MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

BSintolerant · 25/12/2021 18:39

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

I need to see yawn pic too. No shame here

ticktock19 · 18/01/2022 22:38

Yawns thighs also look extremely 'stretched' in that pic

I bet she sold all that collagen to bots who couldn’t order any direct from FLP because people like her has bought it all.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 19/01/2022 13:41

I can't stop zooming in on the Yawn pic. The left hand side seems to have some sort of leftover panel of photo that she should have removed; her fingers are mental and her hip to waist ratio looks like a Lego figure. It's the most entertainment I've had all week.

BSintolerant · 19/01/2022 13:50

Perhaps the mirror she was standing in front of when she took the selfie is fairground mirror.

Who is the photoshopped of them all?

OP posts:
MarchXX · 19/01/2022 17:01

Unfortunately, Yawn has done a poor job of fixing the photo to imply weight loss and it will be painfully obvious to everyone, even besotted bots of hers. No matter how many pounds she states she has lost on the C9, it will be a lie and everyone will know it is a lie.

How awful to have to live like this, live a lie every single day. To exploit family, too. It is soul destroying and I don't know how she does it.

Yawn, if you're reading this, please think about using your talents in a viable and honest career. You won't regret it I promise.

VolcanicEruption · 19/01/2022 18:21

She is wearing same blouse in the career woman post and face is completely different. That same bot is in a recent picture of farmers wife using a crutch. It could be recent event or maybe left work due to ill health.

Another bot is on her picture of 29/12. She is someone I thought who had left due to various issues .

Is Yawn really employable in todays market?. It also depends on what is in the area.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 19/01/2022 20:55

I think Yawn could have been employable in sales or corporate bollocks a few years ago but now she's beyond it. Her grip on reality is too shaky.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 19/01/2022 21:11

OMG she's lost the plot. She's now posted a photo wearing the most unflattering granny trousers!

Again she looks all stumpy and out of proportion.
It's like she's photoshopped the top half but forgotten her bottom half.

Spongebobette · 19/01/2022 21:44

The trouble is, if you spend a decade in network marketing you get really out of date - there’s no professional development or training, you start to think hints and tips for Insta, or talking about your fake tan/ nails/ haircut/ dogs are actually genuine marketing and you can’t get back into the world of work

Angrymum22 · 19/01/2022 22:07

It’s Yawn’s nose that gives it away. It’s so narrow on the photoshopped one it looks like she’s had a bad nose job. The arms are all wrong.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 19/01/2022 22:10

Please will somebody post this pic! Blur or block out bit but I need to see it

YouokHun · 20/01/2022 09:41

@Invasionofthegutsnatchers it’s on Twitter

BSintolerant · 20/01/2022 11:09

It’s also on Facebook.

With household budgets taking a nosedive I wonder at the conversation when someone falls for the scam usually women. Do they never take a look at the people who try to recruit them and think no they are not living a six figure lifestyle so why are they promising me untold riches.
Many are single mothers and on UC 🤷‍♀️

Spongebobette · 20/01/2022 12:05

Well some of the recruiters LOOK like they are living the dream life. You’d need to look closely and dig about to see that it’s all smoke and mirrors

YouokHun · 20/01/2022 14:06

It’s easy to present what they want on social media especially during recent times where there’s been even less face to face contact. I think potential recruits are persuaded to focus on the flashy upline a few rungs up who seems to have the dream. Appeal to the emotions and to the vulnerabilities and the critical thinking will take a back seat - and it looks like that dream is just a few promotions away. It seems odd not to take a look at that recruiter’s real life, I agree @VolcanicEruption, why can’t they see through it?? But then they’re inviting you to join them on a journey [that’s already going well for them!] and often using their modest circumstances to convince you that they’re just like you and have found it’s life changing, so you will too. It’s so manipulative.

I really wish some of the potential recruits would have a dig around to look at the truth of the flashy uplines or the people at the top. These days anti-MLM expose and inconsistencies can be found and I’m sure it catches some people and stops them signing up. But the realities of MLM and the fact the dream is a pack of lies isn’t an attractive message. Far more comforting to believe the struggling recruiter who says her life is changing and she’s now a CEO and she’s now escaping the life she’s in.

Spongebobette · 20/01/2022 14:12

And of course some are subsidised by parents or partners and falsely claim that everything they show off is thanks to MLM

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 20/01/2022 14:46

Yawn's twitter has nothing since 2018 unless I'm bring thick...?

SSDGM · 20/01/2022 16:08

Yawn has been added to yet another VIP group to work on FLP and their “continued success in the UK”. So a downward trajectory is success, is it?

Spongebobette · 20/01/2022 16:12

I thought you’d at least have to qualify for one of the big cheques to be a VIP

mind you MLMs are v good at giving people titles, awards and ‘recognition’ which sound impressive but are meaningless

fromdownwest · 20/01/2022 16:53

When you take as step back, it is actually really tragic.

I work with many small business owners, and there is not one motivational hoodie and pen between them, not fake certificates, no VIP status, no parties in a tent. Just a lot of hard work, blood sweat, tears, but most of all integrity and originality.

Seeing Castles posts, or young women, spending tens of pounds on Motivational Tat, and then arranging it on their desk with a picture perfect Latte is genuinely sad, knowing that they will never make it.

I do not see how these people sleep at night, it really is very depressing.

At times, i think we all lose sight, that behind all the noise, there are people losing money and beating themselves up for being inferior.

A cruel game.

Spongebobette · 20/01/2022 17:16

Well said

Castle is just rinsing money from young women who think they can have what she has if they buy her hoodies and pay to be in her special club

YouokHun · 20/01/2022 18:16

Sorry @Invasionofthegutsnatchers I meant it's on an antiMLM account going by the name of MLMShyster.
