MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

And
"When they respect you they will stay"

🤣Ding ding ding - we have a cult!

Spongebobette · 31/12/2021 09:35

There’s not a single thing on those notes that she doesn’t know already

MarchXX · 31/12/2021 12:48

@acatcalledjohn

She went on an approx 1.5hr round trip to pick up 6 cartons of aloe gelly/juice, two deodorants and another two or three small products.

Is that really worth 1.5 hours in the car? At FLP's pricing I'd expect free delivery.

Full metal bot indeed.

That stuff would be for her and her mum, too Hmm. I bet mum's heart sunk when she told her she was back building her business empire...again.
NynaeveSedai · 31/12/2021 12:53

@dickiedavisthunderthighs

Yawn's happy because she's wearing a size 12 coat which doesn't actually fit.
She's clearly the same weight she has always been. Which is fine, except the lying.

So sad to see nurse is back in the cult.

Would Castle's "Buy a planner to be entered into a £1000 draw" count as an unlicensed raffle?

BSintolerant · 31/12/2021 18:41

Castle’s draw counts as a desperate act. Who would buy a planner from a scatty person like Castle? If some of her social media posts are anything to go by she couldn’t organise a leg over in a brothel.

Yawn’s also getting desperate if she’s paying an Amway coach for monkey-see-monkey-do MLM “training”. Why didn’t she engage the likes of Bloodsucker for coaching sessions? Could it be because the writing’s on the wall as far as her alleged Forever Fibbing business is concerned and she’s planning on reinventing herself as one of those ghastly scamming six figure coaches?

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 31/12/2021 19:10

She would make a great coach as she seems to have all the credentials .... I mean, you only have to see the way she uses different colour pens for her notes to know that she is half way there already. 🙄

Happy New Year to all the anti MLM crew

Let’s hope 2022 is the year more people see the exploitative business model for what it is and get out/ don’t join up

Whitefire · 01/01/2022 00:42

I think it must have been mentioned on a previous thread (I'm reading back at the moment) but I started watching the BBC documentary on iPlayer, I haven't watched it all (kids took over the TV) but will finish it over the weekend.

(What an exciting NYE I had Grin )

BangingOn · 01/01/2022 09:58

Has anyone watched LuLaRich yet? I don’t have Prime so haven’t seen it, but I’m listening to the True Crime Obsessed podcast episodes on it which are both hilariously funny and slightly terrifying in terms of what LuLaRoe did to so many people. It sums up the cult like behaviours and the exploitative nature of MLMs so well.

BSintolerant · 01/01/2022 10:13

The Secrets of the Multilevel Millionaires documentary is very good. Here’s a link for anyone who hasn’t seen it:

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p076n2hg/secrets-of-the-multilevel-millionaires-ellie-undercover

I remember certain bots frothing at the mouth when it first came out. They were making claims that some MLM companies were going to take legal action because they didn’t like it. I wonder how that worked out? Grin

Whitefire At least you weren’t spending your precious time and money you can ill afford typing up handwritten notes (which you’d written in different coloured pens) from an eye-wateringly expensive training session which you think is going to transform your failing so-called business. There’s one born every minute.

2022 is going to be another interesting year for relentless shining a light on the MLM scam and we've come so far here on mn in helping to stem the tide and educate/support/advise and publicise the truth about mMLM. We have made a difference and this is why the thread continues. I am honoured to be here Grin.

Spongebobette · 01/01/2022 11:50

I, for one, am enjoying watching a particular scammer squirm and clutch at straws to save her business - after years of using the same techniques and messages over and over again she’s realised it’s no longer working (because people are more resistant to the scam now due in part to threads like these)
So she’s giving money to another scammer who is telling her EXACTLY THE SAME stuff that she’s been pedalling

Spongebobette · 01/01/2022 11:52

I also note that the top bots have stopped doing the boast posts about material possessions quite as much as they used to and now ‘time freedom’ is the hook

spanfan · 01/01/2022 12:30

Castles covid dates do not add up. She posted yday on insta to say she'd had first neg test in 1p days. Yet was supposedly in London with bruv on 23rd.

Clearly ignoring rules, or fibbing. Lovely.

spanfan · 01/01/2022 12:31

*10 days

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/01/2022 13:04

As we know, the top bots' maffs is pretty dodgy in general (either that or, God forbid, they lie every time they open their mouths).
The whole Castle clan has treated CoVid rules as something that only applies to the little people, not VIPs of their standing...

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 01/01/2022 17:16

The Pizza Express couple that Uber is posting about .....they were originally signed up by Yawn! Ubers post implies that they're now directly under her.

I had a feeling that I recognised their names and the Pizza Express story and , sure enough, if you scroll back through their photos there they are with Yawn 5 years ago.

Yawn and Mr Yawn visited them in Slovakia to help them recruit in their home country IIRC

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 01/01/2022 17:24

...and noticeably Yawn isn't in the comments congratulating them for reaching Chairman's Bonus.

Spongebobette · 01/01/2022 17:54

Hmmmm

BSintolerant · 01/01/2022 18:05

Is Yawn in the Chairman’s Bonus list?

OP posts:
JohnStonesMissus · 01/01/2022 18:19

Ooh Chairman's bonus! That's given me something to look forward to now Christmas is over, I wonder who's qualified?

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 01/01/2022 18:30

I need this info Grin

JohnStonesMissus · 01/01/2022 18:32

Both Yawn and Uber have asked if anyone has made New Year resolutions, the question is why? Just for engagement? Seems a bit daft.

Spongebobette · 01/01/2022 18:38

Ah yes gotta get some engagement!
