The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

Twenty I hope things are easier for you and the kids now and that she finally sees the light, for her sake if nothing else.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/02/2019 19:50

My thought also @BangingOn, but what a bloody waste.

That sums up pretty much everything about MLMs.

Thanks for new thread, I'll be lurking here 😁 x

No cheque for BFF! She had quite a large cheque last year, didn’t she?

How about Castle and Welsh Upline?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/02/2019 21:42

Nothing from Castle & siblings so far, nor for Welsh upline...

twentytwenty I've read your story before, I'm so sorry it has come to this. I hope you and your kids can have a good future together.

I have a friend who's sucked into Juice +. She's a total hun, spamming FB all day every day and also sent a round robin via WhatsApp requesting that could I like and share her business posts. I never replied Blush. I have a small business myself, it is going quite well and I maintain a FB and IG presence too but I never ask anyone to share or like my posts. I don't even share them myself, I like to keep my personal page and business page separate. But the difference is that I don't need to fish local customers as my customer base is international whereas my friend essentially needs to reel in all the local school mums.

The thing is that this friend has a good heart but she's not someone I'd describe a critical thinker, she's always been into all sorts of fads and she has a well earning husband who will do anything for her so I can see her being easily brainwashed and pouring everything into this Juice + sham as her DH won't say one critical word against it (even if she spends vast amount on silly shakes and whatnot)

JaniceBattersby · 02/02/2019 00:06

I’m so sorry about your marriage Twenty. I’m sure it doesn’t feel like it right now but it’s for the best and at least you can offer your kids some aloe free time.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 02/02/2019 09:00

I'm sorry that it's come to this twentytwenty. It goes to show the power that brainwashing MLMs can have over an individual.

Do you think she'll ever wake up to the reality of what's happened?

Spongebobette · 02/02/2019 09:19

Thank you Dora

And presumably the amounts on the cheques are related to the success of the business in the UK?

Paddy1234 · 02/02/2019 09:39

Just reading through a rant by Welshie about Windows.
What astounds me most of all is her absolute put down of her husband 'I paid for them, I am the customer'
Waiting for the next company accounts of this young lady ..........

Whiterangey · 02/02/2019 10:17

I'm guessing she was told that with wooden windows there would be some issues that would need special care and may need some adjustments.

Since they put expanding foam there I'm guessing that now he can't do anything about it as the foam would need to be removed which I'm guessing i isn't easy and not his responsibility.

I doubt blame him for giving up on them after the way she's treated him. I would tell them where to go as well.

He likely explained that eating the windows once they are fitted was their responsibility.

The expanding foam looks awful, they will have to pay someone to make that right if it hasn't already wrecked the windows.

I've personally never had a problem with a workman in my life, politeness and asking nicely gets you a lot further than being a condescending cow.

Spongebobette · 02/02/2019 11:00

They were very very stupid putting expanding foam in there, particularly if they are saying the job wasn’t finished.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/02/2019 12:08

I detect a similar sense of entitlement in most 'senior' bots.

I think the slavish mindless adulation from their deluded minions makes them believe they are actually special somehow.

BFF could still have a cheque though as a 2.5k qualifier couldn't she? And if she does then Yawn could too. It might be a big ruse at our expense!

Last year Yawn didn't get a cheque because she didn't have enough new business - BFF getting a cheque and being in her downline means this is the only plausible reason she didn't.

If BFF genuinely hasn't got CB this then Yawn is completely scuppered as she is the prop that holds Yawn's business up.

Whiterangey · 02/02/2019 12:42

The window fitter has posted his version of events.

Looks like all of Welshbots problems with the windows are her own fault.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/02/2019 12:55

Just read it - ouch! Wonder how long before she deletes it?

OP posts:
Whiterangey · 02/02/2019 13:13

I'm also wondering how much it will cost her to put right the damage they have caused.

The expanding foam is unlikely to be cheap to sort out. If she can find anyone to do it given that the window fitter said that she pissed off everyone who worked in the barn. Word gets around about terrible customers and other tradesmen may refuse to work for her.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2019 13:36

Or only work at a premium? And for upfront payment? Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/02/2019 13:52

Because she got lucky in a pyramid scheme, she actually believes that this makes her an expert project manager.

By all accounts the unraveling of the 'dream home' is down to her refusing to listen to tradesmens' advice, believing she knows better than them, and making decisions on whims rather than rational planning and expert knowledge.

She seems to believe that just by stamping her feet, she will make things work out the way she wants. Classic 'Law of Attraction' bollocks on display here.

Also nothing is her fault, it's someone else's.

You can see that the work the fitter does is amazing. Common sense would tell you that fitting windows to what was a totally unfinished building may cause problems. Instead of calling him back they used the foam. She hasn't got a legal leg to stand on if she tried to take legal action, especially after the foam.

It makes beer sick she is trying to wreck his good name and his business by spreading her crap around.
