@MarigoldMoonStone I think you and I have the same problem with the same item. I thought it would be too identifying to say it but clearly there was more than one. Was your item made in Brazil?

MarigoldMoonStone · 07/04/2022 09:35

No don’t think so, mine was a UK company so at least I should be able to return it if they don’t pay me back for it. That’s a nightmare for you if you can’t even return it. It’s completely unfair if they don’t let us resubmit photos.
I assume the photos needing job id’s are because some people maybe were cancelling orders and just using stock photos for their review. If you can prove you didn’t do that then you should be reimbursed.

YonderTweek · 07/04/2022 10:06

@Redcrayons

How awful to change the rules and not give people chance to correct. I emailed yesterday about my missing reimbursement, but I was assuming it was past the deadline and it would appear next month. They haven’t replied so I’ll tissue a ticket. I won’t do it again it they’re not going to pay for stuff that comes from overseas. The fee doesn’t even cover it.
I thought it would be in next month's invoice if it was done after the deadline too. I only had one product but it was from China so took ages to arrive.

Haha, on this round I have to buy the most expensive cushion. I am tempted to just return it afterwards, even though we're not supposed to.

Redcrayons · 07/04/2022 10:16

That’s what I’m hoping. It was from China and came the day after the cut off. It wasn’t that expensive so the fee covers the cost, but If I don’t get reimbursed then I made about 50p on that round.

Deffo return if it isn’t something you want.

Tinging · 07/04/2022 11:08

@MarigoldMoonStone no sorry that was confusing of me, it’s a UK company but the items are made in Brazil, or that’s what mine has stamped on the back. Maybe something different then. I am going to return, there’s no other choice. Luckily the company has 30 day returns not the usual 14!

@MrsWombat I've been looking at Merch by Amazon but it won't accept my account number and sort code as it isn't enough numbers. Do you know why this might be? I hope you don't mind me asking!

Not sure, it's been years since I set mine up. Does it need to be the IBAN number for your account?

N0va · 07/04/2022 21:07

@MrsWombat yes that's what it's asking for and BIC code??

MrsWombat · 07/04/2022 21:16

It should be listed on your online bank account somewhere then, if not ask your bank to tell it to you. It's a very common thing. Smile

N0va · 07/04/2022 21:29

@MrsWombat you're wonderful, thank you so much!!

Feel very silly now to know how easy it is! Grin

Oooh do you get paid to be an elections officer?

justalittlebitextra · 10/04/2022 09:57

@SpatzBurger

Yes - my polling station was confirmed this week and I'm getting around £15 an hour as a poll clerk, plus two paid training sessions. It's a long day though (6am - 10pm).
justalittlebitextra · 10/04/2022 12:51

Also just had a productive hour sorting through old CDs with DH for a clearout - and made £42 on Ziffit listing them (mainly DH's more obscure ones to be fair). Just need to pack them up and take them to the drop off point.

YonderTweek · 10/04/2022 17:13

This month's A**R was immense. I only had one tat item and the rest was full on designer stuff. Makes me a little bit happy now that I've had such a dry March/Feb. Grin

AdaShelby · 10/04/2022 19:30

My Am££ was rubbish. Junk from China and a horrid dress Grin

SpatzBurger · 10/04/2022 19:39

I signed up to Qmee and have to say I really don't get it at all. I'm filling everything in properly and keep on being immediately declined from surveys. So frustrating and wasting time. I must be doing something wrong but can't work out what.

ruralwanderer · 10/04/2022 21:37

The potato dashboard is working again 🎉

@justalittlebitextra
That great on the polling job - I always assumed it was volunteers. Sounds like you're having a great month.

stillherenow · 11/04/2022 19:02

Just looked at potato dashboard and it had my April earnings starting at 4/4 when I also worked on 1.2 and 3? How do I flag this ?

ruralwanderer · 12/04/2022 07:28

@stillherenow, I'd drop them an email just to flag it up, good luck :)

I've recently had a few 'studies' on Prolific that feel very much like HITS (m turk style)

Elwyn · 13/04/2022 09:19

Is anyone doing Ogd with Ap? For the final question where you can write what you think, how much detail do you go into? I was looking up companies on trustpilot, and assessing reputability and writing whole paragraphs, etc but wondering if this was overkill? Perhaps people get away with writing far less? It was taking up too much of my time so I gave up. Any advice gratefully appreciated - thanks!
