Oh spit is fine Trips - so is snot - in fact Lew said to me today...'Andma I have got a special present for you!!' Me, being all trusting said 'Awww thank you darling what is it....'It's a dried up bogey I just found up me nose.' 'Thanks love I will treasure that.' 'You are weird Andma!!'

bubby64 · 08/12/2011 23:59

Shabs- I'll always remember when mike was about 3 and said he had something for my mum, she trustfully put out her hand, and he carefully wiped a bogey on it, the look on her face will stay with me forever!!Xmas Grin.

bubby64 · 09/12/2011 00:11

Ruby- yes, they get hyped up, but I also think we have a dose of pre- adolescent angst to cope with Hmm. Glad your mum is ok.
Trips - typical boy, wanting a few hours off school! when mine tried that, i said if they were too ill for school, they were too ill for x box, and they should be in bed! Horrid, hard hearted mum that i am! I've got some camp coffee essence and walnuts, you are welcome to them. To be honest, I'm a bit b'day caked out, having made 4 over the past week!

ha ha ha ha ha neither Rubester....I got an early morning visit from Dan and Lew....then the grumpiest teenager in the world got up. Came down and asked Dan would he drop him off at school (because it is on his way to nursery). Dan said 'No mate, the traffic is bad!!' Tom had the finest argument with his big bro then stomped out of the door.

My nephew (Grace's Daddy) just messaged me. They have rushed his wife in to our local hospital. She is only 32 weeks pregnant with their little boy but her contractions have started. He sounds lost, worried and very young. Hopefully they will sort her out. Was going to Chelles but might nip up to the hospital first - its only 10 minutes walk from our house.

Got your card Trips - its great and thanks for my pressie Grin xx

shabbapinkfrog · 09/12/2011 18:50

Becky just texted me. She said she fainted in Asda and they rushed her to the hospital. Said the contractions were calming down a little and she has to wait for the Doctor to check baby is OK. Think this is going to be a long 8 weeks for them xx

Evening girls...............struggled to put up the tree, I insist on a real one every year, drives H nuts me choosing it, needles everywhere already. I have a dilemma. My brother has invited us to him again for X dinner, it should be my turn here, but his mil is newly diagnosed with cancer and has just started chemo, she is 77. It is their first Xmas with her as she always goes away. There will already be 10 of them without us 5, its a real squash as my three take up more room now. They want us to go because they like having the kids around and because we liven things up(believe it or not). Its hard work cooking for 15 and to be honest I always seem to end up washing up, plus I do the starter and pud. I feel so tired and just want a change. I have suggested staying here and picking at prawns, pate, cheese and fizz........just bliss, bloody bliss. Dh says thats ok for a starter!! I mean it, no stress, I just feel I am up to my ears in it. Boys want to stay here, Becca wants a party and Dh wants his turkey.........................Xmas Confused
