Upsetting so many people doesn't help with their next election, does it ?

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:14

No it doesn't but they have 5 years still. I think they should think of the amount of money you are saving the state by providing 24 hour care for your child, think how much they would have to pay a night nurse I don't see how thry can say you are wrong for having help from ex a couple of nights a week so you can sleep!

I got my docs back saying you will here soon then 3 weeks later a letter asking for more info so getting you're docs back isn't a guarantee they won't ask for more ????

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:19

Hopefully Scousejo they have plenty from me there is nothing else I can give to confirm employment and hours, they have all my payslips for a year and p60, my contract plus two letters one from 2013,to me and one I had done for them on the 5th to confirm my working hours so nothing else I can give

Has anyone had there documents scanned on the system after they was signed for on the 8th of june yet ??

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:27

Zolabud81 I haven't heard of anyone having them on system with that date, apparently today they were up to scanning documents received on 3rd of June. Mine were signed for on the 5th and when I spoke to them on Friday still wasn't on there

12fedup, unfortunately we don't get paid for looking after our own kids in this country. Instead I go out work jogging between commitments.

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:30

Exactly singlemum and your situation is harder than most because of your child's complexe needs, my son has asd and ADHD but his care needs are no where near those of your child.

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:33

Dirty singlemum that was meant for stresshead!
Still agree with you, and in your case it must be on the system somewhere that he us your son

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 18:41

U would thought so, 12fedup, I did spoke to a guy over the phone when I first got the letter. He says their computer very sensitive will pick up any household registered with two adults.

ShazP76 · 22/06/2015 18:41

I rang this morning, couldn't get through so had to give up as had to go to work. Tried after work and was in hold for over an hour, so hung up again. Why say their is a 20 minute wait on phone calls if it is over 3 times longer!

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:44

Who knows Shaz nothing makes sense, wonder if you would get through quicker after 7 as people getting dinners done or getting children ready for bed might not be so busy. Over wise phone up at exactly 8am

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:46

Don't get it singlemum cause you must have had child benefit for him so surely his birth certificate must be on the system somewhere they should be able to access that!

emilou123 · 22/06/2015 18:47

Yep Cameron targetting child tax credits. I have suddenly lost the will......CHILD tax credits!!!!!! What on earth is going on?

Scousejo1967 · 22/06/2015 18:53

I sent print screens of my bank statements and it contains exactly the same information but they want duplicate statements as I bank online had to go the library 20 p per sheet for years supply and then they got lost even tho it ea records delivery so had to do it again and send special delivery

stresshead99 · 22/06/2015 18:54

Thank you for your support ladies. I do try to see the bigger picture and I think the people making the decisions are just people, on a crap wage, hanging onto their jobs so they don't have to claim so much in tax credits! Most of them probably hate what they do, their training is probably minimal and they are not qualified in matters of law, welfare or mental health. Can you imagine working there, making these decisions and wrecking peoples lives? Glad it's not me. I do have obligations to my child, I had him but it is very hard. Where I live support care is very limited as the health authority is broke, ironically, if I was unemployed I would get free support, so it would cost a fortune to the government to provide round the clock care for my child. I do need to sleep, sometimes, I would collapse otherwise. I weigh about 7stone 6lbs as it is and all this is making me worse. I could tell my ex not to stay but I fear I could not cope alone. Mr Cameron had a disabled child and I'm sure without the help of nannies, nurses and wealth he would have struggled too! This Government, I fear,t is only for the working wealthy, the rest of us can go rot.

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 18:56

Me neither, 12fed up. Anyway I sent them what they ask for by recorded delivery, cost me over 8 quid. Can we get refund on that, u think ?

Scousejo1967 · 22/06/2015 18:58

Hmrc gave me it back after I complained singled mum

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 18:59

Well said, stresshead.

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:59

Scousejo was it Royal Mail who lost your documents or concentrix, if it was Royal Mail have you contacted them to find out what has happened to it and see if they can give you some form of compensation

Stresshead you are right and totally agree with everything you said

Morgan97 · 22/06/2015 20:16

It makes sad that since this I posted this morning there's three more pages of posts. Has any one had any good news today I need cheering up. I've had a strange email from hrmc thanking me for my application for a claim form but apparently I'm already claiming tax credits!! Must be my evil twin cos its not me. So yes they do tell lies not only on the phone but in letters and emails too

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 20:23

That's strange Morgan I didn't think they sent emails? Phone them in the morning and ask what's going on

12fedup we are date buddies as mine was signed for on 5th too! When I rang last week the woman said she could give "no timeframe". I said I'd be making a complaint then as "no timeframe" was hopeless. So she then said they were taking about three weeks post receipt to scan them on and hoped then to have my documents considered by 31st July.
