MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

@fromdownwest

Whats with the anti 'bullying' theme with FL bots at the minute?
I think it is designed to pre-empt anyone challenging their lies spiel - anyone who holds them to account must be a bully.....
fromdownwest · 16/02/2022 09:36

We must have a lot of people challending them at present then, which is causing the defensive reaction.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 16/02/2022 09:58

What I find interesting (locally to me anyway) is that a lot of the MLMs bots don't advertise their wares or try to recruit on local Facebook groups.

I live near Yawn so it's an area knee deep in bots yet FL bots never seem to pop up on fb pages. My guess is that they've seen less savvy bots get jumped on with comments like "it's an MLM/pyramid scheme/scam" etc. I've seen this happen to Body Shop and travel MLMs in particular.

Also, by keeping them off that type of social media it means that any potential recruits don't realise that the market is flooded with aloe bots.

A new Body Shop bot posted on a local page earlier saying she was covering a certain area of town and was immediately jumped on by a couple of other bots, clearly miffed, saying they'd been covering that area for X/Y years. It was nearly body butters at dawn, I tell you! Grin

They’re all singing from the same hymn sheet at the moment because, according to Lanzabot’s infamous training video, MLM is a @monkey see, monkey do” business.

@CloseYourEyesAndSee

Broke's post about the newest crypto scam he's joining ...

You become part of rhe Blockchain and earn from the Blockchain with Nodes! Simple!

Jesus. Anyone stupid enough to follow him deserves to lost their money now.

The FB group set up for victims of the last crypto scam he was involved with to get their refunds was mainly loads of ambulance chasers posting investment opportunities saying 'here's the real deal investment! Join me!'. Most of the comments were 'info please!' Madness

I live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone, but one of the absolute top top BSAH bots lives here. We sometimes get BSAH bots from out the area posting for recruits on the local buy and sell site. I always laugh to myself because not long afterwards it gets deleted and she pops up with a sales or recruitment post.

She is pretty incessant too, on the street she lives there are 2 other BSAH bots, how much body butter does one little street need??

Yawn has a shortened day today - time freedom and total control of her life apparently. As she says:

No ‘opening hours’
No ‘premises’
No ‘staff’
No ‘stock’

Well, let me complete that for you:

No honesty
No money
No hope
No thatch
No entrepreneurship
No control
No consistency
No C9 success
No sleep at night

No point

Spongebobette · 16/02/2022 18:38

Yeah what about her Monday evening team catch-up 🙄

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 16/02/2022 18:59

No sick pay
No holiday pay
No pension
No time off
No paycheck

Done a bit of digging and found the GLT (global leadership team) for this year for FL.. Bloodsucker is on there with only half the qualification she had a few years ago. Uber nowhere to be see at all. In fact only one UK qualifier to be found at all. Five years ago there were 5 or 6. That's really shocking and shows the decline.

DecemberGal · 16/02/2022 19:22

Apparently Phd got married 04/08/2021. However she gave herself an Index Fund for Valentines.Romantic 21st century style.💐🥂🍾🍫

Did she? She kept that quiet! I assumed they had split up and that’s why she had to move into a new apartment.
BotOff · 16/02/2022 23:53

So, I too have been doing some digging. I have all the lists of the qualifiers and the cc’s they did. Also a list of who is getting a bonus cheque and at what level. Also, the poster of the GLT team. I don’t understand why it’s just Bloodsucker tho as Uber also qualified at 7.5k too. Btw when Uber was no1 at the peak, she nearly hit 20k so it’s definitely bad news lol! Absolutely shocking to see the amount of huge players from the boom time scraping just 1.5k too!!! If I remember rightly 1.5k would amount to £30k a year, hardly a luxury lifestyle!!! Anyone wanting all the lists, I can pm you it.

Spongebobette · 16/02/2022 23:56

Yes please!

Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting · 17/02/2022 06:45

I can't believe PhD got married and kept it quiet. There would be endless wedding dress pics etc. I slso think they have split.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 17/02/2022 07:24

@DecemberGal - where did you see about PhD getting married?

Spongebobette · 17/02/2022 09:18

Oh and the accusations of online bullying have to be vague enough so that readers aren't able to go and look at what's been posted
We give some top bots s very hard time on here, scrutinising their claims and pointing out contradictions and the way they mislead .... But if they said 'I am being bullied on a thread on Mumsnet' their downline might look for it. They can't even say 'go and defend poor little me, flying monkeys’ because reading through these threads would result in at least some of the downline having the scales fall from their eyes
So instead we get ‘I’m being bullied’ with no detail

definitelynotabot · 17/02/2022 10:41

Yes please @BotOff !

I think for GLT there are other criteria, not just CCs. Can't remember what though.

Will be very interested to see a CB list.

fromdownwest · 17/02/2022 11:37

Why would PHD buy an index fund? Surley better in a glass jar on your desk, manifesting against the risk of 5% inflation...

I suppose she is good at losing money, so why change now.

Walking a fine line with financial advice that one is with this new programme she has, even with a discalimer in the UK, if the FCA have a hint you are advising on any investment with out the regulatory capacity and risk warnings its a big no no.

Not sure on Oz

fromdownwest · 17/02/2022 11:39

Castle - best way to track prospects..

Notepad - Nope?
Excel spreadsheet - Nope?
Overpriced Tat pad - Yesss

I agree, a password protected, easily sorted, easily editable, accessed from any of your computer spreadsheet it a terrible idea.

Imagine if one of these bots had their bag stolen with a note pad full of names, emails and possible medical ailements..... They would defo contacted their data controller officer and follow the GDPR procedure that they have in place..

DecemberGal · 17/02/2022 12:00

Looks likes Phd announcement has been removed. Shows she still stalks this thread. If you look at left hand on photos sometimes there is a ring but anyone can by one. No photos of Mr Phd

fromdownwest · 17/02/2022 12:09

As a completley seperate topic. Has she now obtained Oz citizenship?

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 17/02/2022 15:21

Has Uber actually qualified 7.5k for 2022? She did in 2021, but she's definitely not on the GLT list for 2022, it's only Bloodsucker showing from the UK. I can't see anything other than they have to achieve 7.5k so it reads to me that she didn't make that much?
definitelynotabot · 17/02/2022 16:01

... adds to say, I haven't seen a CB list and haven't heard much noise about it either, I wonder if they are downplaying that somewhat this year?
