Prolific is definitely not running quite as smoothly for me as it has done in the past - I had a survey a couple of weeks back that was very apparent from the content wasn't meant for the UK - I finished it anyway because from what I remember it was really short. And I've had a daily one this week that hasn't been giving me completion codes at all.

YonderTweek · 08/03/2022 11:35

I'm finally back on A**r! Grin Five products and the first three seem to be scam websites so no good so far. Haha. At least I know I'm still in the game I suppose. Fingers crossed the last two are something actually useful!

dizzydizzydizzy · 08/03/2022 12:51

Thanks! Great thread. Also placemarking.

PoseyFlump · 08/03/2022 14:47

Definitely worth persevering @Coffeencrochet Smile

PoseyFlump · 08/03/2022 14:48

@Redcrayons

How can you cheat on Prolific though? I could post all my completion codes but unless you get the survey it means nothing.

I don't get it either 🤷🏻‍♀️

R2G · 08/03/2022 18:28

I've not seen mentioned yet but I am loving Airtime Rewards. You get cash back just by spending on the card you link to it, and it goes off your mobile bill. So you don't see the cash in hand, but I haven't paid my mobile in two months
Cashback is with normal retailers like Tesco in store and Primark.

Use my code KAVJXMCJ and you’ll get a pound bonus to get started on it.

I'm finally in on prolific! Already completed a study and awaiting review Smile

SavingNotSpending · 08/03/2022 21:59

Really glad I found this thread, I’m on Mat leave at the moment and looking for ways to make a bit of extra money.

I’ve been on prolific for a while now, I find that there are times I get barely anything though. Would be better if there was a way to get notifications for new surveys too!

I joined Attapoll last month but I’m not liking it. I’ve earned a bit from it (around £20) but it’s annoying that you can get quite far into a survey before then being disqualified for not meeting the criteria.

Just signed up to the Crisp waiting list too.

PoseyFlump · 08/03/2022 22:53

Brilliant @Coffeencrochet Grin

Click on your profile questions regularly and check it says 100% at the top as they often add new ones and they open up more studies!

So my excitement at being back on Amur soon passed. 5 items, 2 skips for dodgy websites.

Two items from China, some cheap makeup and fluffy animal slippers, and a UK site selling coat hangers. No refunds this time round, but the coat hangers will be useful.

PoseyFlump · 09/03/2022 10:02

Has anyone done fo**ster? I've passed the qual exam but not sure now if I'm in or still have to wait until they need more people? (Which has happened so far on everything I've been accepted for! Still haven't worked anything yet)

Winterjoy · 09/03/2022 10:15

I was so excited to get the email - but skipped one as a scam website and three as they had 'ad removed' notices (then read after that I should have proceeded anyway - so I don't expect to get picked again). I did manage to purchase one product but low value so no point refunding. So all in all, over an hours work in total by the time I'd researched and filled in the forms and I'll be walking away with payment for one review Sad
Buster27 · 09/03/2022 10:50

@PoseyFlump I've done some of the for**ter ones before (there are a lot of them). Next step is usually a test batch - varies as to how long this takes, will probably be less of a wait if the project has already started. If you do ok on the test batch you'll then get access to the work. If you have a look at the project chat you will probably see if the project is already underway/if people are doing test batches at the moment. Occasionally you will do the qualification exam and it will turn out they have enough people/project is just ending and nothing further happens, but hopefully not the case for you.

PoseyFlump · 09/03/2022 13:07

Thanks @Buster27 I've had a look and some are working (but seem to be having various problems with completing tasks) so I won't get excited about it Grin

LJAKS · 09/03/2022 22:01

How do you know if you pass the crisp test? Does it tell you at the end or is it an email later on? No sure what I scored 🤷‍♀️🥴

I received an email that said my score within a few minutes of completing the test - it might have gone into your junk folder if it hasn't come through to the inbox?
Winterjoy · 10/03/2022 23:15

Is anyone on Pow* at the moment? Just wondering whether it's worth going through the qualification process?

howfartospar · 11/03/2022 09:01

Does anyone know roughly how long the waiting list is for potatoes? I completed the aptitude test a few months back but haven't heard a thing.

I’ve been on for 2 years starting just before lockdown. I waited for around 6 months. The wait is much longer now, because the amount of work is much less than it was then and they have over recruited.

@howfartospar I applied in September 2019 and was added in November/December 2020.

Really pleased I found this site, signed up to utest and intellizoom last night and already got my first $25 assignment on utest tonight.

I passed in May 20 and not heard any more from them, so not holding out much hope now
TempTraffic · 11/03/2022 18:36

I cannot for the life of me pass the crisp test! No idea where I'm going wrong

peabrainer · 12/03/2022 08:49

Thank you to whoever it was on here who recommended Tide bank- was a bit sceptical but the sign up offer of £75 was transferred into my account just under a month after I signed up.

They have sent me a referral code which give us both £50 if anyone would like to use it. It's Z5VEO4.

Just Google Tide bank and sign up as a sole trader. I just used my own name as my business account name and transferred £1 in. (I'm actually going to use them for my earnings from online stuff because I want to separate it out from other income, but there's no obligation to pay money in.)
