2010 11:38

For Honeydragon. Don't tell anybody else though- I'm not sure they're standard issue.

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 11:39

honeydragon, ca you get my dd one as well - very much the same scenario and dd and I went to bed at 3am.
I blame all that laughing wire cutting business - Morrisons or Sainsburys etc. Talking of which, isn't Crunchy working in Sainsbury's in Manchester?

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 11:40

pmsl BoF - what about the whole outfit for the grown-ups Grin

Valpollicella · 10/08/2010 11:45

Anyone got a Makro card? We could bulk buy some foil in preparation for the second attempt at breaking the Private Troll Topic enigma

KurriKurri · 10/08/2010 11:47

I'll need a couple of hundred metres of it, if I'm going to make that bikini.

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 11:55

cor - impressive! Do we all get one?
And if we do, is it gonna be the Brazilian vs Hollywood waxing thread all over again Shock

We'll need bikinis if we're going to the Topic of Private Troll - is it somewhere between the Equator and Topic of Capricorn? Grin

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 11:57

found this to help with our geography

thumbwitch · 10/08/2010 11:58

B&TCD - inspired prayer!

Should we have a ceremonial Crunchie-eating day in respect of Crunchy's passing?

The whole tinfoil outfit is getting a bit Barbarella, isn't it..

Honeydragon · 10/08/2010 11:59

I've got a costco card, but I don't think I can make it to the tinfoil without help .....they put it behind the bakery. I'll have to send chore dodger, she's the onnly person i know who can get past the cake.

Personally I don't do Hollwood or Brazilian, mine is more of a Torquay, still ok to visit in the summer but more scruffy around the edges, but easier to get to and a lot cheaper. Smile

KurriKurri · 10/08/2010 12:03

Those boots are a must have Thumbwitch,

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 12:05

omg Honey, I'm lmao and my ribs are still killing me from last night.

That Crunchie eating day is inspired - a fitting memorial. But I can't wait til Friday.

BitOfFun · 10/08/2010 12:05

Still more appealing than a Whitby- damp, occasionally windy and smells of fish.

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 12:06

we'll need the Extra Stiff Foil to make that lot

gigglewitch · 10/08/2010 12:07

BoF -
I am crying laughing and it's not even midnight, and I haven't been at the wine Biscuit

KurriKurri · 10/08/2010 12:10

Giggle - if you are handy with the glue, start running up those outfits. I am curvy of figure, and require a gusset.
