Morning all, hope everyone had a good February!

Pleased that my totals are finally hitting a decent number, what's not so good is that my day usually starts at 3.30 to make that happen.

Crisp: 724.04
Referrals/sign up bonuses: 80
Prolific: 16.37
Appen: 14.76
Total: £835.17

Wow that's a lot from Crisp. Well done @rhij86. I gave up on them a long time ago

rhij86 · 01/03/2022 04:57

@ThinkingDifferent only because I've recently been added onto paid-per-hour shift work! About £80 of it was from the usual pay per item work.

kingtonne · 01/03/2022 05:28

What job do you do at crisp? Is it tech work?

rhij86 · 01/03/2022 05:59

@kingtonne it's online moderation work, checking social media posts for innapropriate content.
Their website is www.crispthinking.com if you wanted more info :)

Thanks for the new thread, I'll do my totals later. They won't be as good as I'd hoped as I had two days without electricity and forgot to factor in having the kids at home all half term but yesterday was fairly productive and that's how I plan to continue 💪

Buster27 · 01/03/2022 10:53

Thanks for the new thread.

£1075 for me (from Crisp, Appen and Prolific).
Did anybody else have a crazy good month on prolific?! I got £107 this month, seemed to hit a flurry of decent paying ones instead of the usual 17p jobs Grin

Assume the good prolific streak won't last, but I have plenty of work from Crisp and Appen (Ykn) at the moment so will just try and push on with those this month.

justalittlebitextra · 01/03/2022 11:04

Yes, half term was pretty rubbish for me as well (I didn't get a single survey for Prolific in half term, but I guess I just wasn't at my laptop enough).

I've earned £40 on survey sites (Prolific, Lifepoints and Branded Surveys) and $440 with Appen (mainly N*e and the news surveys). So not brilliant, but not awful either. I'm going to be screwed when my year on N*e is up though.

rhij86 · 01/03/2022 11:59

@Buster27 that's some crazy money on prolific! I've been pretty lax with it but you've inspired me haha.

Talking about prolific, this is everyone's monthly reminder to make sure your 'about you' section is up to date.

Not free cash as such but you get £10 free to spend with zilch using my link. (FYI I get £10 free too)
You can use the £10 at Zara, river island, cult beauty etc

Daisychain789 · 01/03/2022 13:33

Last month was mainly referrals/free cash for me.
£75 tide
£20 chip
£20 go Henry

Plus £25 from TopCashback.

YonderTweek · 01/03/2022 13:51

Thanks for the new thread. Smile Great totals here!

My Feb was a bit crap but I was prepared for a quiet month. Still better than January though, and I think I made about £400. I'm pleased that I had time to do personal stuff this month as I have so much to do, and it's been nice to hang out with DC so I'm not complaining. Grin Look forward to more work though!

ruralwanderer · 01/03/2022 16:30

My totals are in and a far cry from the £250 target I'd set myself:

Prolific: £26.08
Crisp: £44.84
Appen: $30.28
Intellizoom: $21.00
SumUp Freebie: £10

Total (assuming today's conversion rate for the American stuff which it won't be): £119.12

It's my son's birthday this month and I've got tons of prep to do so I'm going to be realistic and set myself the £250 target again rather than reaching for the heady echelons I'd like to reach.

Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 01/03/2022 18:59

Well I am spending more than I am earning! Finally left Crisp after 2 years. Can't sit around waiting for content, such a waste of time. Nothing good on Appen for me either yet, only news surveys.

BaffledAgain · 01/03/2022 20:07

Just want to say a huge thanks to everyone who posts on here. It's exactly a year since I plucked up the courage to jump in and have a go at some of the suggestions made by you all. Felt nervous and confused, and completely out of my depth, but was determined to give it a go. With help from my very patient husband who showed me how the laptop works (yes I honestly was that hopeless!) and helped me with a few of the suggestions in the links, I started off at a slow pace. A year on I have earned £4,500 and have actually mastered use of the laptop, and can use the internet with ease. Some of the work I really enjoy, some of it is a real slog but I have learnt so much from doing it that it's still worth it. Hope this encourages some of you looking through this thread to just give it a go. Good luck everyone!

Baby89 · 01/03/2022 22:10

Place making.

Catatemyhomework · 01/03/2022 22:37

Thanks for starting the new thread. I think I earned just over £500 in February. I took half term off as had kids and needed a break. Hoping for something similar in March. I do really struggle to do more than a few hours a day though and it's hard to do weekends with the kids too. Would love to try and be more disciplined with it.

Redcrayons · 02/03/2022 10:36

Happy March everyone.

Not a bad February for me, just over £100
Dipped my toes into Rev and did OK. I quite enjoy doing it but seems like the work is only ever there from 6pm onwards so going to struggle to make that one a regular thing.

Finally signed up to Qmee, having Downloaded the app months ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how many surveys there are, although the hourly rate for some of them is shocking. I got screened out of at least half, but I still got £15 over two weeks so it’s ok for a pretty low effort app.

Anyone for the email about Aman this morning? Look similar to the Ekstr one a while back. Easy enough, but sooooooo boring.

sophiar369 · 02/03/2022 10:59

Hi all,

Some great ideas on this thread! I've made nearly £80 in the last couple of weeks from FreeTrade. When you download the app through a referral link, you are credited with a free share worth £3-£200. You can then refer friends and family and gain another free share each time they join. You do have to deposit £1, but once the free share reaches your account, you can withdraw the £1 again. My referral link is below:

evtheria · 02/03/2022 11:45

Checking in for March!
February aim was £200, I made just over £250. Combination of Potatoes, surveys, and focus groups.

Same target for this month, hurts to think a year ago I would have made £400+ ‘easy’ from potatoes alone :(

Buster27 · 02/03/2022 13:04

@BaffledAgain Wow, well done! You've made a very successful go of it :)

@Redcrayons I got that email but I can't actually remember what Eks* was Confused

8dpwoah · 02/03/2022 13:28

Just checking in! Missed my personal target for Feb but think it'll be £500 in the end so not far off, mostly thanks to Y* on App although I can't get my March invoice to work so I'm a bit wary of sending in my Feb one, maybe irrationally so?

Coffeencrochet · 02/03/2022 13:36

Placemarking

Adelais · 02/03/2022 13:47

I made about £550 on potato last month which was one of my best months. Hopefully can make at least £500 again this month.

The rest of my earnings came from prolific, clickworker and UserTesting.

Kindfulness · 02/03/2022 13:51

How do you sign up to Crisp? I can't find anything that seems relevant on their site?
