**@stillherenow* A*s? That's the one I've just ballsed up. I'm on production for one sector I passed a few weeks ago, but I've managed to fail the last two quizs somehow and am seriously doubting myself right now as this stuff isn't difficult!
I've just joined your club. I just royally ballsed it up too Sad

@TheFoldOx Prolific has a waiting list? Wow, things change huh.

Redcrayons · 14/04/2022 20:41

@Dogmum20 it took about 2 weeks for Rev to approve my application. It’s a slow burn and depends on you being available to work US hours at first. I’ve just moved up a level so now see a lot more work. I could easily cover £10 per day.

Appen is a bit hit and miss for me.

Most of the tasks here are micro tasks, you’ll struggle to make £600 quickly starting from scratch. Most people have a mix of things they do.

Try some of the survey apps. I made £40 on Qmee last month without much effort. Not going make me rich, but every bit helps.

As someone else mentioned matched betting is a good way to make some quick money but you really need to do your research so you don’t lose money. I don’t think it’s sustainable long term but for a quick hit it’s ok.

Dogmum20 · 14/04/2022 21:37

@PoseyFlump and @Redcrayons thanks Re matched betting, I did start learning about that this week, it was always a last resort for me as I thought it was gambling!

I signed up to Rev over two weeks ago now so fingers crossed I hear soon!

Qmee I tried to sign up to but it kept saying ‘sorry you must be in the US, UK, somewhere else… to sign up’ but I hadn’t been asked to put in my location so no idea why it doesn’t think I’m in the UK 🤷‍♀️? So I gave up with that.

Hopefully I’ll get onto some of the Appen projects, I’m just bored of waiting around. I may sign up to more survey sites but the ones I’m on at the mo I never get accepted onto the survey, I’m never the desired criteria 🤦‍♀️!

YonderTweek · 14/04/2022 22:11

I messed up At**s too! I did a bit on one task and thought it was ok but completely fucked up the two quizzes. I knew what to do but the multiple choices were really unclear. I always tell myself that if I struggle with the qualification quiz I would probably struggle with the project itself too, so it's not such a great loss if I fail. Grin

PoseyFlump · 14/04/2022 22:21

@Dogmum20 I know what you mean about matched betting, it freaked me out at first. It's actually better if you're sort of anti gambling because you're more likely to do it properly Smile Now I can do it while also holding a conversation at the same time. Definitely watch YouTube videos by profit accumulator or odds monkey so you fully understand the concept. It clicked in my mind to see the two bets like old fashioned weighing scales, cancelling each other out.

Most people make about £1k the first few months with all the big sign up offers. I don't put too much effort in and make at least £100 a month without sign ups. Just shout if you need help. And don't see it as gambling. Think of it as Robin Hood

deflatedbirthday · 15/04/2022 22:26

Hi all

I'm looking for some information on Axie Infinity.

My DH and I are looking at dabbling but would love to hear from people who are using/ playing it already.

How much was your initial investment?

How much time daily do you spend and for what return?

How easy is the withdrawal to GBP?

We'd be super grateful for any experiences!

peabrainer · 16/04/2022 10:14

Anyone else finding the Shoshone/Amur availability survey isn't working properly?

AnotherOne4 · 16/04/2022 10:58

@peabrainer

Anyone else finding the Shoshone/Amur availability survey isn't working properly?
Yes. They keep sending me the emails, and I've given up trying now.

Not sure they realise it isn't working. They're probably wondering why no-one is applying lol

Redcrayons · 16/04/2022 11:57

I got an Amur link this morning that worked for me.

DeegeeDee · 17/04/2022 20:17

Potato peeler question.

Are we paid by the item or hour. If the former, do you count/tag?

Did I read right, we can have two queues open in different tabs?

stillherenow · 17/04/2022 20:25

Is the two tabs idea for when the fetching is slow ?

Redcrayons · 17/04/2022 20:42

You’re paid by item. I keep a daily tally but you can also see how much you have done on the dashboard. There are shifts available. The NM shifts are for when the content numbers are pretty big, and paid £2 flat rate plus PPI. Bespoke are hourly rate and you have to be invited into them.

You can have two tabs open at the same time, but not more than that. Fetching means there’s low amount of content so having 2 tabs open doesn’t really make a difference. I usually have one for each queue. Submit on one tab, then switch to the other one. They recommend it to speed you up a bit.

DeegeeDee · 17/04/2022 21:06

Thanks Red, this all makes sense now.

My dashboard isn't working as doesn't recognise my phone number still so doing it manually myself.

Will try fetching tomorrow if still quiet.

8dpwoah · 19/04/2022 17:14

This keeps dropping off my active threads...very odd. Anyway @Elwyn I do Og and I rarely wrote more than two sentences per item and that's usually if I'm rating it at the low end. The ones that are major brands or retailers with completely uncontroversial things I just put 'no concerns, a well known..' kind of thing and that's the bulk of mine. If it's dodgy in any way, i write a couple more. If its ok apart from being suitable only for residents of a particular area I comment on that. I always look at the FB page and the website if it's there but I don't do my own outside research. Remember it's two minutes so I think it's about 30 secs to look at the screen and do the numbers, 1min to look at the given links, then 30secs to type a bit. If you break it down like that I do t feel guilty about being brief. I've been on it 9 months and never had any feedback either way so hopefully it's ok what I'm doing 😂

GachaBread · 20/04/2022 16:21

Hey guys haven't posted in a while. Thought I'd share something with you all regarding prolific. So my account was put on hold, didn't realise for a while as you have to go to the account page to actually see it. I've been wondering why I haven't seen any studies in a while so decided to fill out some questions about lifestyle and all them other things and that is where I noticed the on hold , it says to email support if this happens and will be looked into. Fine and dandy I is thinking, must be some error. Anyway received an email back today to say I've been banned and cannot give reasons why. Huh? What have I done haha. Done a search on line and seen many people are in the same boat, same generic email that I received too with all that have posted in forums about this. The main thing I wanted to share with you is if you have money in your pot and this happens you will not be able to cash it out. They will not give it you and poof it goes!

Redcrayons · 20/04/2022 17:33

wow, that’s awful. I only cash out once a month, I’ve been on it for years and never had any concerns I wouldn’t get paid. Will get my money ASAP

8DPWoah · 20/04/2022 18:20

Seems I've been booted off Y*... Can't say as I blame them, nor am I sorry, I couldn't get my head round the nuance in the guidelines/it's not the dream project I thought it might be.

More typing for me I guess lol, I am in middle of a new App qualification so will see- sounds like the opposite of addition but with an extra letter?

TheFoldOx · 21/04/2022 11:05

Some good news about Prolific: the minimum rate has just been increased from £5/hour to £6/hour.

Februarycat · 21/04/2022 13:11

@GachaBread Same thing happened to my son I told him about Prolific and he sign up did a few surveys then they banned him. He e mailed them and got no answer. I have been on there for years and never had a problem

GachaBread · 21/04/2022 13:49

@Februarycat hey you, hope your well ❤️Shame about your son too. I quite liked prolific and earned quite a bit of money with them over the years. Only had £6 in the pot at the time of being banned so it could have been worse.

0htooooodles · 21/04/2022 17:34

Another who screwed up the Atas tasks! Was also kicked off of Nle due to sufficient enough data from me 😓

Tranquilitybasehotelandcasino · 21/04/2022 22:32

Has anyone had issues with the Appen mobile app not displaying tasks? I’m assigned to a few roles where it says I can go into the app and begin working but when I go into the task list, it tells me that there aren’t any tasks. This is for every project I’m on. I’ve tried to delete the app, re-download and log in again but it’s the same. I’m stumped.

I haven’t done any Appen work for a few months but prior to that, I have completed projects on the app so it has worked at some point.

Redcrayons · 22/04/2022 12:10

I didn’t even know there was an appen mobile app.

thebeespyjamas · 22/04/2022 13:10

I joined User Testing, then spent 20 mins talking about Spotify when suddenly it just stopped working, timed out or something. Did it all again, same thing. Couldn't press the button for next.

So I gave up on that one.

LolaMontezz · 22/04/2022 14:12

Hi everyone, been quiet for a while but still working away in the background, mostly potato and prolific. I'm on Rev too but not had much opportunity to do much with them.
Is there anyone who does paid shift work for potato happy to pm me? I have questions! Thanks Smile
