I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

I'm sat here waiting for crisp to get back up and running. I submitted my final assignment of the year this afternoon so I'm now free to devote myself to money making until October 💃💃.
Managed to do around 400 on crisp last month. Hoping to hit 600 this month, starting as soon as it goes back online!
Another goal this month is to get into appen/lionsbridge cos at the minute my eggs are absolutely in one basket with crisp and I know this isn't wise.

WheelyCote · 03/06/2019 07:48

Morning!

You've all been very busy! Well done on your earnings Grin morekids well done on getting that final assignment in and Ottersees I know I couldn't found you all! but this is very lovely too Grin

Still waiting on Inari app tool to be added
I may give matched betting a go
Enlightly has been so sloooowwwwwwww
Haven't had chance to do anything with prolific, whilst away.

Anyone know any good english online learning sites????
. My grammer is shocking and ive picked up some bad habits. Thinking of going back to uni next year and want to do something useful, whilst waiting for these projects

Otterses · 03/06/2019 08:07

@morekidsthanhands it seemed to get sorted around 2-3am, but my dashboard still said 0 at 4am so I didn't bother Grin flitted in and out since 6 and I'm on £11ish. Love Island should make for a manic evening!

Still waiting on the work front, which is both frustrating and alright I guess somehow. The weather is meant to be crap this week, so it'll be a good chance to try to bump up my earnings while my time is still kind of my own. Incredibly anxious about nursery fees (DH is away a lot over the next two months, so if I start work and DS is in nursery I need money closer to the £2000 mark rather than my original £1350 target, so I can pay them to keep him till 6:30 when I can get home). So I really need to hit a decent chunk of that this month to avoid it going on the credit card.

morekidsthanhands · 03/06/2019 08:28

Oh yes! I'm not sure what I'm more excited for. Love island of the surge Haha. Love island is my guilty pleasure Blush. Try not to judge!

reddA · 03/06/2019 12:45

@anxiouswaiting I did the voice task on Appen this morning, I actually found it okay, hopefully it will be approved!

margaritasbythesea · 03/06/2019 12:55

Wheelycote - have you tried the grammarly app? I haven't but I think it looks good (English teacher here)

anxiouswaiting · 03/06/2019 16:54

@Wheelycote I second the suggestion of Grammarly, I added it on the advice of @BeeMyBaby when I failed one of the tests on Take Note, tried again and passed using Grammarly and it helped me see where I made silly mistakes.

@reddA oh hab, thank you for letting me know. I will give it a go then if it isn't another awful one! Fingers crossed they approve it for you.

I am excited today as I won a Facebook competition for a lovely dr4ess worth £45. I have a wedding reception to go to in a few weeks and was going to have to buy a dress but now that problem is solved, so very happy some pennies saved there!

Otterses · 03/06/2019 17:31

@anxiouswaiting Envy ... I shall say no more!

Are Facebook comps worth it? I may create a 'dummy' account for comping!

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 03/06/2019 18:07

@anxiouslywaiting I did the appen voice recognition task earlier today, once my internet behaved it was fine and took under two hours, hopefully it will be accepted.

anxiouswaiting · 03/06/2019 18:07

@Otterses in the past 6 months I have won the dress worth £45, some dummies worth £15, 2 tickets to London baby show, a christening shawl worth £75, a sensory baby playmat worth £90. Obviously I enter a lot more than I win but its not much effort as I am browsing through anyway.

The only issue I have is they often ask you to tag a friend which is fine if they just want 1 tag as I tag DH but if they want more than 1 person tagged I can't enter which is a pain as I don't have any friends or family who would appriciate being tagged in random competitions.

BeeMyBaby · 03/06/2019 18:08

just tagged a completely random user there, oops, my computer doesn't come up with the autocomplete for usernames.

Otterses · 03/06/2019 20:40

20 minutes till THE SURGE Grin ... hope you're all comfortable for Love Island.

OP posts:
AdaShelby · 03/06/2019 21:09

I'm expecting the surge at 10 once it ends Ottersea!

ChubRubTub · 03/06/2019 21:43

I'm just getting into matched betting, but can't see how people make decent money. Am I missing something?

I used my own money for the trigger bet, then got the free bet. The free bet lost, so I got the value of my stake from the lay bet. Overall i made around £10. Do people just place hundreds of bets?

justtheonethen · 03/06/2019 21:44

Loving Love Island, not loving the lack of slagging off on social media 🤣

justtheonethen · 03/06/2019 21:47

Spoke too soon, here they come 🤣

Otterses · 03/06/2019 21:49

@ChubRubTub once you build up your bank roll there are £100+ offers ie; Bet365, etc. Best to start with the low value ones so you can build up enough funds to maximise profit on the good offers Smile

OP posts:
Otterses · 03/06/2019 21:50

@justtheonethen I've had a few  😊 taking a break till 10.

@AdaShelby I seem to be losing all perception of time lately 😂

Hi All

New to the threads! Starting for June.

I've just signed up to Crisp but only got 17/20 Sademail says I need 19. When can I try again?

Where are the main places I should sign up? And how much time vs money do people get for each roughly each month?

TIA

Otterses · 03/06/2019 22:34

@LMW1990 I'd sign up for everything on the first post or the thread.

Earnings really vary to be honest, like Appen for example you get a set rate per hour, but crisp you may find some days you make £15 an hour, others you struggle to make £4.

OP posts:
reddA · 03/06/2019 22:38

@LMW1990 you can retake crisp straight away - keep going until you pass :)

I'm done for today, I've been on and off Crisp all day, couldn't bring myself to watch Love Island though Grin

Otterses · 03/06/2019 22:47

@reddA I surrender too! DS is sleeping in his toddler bed for the first time... and the escaping has just begun. Think I may be distracted for a few hours now Grin

Overall, £32 today. Plus my surge doesn't seem to have been added on!

namechangedforanon · 03/06/2019 23:16

I've been doing well on cashback just had £80 track for my holiday I went on a week or so ago - Expedia push the payments quite quickly .

Honestly seems to be my biggest earner at the moment 🤣 obviously only spending money I need to spend of course

Respondent had been great for me but now it's very quiet - anyone else ??

Re matched betting - once the sign up offers are over you need to join the facebook groups where all the big matched betters are ! They share all the offers and what they are doing . People are making a lot . To be honest I'm far too lazy for it .
Did some low risk casino but meh it's exhausting .

Grandcentralstation · 03/06/2019 23:24

Hi all! These look promising. Will investigate tomorrow when I’m more awake :)

anxiouswaiting · 03/06/2019 23:57

Just finished my Inari-C task for the day, seemed quite easy so I hope I was doing it right!

Also done the Appen Vice ratings and pleasantly surprised, didn't take as long as they said, very simple. initially thought the pay for the job was a bit stingy but actually considering it didn't even take 2 hours in the end I am very happy with it. Hopefully it will pass quality checks but can't see why it wouldn't as it is very subjective.
