Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

Last month was ok. Total of £800 (approx). Need to do it properly but I think my laptop is preparing for death! Really need to bite the bullet and get a new one.

Waiting to see if I get on Am. I do love it!

Rising up from the cupboard where I've been hiding myself for a few months/a year to get back into this properly! Hi to anyone that remembers me!

I've taken stock of all my debts and that has given me the kick I needed.

So I'm back, and hoping to earn £10/day.

I've been accepted onto Cr*sp so I just need to knuckle down with that, also have a few appen projects to look at (one off fees I think rather than regular), and now that I'm back in full time work I've got prolific open on the laptop.

Hoping for a good month for everyone.

What's the best place to start if I don't have a computer (iPhone only) but have lots of free evening time?

Any Amur people, when do the emails get sent out? I think I'm accepted onto the project for March but nothing has happened yet today.

@IrritableBitchSyndrome usually emails come overnight but you can sometimes see your jobs in the tool by late afternoon

Hello. Feb was very good for me, made a little over £1450 for the month my best month on Appen so far (really hammered poll*, still going on so hopefully get a bit more of it done before it finishes).

Not got much chance to get anything done today but I did Chey (on App) last night which was an easy one but took me ages to upload for some reason (not sure if it was my end on theirs!). And I've just qualified for Box so will see if any work comes.

Also got my fingers crossed for an Am** email tonight!

@Buster27 wow that's impressive. What project are on that gives you that much? Well done.

@Rad2016 Poll*k (a transcription one). I got onto the QA side of it too which helps. I'm also on Nle though so a few hundred will be from it.

Aww great. I failed the pllk assessment and I was gutted. I got accepted onto the N*le too then after a few days I was removed saying they don't need me anymore.

I can't get onto appen - getting weird error message, I looked on the old thread and saw that others are having the same issues. They're becoming a bit of a pain in the arse

@Buster27, congratulations, that's an awesome total!

@TheLolaMontez, keep trying - I couldn't get on over the weekend but today it's working fine again. Not sure what the issue is but it's not a permanent glitch

I tried last night and again today and still no luck, will try a different browser, fingers crossed!

I had an issue logging on to Appen too but found an incognito window worked.

Well done @Buster27. I got booted from Pol but I don't thinking I was earning much, I was so slow. I have to say, the chat were lovely. So helpful.

I'm still missing Bn from my invoice too. Might just put it through and get it next month as it wasn't that long.

I'm having to use an incognito window for Ap too. So frustrating. Potato seems to be back to its usual self today.

@seizethecuttlefish, how much are you earning roughly per hour on Potato?
Even with the £2 per hour 'shift bonus' I'm only making about £6 an hour at the moment

@Rad2016 I had the same on a different long term project (forgotten the name), really annoying!

The poll test was difficult I think, I suffered through a project with very similar guidelines a while ago so I had a bit of a head start.

I was on App* social where someone is saying that if you are on Chrome, "you can click the little lock symbol next to the left of the address on the url bar, select cookies, and delete them, that will only delete cookies for app*". Just tried and it seems to have worked here so I can quit going incognito. 🕶
