Any regrets Shabs?

Biggest regret is not meeting the ginger pig when I was older. Met him at High school when we were about 12/13 - started going to watch Man City together and to the pictures most weekends. We went out together for the next 5 years. Too young to fall in love. Would love to see him again, but would also hate to see him again. Too much time has passed and too many lifechanging events have happened. I loved him like I have never loved a lad before or since. I suppose 'life' just got in the way. By the christ I sound like Shirley Valentine. I have never had love from another man (lad) like I had from him. Only my Dad has ever loved me more.

oooooo still here.................sad Shabs......the man in my life will always be my Dad, no-one will ever be as lovely to me, miss him so much. I had a few fellas in my time, there is one who will always remain in my heart, but also with bitter memories, left him whilst still loving him....often think of him and wonder where he is and what happened to him.We wouldn`t have survived.

Just had a lovely visit from Lyndsey and Auntie Cath - our Faliraki friends - Massive family from Preston, Lancashire who we meet many years ago on holiday. We have been on several holidays together since then. They are full of laughter and fun - especially Auntie Cath who is 67. We all sat here talking about drunken nights in Faliraki!!!

Hi all, absolutely knackered after trying to make up work hours lost looking after Jimbob at the start of the week, he is now back at school with his teacher and classroom assistant clucking over him like mother hens!Hmm
The boys birthday in 2 weeks time, their best friend and his twin sister are also 11 3 days after, so their mum and I are joining forces this year as money is a bit tight. Party for 20 now being organisedConfused

Shabs :) is that what I sounded like? Please would you tell Mr and Mrs Tilsley that HRH Trips send her utmost apologies for offending them with her bad language.........................bloody ecky thump.:o

OP posts:
shabbapinkfrog · 17/11/2011 21:48

No you didn't sound like that....not at all. You sounded like I sometimes feel and I only have one teenager. I cannot imagine how you cope. You just make me pee laughing when you swear - you are so posh. My Mum just rang and said 'How is your lovely friend?' She screamed with laughter and it brightened her day.

My Dad is so funny....in his best Bolton/Lancashire accent he said...'Does your friend know what Ecky Thump means? He sounded just like Peter Kay. I said 'Do you know what it means Dad' 'Not really love I know its just something you say when you are aggrivated or fed up....as in...'Eeeee Ecky Thump!!'

You do a great job my owd mucker....a really great job but I know and understand your frustrations with everyday life. xxxx

triplets · 17/11/2011 21:58

See I knew you would understand:)
Please tell Dad that Trips has just googled ecky thump......................it apparently is an ancient term from Lancashire and Yorkshire, ecky thump is a form of marshall art involving the throwing of black pudding sausage :o
eee by gum!:)

Promise. Have missed my dear, dear friends this year Trips....have sulked most of the year away. They get me IYKWIM...they just get me...I dont have to dress up, put make up on or show off to them. They just get me. I feel like I have known them well all my life. I would so love to introduce you to them properly and for us to sit and talk. To show our pictures to them. To tell them about our lives. One day my dear buddy...one day. xxx
