That’s narcissism for you @Spongebobette !

Sugarplum48 · 02/11/2024 22:32

As her husband ots incredibly concerning that you simply sit back and just let it go on and on. Her entire social media/life/woo magic/fake bought flip chart book sales are all bought by her overdraft. MR YAWN GET A FUCKING BACKBONE DEAR. ITS EXCRUCIATING TO WATCH NOW!!!

TwinklyMoose · 02/11/2024 23:53

So can I just get this clear. Yawn has written a diary. That is obviously empty. People have to pay for it and it has a bit of manifesting writing throughout hence her author tag. Wow.

BSintolerant · 03/11/2024 00:59

She could’ve saved herself a pocket of time, a crannie or two, or even a wizard’s sleeve by publishing “Guru Yawn’s Words of Wisdom and Precious Little Teachings.” Anyone brave or foolish enough to buy her magnum opus (all six and a half pages of it) will be thrilled when they realise all of the pages are blank, including the index and title page.

AbbeyGrange · 03/11/2024 06:55

It seems Yawn will do anything not to get a job....she is desperate..

OhMyGiddyAunt · 03/11/2024 07:49

Anyone else spot that when she's talking outside the cafe she says "we've' got to number fucking 1..." and then "our manifesting journal...".

I think she realises her slip up and tries to correct it.

Clearly not all her own work then

If you look at the people she thanks on one of her posts, one of them specializes in bespoke journals/planners/notebooks to boost your business. Just saying.

So Yawn probably didn't have input then other than providing photos of herself to go in it. 🙄

Talking of photos, I see she's looking forward to her third photo shoot with her rebranding photographer

Spongebobette · 03/11/2024 08:58

I hope Mr Yawn is keeping track of business expenditure on a spreadsheet

SnoogyWoo · 03/11/2024 10:14

She only has to sell about 23000 of these to pay off her directors loan, easy.

He's basically scared of her, so he won't care about the money as long as the overgrown toddler living with him his gets her own way, he's admitted that if she's happy then he's happy which translates to "I'll let her do anything to keep the peace so I don't bare the brunt of her rage" what an awful way for a grown man to live.

Sugarplum48 · 03/11/2024 10:49

Mr yawn has always cowtowed to her. He is so controlled by her it's painful to watch. When she ponged around in our circle she was as mean spirited to him as she was to us as "friends". She screamed jump and he'd go fetch the tape measure.

YouOKHun · 03/11/2024 11:20

@AbbeyGrange I agree. I think he is aware of the situation they're in but she is so delicate and on a hair trigger that he just has to facilitate whatever she wants or risk a massive meltdown. I don't know whether he is daft enough to think she can turn it around and get back to how things were in 2015.

I'm not sure what her priority is either but not losing her audience and the daily affirmation of fawning downlines/coachees could be almost more important than money.

I wonder if they are hanging on to be rescued financially (an inheritance or something like that). They give the impression they are living day to day and fiddling while Rome burns. I'm not sure if they are in complete denial or have/will have some sort of financial assistance.

I would be delighted if Mr Yawn walked out, and met a lovely new partner who is a bit plump, doesn’t like exercise and is just really nice and kind.

Sugarplum48 · 03/11/2024 16:01

He deserves a better life than the miserable existence he lives.

LeoDiCapricorn · 03/11/2024 16:57

Is there a type of person who enjoys being belittled and humiliated in a relationship?

Not for me.... but they're not spoiling another couple as my nana would say

Sugarplum48 · 03/11/2024 17:15

Maybe he feels trapped by the financial implications of leaving her..that mindset of its easier to stay than deal with the fall out. Imagine how much meaner she would be if he left her. He hasn't got it in him anyway. He's what my father used to call a weak man.

If they did split up I can't imagine her giving him a moments peace until the day he dies, she would never let him go quietly...

hurlyburlywhirly · 03/11/2024 18:21

She'd have to let him go. They can get divorced, split any assets (ha!) and get on with it. The kids are grown up so she can't blackmail him with custody wrangles.

I expect he's mainly stuck because of the debt and not really fancying half of that. She's probably telling him she has a plan and he probably doesn't, so he's there for the foreseeable until she either makes her authoring fortune or robs a bank.

I love the rebranding. It's such a 90s boss babe vibe. Don't we all hang out in forests wearing blazers and transacting business on our Nokia 6610s?

OhMyGiddyAunt · 03/11/2024 19:26

So whose debt is it?
In the FL Top 10s they're always listed as Yawn and Mr Yawn.

If it's in both their names does that mean they're better staying put in the manky thatch whilst it disintegrates around them? If they were to split up and sell the house would they both be left skint?

AbbeyGrange · 03/11/2024 19:29

Yes legally she would but I can imagine her bad mouthing him on SM at every opportunity...she wouldn't let him have peace.

BSintolerant · 03/11/2024 20:03

@OhMyGiddyAunt it’s the company’s debt.

PieonaBarm · 03/11/2024 21:42

Ah our erstwhile top selling author can now "bloody teach you" how to set up a business from scratch as in her 15 years in Network Marketing "they did everything for you" and within a month of setting up the regurgitated shit that is Unlucky Girl she is able to coach you how to set up your own business from scratch as her mate has shown her how at the kitchen table business hub.

What would we do without her.

YouOKHun · 03/11/2024 21:59

She says she has 'set up lots of systems' within the Lucky Girl Club and the other day she was 'consulting a lawyer'. The lawyer in question seems to be much more of a coach than a lawyer and can't be much cop if she hasn't told Yawn to deal with the boring basics and make GDPR and professional indemnity insurance a top priority.

At the moment Yawn is in breach as far as the ICO is concerned which could mean a hefty fine for her. I wonder if Yawn realises that she can't manifest her way out of the rules. They apply to her too. And they could very well apply to the people she is planning to teach how to set up a business, so it would be nice if she knew what she was doing before she shares her "expertise".

A question. Is the word ‘hun’ a code word for mlm’s?
My local area facebook group seems to have a lot of young women who use ‘huns’ in their posts. Tbh, I don’t think any of them live locally. I’m wondering if our local fb page has been infiltrated by bots. There seems to be a lot of ‘rising stars’ who nobody has ever heard of.
