MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

Who’d give her a mortgage though?

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 22/01/2022 22:15

Good point!

YouokHun · 22/01/2022 23:11

I don’t normally follow Bestie but now I know she’s practically on a seven figure income I shall watch with interest. The reduction on the school fees for any scholarship at the school in question is a maximum of 10% but if you need further support to take up the scholarship then the school in question may help with further money after a forensic level check of the parents’ finances to check the need is genuine. I suspect that the finances were so far short of seven figures that the school paid.

Spongebobette · 23/01/2022 00:16

Yes it’s amazing how helpful top public schools are when they want a promising athlete on their team

CanadianJohn · 23/01/2022 03:38

@Spongebobette

Oh I have found it now

Business has 11k in it

Which is quite a long way off 7 figures!!!

What do you mean, £11,000.00 is exactly 7 figures! Wink
SnoogyWoo · 23/01/2022 06:31

What yawn is saying is literally the definition of fraud!

BSintolerant · 23/01/2022 10:46

Yawn needs to add another disclaimer to her Insta stories so that potential victims know she’s a fraudulent fraudster who is on more than just nodding terms with fraud. I wonder why her other disclaimer is in small print in a light-coloured font? Anyone would think she was making it difficult to read.

Am I right in thinking that Yawn's BFF is going to receive a cheque but Yawn isn't? (Well she's not said and I'm sure we'd have heard about it by now!) Yawn seems to recruit non stop so I don't get why she isn't, but then I really don't understand how it all works....anyone know?

Spongebobette · 23/01/2022 18:13

Yawn is crowing about having 5k followers on Insta
Looking at the list, she’s clearly bought them
Is NOTHING genuine about her?

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 23/01/2022 18:19

Nope

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 23/01/2022 20:30

Is NOTHING genuine about her?

Compare her face on the recent, much discussed, photo of Yawn in her red leopard print top with her face on today's dog walk photo.

One could possibly be more genuine than the other ...but I doubt either is 100% genuine.

BSintolerant · 23/01/2022 21:19

The dogs look genuinely happy in the video.

Because I live in such a hotbed for MLM, I have the misfortune to know many, many people who were involved in it. I remember one of them several years ago posting her FL stage speech on Facebook about how FL had helped her to be able to afford to put food on the table. Before that she had worked for the NHS. She conveniently failed to mention that for years, she had 4 children in private schools. I still don't know how that was possible for her tbh.

Was that Roomie by any chance?
Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/01/2022 11:39

Broke has deleted some of his more recent gushing posts about his latest crypto scam. Has the Ponzi gone tits up already?

Spongebobette · 24/01/2022 14:31

Yawn says you can run a successful business with her if you stop watching soaps 😬

Spongebobette · 24/01/2022 14:33

( activities like that which she says are wasted time will be replaced by ‘busy work’ that she sets you)

I wonder if any of her minions ever wonder why she is CONSTANTLY recruiting after 12 years?

BSintolerant · 24/01/2022 15:42

Bots like Yawn could also run a successful business (i.e not MLM) if they stopped buggering about and telling fibs on social media 24/7.

@Hunbot

Iron bot 19th jan

Claiming jp has been selected as top value for money product and a link to an article. Picture of jp on it

Go into the article - the jp has been photoshopped and it isnt in the article

Was this a pre workout article in the independent? I saw that on one of the Top JP bots insta, was not impressed with the Journo.

Until I saw the original article and no JP in sight, literally photshop job of protein powder onto the article.

The brass on that

Unfortunately, that is exactly what they think running a business is about. Hence the pathetically laughable advice they bring to the table when they attempt to set themselves up as 'real' business coaches...
WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 24/01/2022 19:50

Has Yawn messed about with her latest FB photo again (leather jacket photo) ?

If you were to draw a line down the centre of her face, top to bottom, her face shape is completely different on both sides.
On the right (as we look at it) her face is rounder around the jawline and on the left it has a more defined shape

Itsnotover · 24/01/2022 21:19

@WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks yes Roomie.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 25/01/2022 09:40

@Itsnotover I thought it might be.
Between them the 4 children seemed to have been in most private schools in the area! All whilst she struggled to put food on the table Hmm. Thank goodness for FL eh?

In other news .... good ol' FL treated their bots to another evening in the tent at HQ. Yawn's BFF may be heading towards a 7 figure income but she still has to slum it in the tent with the rest of them! Grin

FloellaDeVille · 25/01/2022 12:42

I can't believe I've been driving past Forever Living's UK HQ in Warwick all these years and never knew it was there. It's a lovely building - but there's now a massive new McDonalds right next door.

I was, in fact, en route to the drive-thru when I spotted it, complete with grotty tent on the back lawn (which is also not as big as I imagined, and has a nice view of the Maccies carpark). It really does look dingy and not very aspirational at all in its current surroundings.

Spongebobette · 25/01/2022 13:11

I wonder if the family that owns the manor - who also own FL - flogged off a bit of land for that McDonalds
