That should say cr***t 🤦🏻‍♀️

Gatekeeper · 02/02/2022 14:00

@TheHumanFund yes I did this morning. Got all excited thinking I'd been chosen for this month. Well and truly chucked off the project...bums

PigeonPigPie · 02/02/2022 14:09

I got an email asking me to do the qualification test for W*s but when I click on learning centre it's just giving the link to two documents... that won't open. Gah!

YonderTweek · 02/02/2022 14:18

I don' think A*r is ending. I thought the email was just about the two groups being deleted. Actually, I just checked the normal A*r chat and the mod was saying that project is still going on. Not that I'll ever get selected. Grin

chocciechocface · 02/02/2022 14:46

Me again. The person struggling with Appen.

Can I ask if I'm in the right area for finding projects (see screenshot).

The second screenshot - not holding real info - shows what is happening when I use the calendar picker to fill in the forms. Is there another area I should be in to fill these in?

@chocciechocface Yes you are on the right place to choose projects to apply for Just click on All Projects and it will show you an alphabetical list of projects with descriptions, there should be about 7 pages of them. Just click on Apply if there are any you you would like to try out for, then it will move onto your list of
Applied projects and you will receive 2 emails from them. Good luck, just a note though everything is working super slow this afternoon, can't seem to access a lot of my stuff

Thank you for replying. Whew. I have applied and these are appearing under my 'applied tab'. 'I've got 8 Active processes'. Some of them have this underneath 'Please complete the following task: Complete intelligent attributes', which takes me to the form which won't accept the date I enter. So I can't seem to progress that. Totally baffled.

I received an email from another one, inviting me to take part, but I have no idea where to go to take part...? Nothing is appearing under the 'My projects' tab - which is where I assumed it would appear.

Is this other page relevant at all? Nothing appearing for me under tasks here either.

Is anyone doing c*e on Appen, I just got an email to say I’ve qualified for it but just want to see if there’s really work on it.

TheHumanFund · 02/02/2022 15:32

@YonderTweek Just looked at the chat and it seems a lot of people got the wrong idea from the email!
Hopefully we'll all get picked again soon 🤞 I didn't realise how much I miss buying random crap until I missed out last month 🤣

BaffledAgain · 02/02/2022 15:35

@chocciechocface That is so frustrating that you can't enter your date of birth in the format they want Could you go on the Social page in Appen and ask there, I'm sure someone will know how to do it

anxiouswaiting · 02/02/2022 18:17

Just failed R* M* qualification, anyone else done it? I am having a really bad run at failing qualifications at the moment!

ReadySteadyTwins · 02/02/2022 18:36

Hi there. Newbie here. What is "potatoes?"

Tohaveandtohold · 02/02/2022 18:37

@ReadySteadyTwins, it’s a made up name for Crisp thinking.

SparklyLogic · 02/02/2022 18:41

Place marking to have a proper look at later.

How much time do you spend on these things to make a decent profited?

Buster27 · 02/02/2022 19:23

Hello, fell off last month's thread as wasn't able to work much towards the end of the month, managed to make around £750 though. Back to it now and aiming for around 1k this month.

Really hoping to get onto a good App project soon, only really got Ykn on there just now (and I also got a crap review so don't want to rely on it too much!). I hadn't been on Prolific for ages but it was actually decent last month so hoping to get some more from there, and also will try and keep peeling potatoes when I can.

@rhij86 How are the shifts going? Assume good from your total for the month Smile

rhij86 · 02/02/2022 19:43

@buster27 yeah they're going well! The late nights/early mornings are killing me (my day is starting at 3.30am every day this week - potato shift, children up, fed etc and off to nursery, full day at my day job, then the usual evening fun with the children) but needs must 🤷‍♀️

You have to be quicker than lightning though when the shifts are opened up, they go so quickly!!

@chocciechocface I'm getting the same problem with the date of birth. I was doing a project last week all fine but when I went to do more this weekend it is asking for DOB and other info not related to the task, and I cannot get it to accept the date. I'm going to raise a ticket because it looks like a site error.

animalcrossingfan2021 · 02/02/2022 20:53

£20 free with gohenry card if you sign up via my link

www.gohenry.com/uk/referrals/?ght=RAF&utm_campaign=refer_a_friend_A&utm_source=invitelinkWA#ref_lnk_goQA1786_Yh

Thank you for letting me know. I thought I was going mad! I also contacted them about it.

place marking

WriterBee · 02/02/2022 22:01

January was an abysmal month for me, one of my worst. I've been accepted with T'lus but there hasn't been any work available when I've logged on.

App invoice question - do the bonus amounts re A**r show up on your invoice before you submit it? I can see it on previous invoices but it's not on Jan's one, and I really can't remember if it's usually there before I submit or not?!

8dpwoah · 02/02/2022 23:36

I do at least an hour a day, most days it's two and that gets me around $500 although it is two hours every day. I can have a day or two off a week if I want but one project is 5 days a week min (max an hour a day) and the other is 8 hours min over a week but I can do up to 14 at present. I'm on mat leave so work round the kids sleeping!
Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 03/02/2022 01:05

I almost forgot to check in on here for February! Anyway I need to get a grip. I left Crisp a few months ago because I got sick and tired of sitting there waiting for content. I had been with them a couple of years too. Haven't missed it. I need to start having a good check out of Appen and see what's going on there as I have only been doing the news surveys and A**r.
Thinking I might try a bit of matched betting.

coldwaterswimmer · 03/02/2022 08:27

Hi everyone, joining for the first time this month. I've dabbled in paid surveys before but never made very much (£50 over about 2 years with YouGov!!). Just made about £40 with Clickworker in two days so I'm pretty happy with that. Does anyone do the UHRS tasks - they all seem to be for pennies. Are they worth it?

I've signed up with a few other sites and am on various waiting lists so hopefully some more work will come my way soon.

Hope everyone has a good February!

YonderTweek · 03/02/2022 10:31

@TheHumanFund Same! I've missed a couple of rounds now and I'm always gutted if I don't make it. I don't know why I love it so much but I do. Grin

I have work again! I've just started work on Man**s and it's actually quite entertaining. It's only a short term one though, but it seems that there is no cap on hours so I'm going to do as much as I possibly can to make up for the lost time.
