It makes me soon mad. We have no idea what's going on because we can't get hold of them! I tried ringing at 8. Holding on for twenty or so mins but I then had to go to work. What is the best option to select when ringing? I returned mine on the 5th June so reading this it might get looked at soon!!!

There s an article in paper says that Cameron singles out tax credits for cuts, it will affect 3.7 million low income families who would lose £1400 a year...

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 16:56

Cazzy by the looks of it ours should be done this week I returned most items by special delivery on 4th and signed for on the 5th, I posted 2 further letters with evidence first class on the 5th so should of been delivered on the 6th. By the sounds of it should be on the system this week, I think it could be by Wednesday but am trying not to call till Friday if I can stand waiting lol

Single mum I saw something on sky news earlier about that

cazzymog · 22/06/2015 17:03

Thanks fedup. I'll let you know if I hear back and you do the same! The letter tells you ten days to return paper work the recorded message on option two tells you to wait 28 days. Guess I'll just wait till the end of the week too. So frustrating that you can't find anything out! !!

babyalan13 · 22/06/2015 17:04

Seen that all over Facebook I think we may end up all being screwed if he gets his way!!

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 17:08

Does anyone know there are anti austerity rallies around the country at weekend ? It's reported more than 250,000 people turned up. Do they know there are millions of people behind those protesters ? The Torys are playing with people's lives...

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 17:08

Cazzy as soon as I know anything I will post on here ASAP. Makes me so mad that letter says and it well over that think they need to change that ASAP cos it makes us worry even more about where are documents are! I think they have some sort of text service which sends a message as soon as documents have been uploaded would cut down on the number of people phoning if we were getting updates via text

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 17:10

Should of read I think they should have some sort of text service

MPs had 10% increase as soon as the election was over, the ax fell on us at the bottom as soon as the election was over...

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 17:19

I agree with u 12fedup, they should have some sort of system allowing people to check their case progress.

stresshead99 · 22/06/2015 17:20

ladies, I got my documents back today with a note saying a decision will follow shortly about my tax credit claim. My letter is dated June 6th so God only knows where it's been hiding for 16 days. I'm still too stressed to ring up. Morgan, Babyalan, is this a good or bad sign? My final date was June 20th, same as baby but they must have looked at it much sooner. My payment is due tomorrow so fingers crossed for me

cazzymog · 22/06/2015 17:21

Yes text service would benefit them and us like you say. They forget we are real people not just numbers and paper work. I'm so mad right now!!!!! Grrr

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 17:30

Try phoning them stresshead and see what they say, what was your check for again? When did they receive your documents?

OP posts:
cazzymog · 22/06/2015 17:31

What I don't understand is the "top up money(tax credits /housing benefit ) " is only made up with what the government say we need to live on. So we suddenly don't need £1400 a year? ??!!!!!

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 17:31

They change things to suit themselves

babyalan13 · 22/06/2015 17:42

Stress head yours must of been looked at pretty quick aye me and you had the same deadline date. When did they receive your documents. I think you should phone them because if letter dated 6th June then really they should of made their decision

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 17:44

I only sent off mine on 8 June, looks like a long wait .

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 17:46

What was your check for single mum? Did you sent your documents signed for? Apparently someone who spoke to them this morning was told they are upto 3rd of June

OP posts:
Scousejo1967 · 22/06/2015 17:58

To send my again special delivery cost me £7.50 mine been going on since they signed abd scanned my docs on 5 th may sent me letter 7 th June asking for originals of bank statements so they took 4 weeks from scanning to even look at my case . The girl told me this morning they are looking at cases up to 3 rd June .

stresshead99 · 22/06/2015 18:00

I sent what documents i had May 22nd, I rang May 26th, I sent my docs 1st class only and only what I could find, not everything they required. I explained my child was very ill and my x stayed a few nights because I can not stay up 24/7 and go to work. My child has complex medical needs and is fed through out the night. The pump alarms several times a night for food change, water flush or simply because it's blocked and the food can't through. I did not even try to deny my x helped out. How could any one work full time and literally stay up all night? However, my letter is dated 6th June and arrived today. They must post in batches every 2 weeks, I think. But when will I get my decision????

Singlemum123 · 22/06/2015 18:00

12fedup, my son left home but his posts still come to my house so on their system, I have another adults living with me. I m hassled like everyone else, feel like a criminal.

Scousejo1967 · 22/06/2015 18:03

Just to depress everyone even more on news now big changes coming to tax credits as he shaves billions of the welfare bill ?!!!!!!??!!!!!

12fedup12 · 22/06/2015 18:07

Stresshead I think they sent the mail batches and no daily that would explain why it takes so long from date on the letter to getting documents back, it's probably the same with the decision letters, phone them up and ask for an update.
Singlemum it is madness, I am so fed up of feeling stressed I have actually lost 5lbs in weight in the past two weeks!
