I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

My crisp dashboard has updated for yesterday but not Thursday Confused

Otterses · 01/06/2019 07:30

@justtheonethen mine neither. A lot of people's don't seem to have had. I sent an email to RA, but I guess we won't hear back till Monday.

Watching with interest. What’s the Cloudworkers thing about? How much does it pay? Asking for a friend of course Grin

Otterses · 01/06/2019 07:41

@FrontRowSeat

@Bbub is the best person to DM about this Smile I'm afraid I don't do it personally.

Checking in.

I've emailed Crisp about not updating Thursday and they said it should be hopefully showing by Monday.

WoWsers16 · 01/06/2019 07:50

Hello! I’m going to join if that’s ok! I am on some survey sites (schoolzone) and have made some good money by these- earning £50 this coming Tuesday for an hours survey yay.

However my saving today is with Vodafone- we ordered a new phone- I wanted blue but they sent black :( so off in to town I go to swap it- well after 4 Vodafone phone calls and 2 trips to the shop turns out they don’t do the phone I want in blue (even tho it took 6 people to talk too before I eventually got told) so 2 hours on phone/ in town wasted: complaint got me £5 credit for car parking, and then I said I’ll keep the black but want credit for a new phone case- then £35 put into account! So £40 earned today really! Yay xx

reddA · 01/06/2019 08:21

Happy June everybody :) Thanks for the new thread @Otterses, finished on around £350 with Crisp this month (including the missing 30th May).
Saw some of the earnings on the other thread - brilliant results! Well done everyone Cake

mydogisthebest · 01/06/2019 08:32

Does anyone know how long Take Note usually take to get back to you? I passed all the tests fine and then took the typing test but have not had my results.

The annoying thing is I was a legal secretary for nearly 30 years and still have a reasonable typing speed. I found having to keep stopping and starting the audio really awkward and distracting though and so not sure I did that well

0htooooodles · 01/06/2019 08:51

What date does crisp need invoicing? First proper month doing it. I saw something about the 10th? Do we still have the whole of next week to add to earnings?

Otterses · 01/06/2019 09:06

@0htooooodles you'll get a statement around the 10th which you then send to invoicing once you've checked it Smile

0htooooodles · 01/06/2019 09:14

@Otterses thanks! so still time to earn more 😁

reddA · 01/06/2019 09:56

@0htooooodles you get your statement for May but it takes them at least 10 days to generate them and add on any missing items (those still floating around) so any work you do from today onwards will go onto Junes statement

smurfmonkey · 01/06/2019 09:59

Thanks for the new thread @Otterses 🙂 I'm still plodding away in Crisp and also looking to change my bank account this month so hoping to get at least £100 ish for switching. I'm a complete bank account tart!

Jinglejanglefish · 01/06/2019 10:02

So I don't usually do this but just to let you all know I've earned £120 cashback in the last two days through Quidco. I got £70 for switching my phone contact (was near end of contract anyway) and £50 for signing up and spending £10 on gala bingo. Please please do not do this if you are prone to get addicted!

WhatIfIHadnt · 01/06/2019 11:30

Checking in - yes I did the £55 gala thing too but it tracked at £60!

CatHopeful · 01/06/2019 12:54

I passed the Crisp online test two weeks ago first time and have had an email stating I'll be added to their waiting list, that they get thousands of applications each month so there is likely to be a lengthy delay for work. I really hope I hear something from them soon as I'd like to give it a go.

margaritasbythesea · 01/06/2019 14:03

Thanks Otterses and well done on the new first post.

I am just doing Nile at the moment as I have a lot else on. Impressed by others' earnings on Respondent and Angelfish!

Bbub · 01/06/2019 15:47

@FrontRowSeat pm me if you want more info om Cloudworkers, but the pros are it's easy and quick to get started but the cons are it's not a great earner and it's boring having saucy chat with random men!

PollyShelby · 01/06/2019 15:47

@CatHopeful I think I waited just over two months before hearing from Crisp.

Otterses · 01/06/2019 17:02

@Bbub did you ever see that Channel 4 documentary about phone sex? There was a fabulous older lady on there who was chatting to a punter while painting her kitchen Grin

I really think you should apply to crisp from a new email account, just to see what happens.

OP posts:
BlackCatFan · 01/06/2019 17:23

@Bbub I can't pm on the app (at least I don't think I can) I'm waiting to start the cloudworkers training. I'm a bit worried with it being flirty chat that my DP might not be happy.. is it just an app or something that you use on your computer? I don't think it's something I'd consider normally but I just started a new job and I don't think it's going to work out, so I'm looking at possibly being unemployed for a month or so and need something to get by.
How much do you earn on average per week and how many hours do you do?
Do you get any messages that are really offensive that you have to reply to?
Thanks. x

BlackCatFan · 01/06/2019 17:24

Oh and I just applied for Appen so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

CatHopeful · 01/06/2019 17:59

@PollyShelby

Thanks, that's a useful reference.

BeeMyBaby · 01/06/2019 22:12

@mydogisthebest take note took about a week to reply to me I think. As long as you finished the audio in the time given it should be okay, they were much more lenient and reasonable than other transcription tests, and they get you started working really quickly, just make sure you have things like bitlocker and a firewall working in your computer if you use a pc, i faffed for a few days trying to get my computer safe enough for them.

GoodPlaceJanet · 01/06/2019 22:29

Hello all!

Lionbridge emailed me yesterday to ask me if I wanted to re-take the exam. I replied and said no (I've been accepted on an Appen project so can't anyway) and also I felt their exam, guidelines and preperation time were awful and the exam wasn't even relevant to what I'd applied for (exam was page rating and the post was safety evaluator). So I don't think I'll be hearing from them again Grin

Been accepted onto my first Appen project yay! Noyo, which I believe is short term but I figure I've a better chance with the other projects with a foot in the door?

Extra cash also from matched betting and surveys with Enlightly and Prolific.

Here's to a profitable June!
