The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

Thank you for the new thread Twenty

WhatNow40 · 31/01/2019 21:54

Placemarking - I avidly follow but rarely comment. As you were!

acatcalledjohn · 31/01/2019 22:35

Thanks for the new thread! I've not actively participated for some time, but I do still keep up with the threads. Then again, my two bots stopped botting (thank fuck). However, I have recently acquired a new bot and I'm really rather surprised she's been taken in by it all. She seems to think she owns a little book business, when in reality she is flogging Usborne Books.

She's a head teacher Shock

I suppose the one thing you don't get with them is false medical claims, but that's where the positives end.

Johnluthersvolvo · 31/01/2019 22:59

I hate the temptation of MLM. I am in a slightly tight financial situation and I am dealing with it by looking at reducing my out goings, matched betting and a possible second job. When I see MLM bots with their range rovers it is hard not to wonder what if.... I am smarter than that tho.

cozietoesie · 01/02/2019 00:56

Thanks, Twenty.

SSDGM · 01/02/2019 05:47

I’ve been added to a crypto currency group for Bux Coin (already exposed by Oz as a ponzi) by a very new mum I know. Here we go!

Hunbot · 01/02/2019 06:00

Shipley if 'can't get a mortgage' bot didn't want to pay a solicitor as she has pulled out of the sale then she should have gone for a no sale no fee solicitor. Plenty exist although they would still be charged for disbursements. Bit rich (or not) of her to call out a solicitor for sticking to the terms of agreement she signed.

Spongebobette · 01/02/2019 07:09

Thanks @twentytwenty

DownThePan · 01/02/2019 08:31

@Hunbot It's a strange person that expects a solicitor to do a load of work for them and not get paid. Did they get lots of supportive comments from other Huns?

acatcalledjohn · 01/02/2019 09:02

Bit rich (or not) of her to call out a solicitor for sticking to the terms of agreement she signed.

Usual entitled behaviour that is so prevalent amongst bots.

Whiterangey · 01/02/2019 09:14

Probably expected to pay the solicitor in product.

FleeBee · 01/02/2019 09:36

Signing in. My bots have gone v quiet. Is the end in sight?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 01/02/2019 10:11

Broke's ex is selling an absolute mountain of stock from all sorts of MLMs. I'm sure she's done this before. Will she ever learn?!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/02/2019 10:20

Broke himself is warning people not to get tricked into pyramid schemes.

Twenty - thank you so much for a new thread ❤️

BangingOn · 01/02/2019 11:49

Thanks for the new thread Twenty

Uber and BFF have both posted screenshots of their Chairman’s Bonus emails- Uber has qualified at level 3 but BFF hasn’t shown that part of her email. Nothing from Yawn on her business page yet (I am blocked from her personal page).

ArbunneHun · 01/02/2019 11:51

Oh, MLMs on LinkedIn are so tiresome. I spotted an Isagenix hun inviting people to register their interest in a weight loss system and then clearling collecting their data.

I’ve posted asking her to clarify her GDPR policy and to share the details of her mandatory appointed Data Protection Officer. I’ve also posted a criticism of the pyramid-like qualities of Isagenix.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/02/2019 12:12

@BangingOn - I'm also blocked from Yawn's personal page, despite never having had any interaction of any kind with her.

My trusty bot-stalking alt-account isn't though, and there is no mention of CB.

How soul destroying to have to travel to other country to pretend you're excited about others parading around with large cheques when you're getting FA...

Johnluthersvolvo Just keep reminding yourself that you don't know what is going on behind the facade of the white range rovers. Yes, one may be in the lucky 1% that makes money from MLM (unlikely), a couple might be able to afford the car but be fudging where the income is actually from (wealthy family, inheritance etc) and some might be in a tighter financial situation than you but going into debt trying to hide it...

DownThePan · 01/02/2019 13:24

What excuses are being offered this year for lack of bonus cheques?

BangingOn · 01/02/2019 13:28

Nice stealth stalking Twenty. Not like Yawn to miss an opportunity to boast, unless she’s playing us all...

DownThePan · 01/02/2019 13:30

@BangingOn She would have definitely been shouting all about it if she's qualified for the bonus

9dartfinish2nd · 01/02/2019 14:06

Just read Tired Dave's last few posts on FB, Get's more and more heartbreaking to see his marriage and clearly Dave himself under such a strain. Even people in the the comments are telling him to divorce his MLM addict wife now.

BangingOn · 01/02/2019 14:16

Down I hope you’re right

BangingOn · 01/02/2019 14:18

9Dart I’ve just found his page, it is so sad.
