Please post your experiance from concentrix here, including how long it took for documents to go on system, how long to get documents, the time scale from start to finish (case closed) and what the outcome was

I had a childcare letter, again. 3rd year in a row I've been checked, so I know my numbers are immaculate. I didn't have all the invoices they wanted so I asked my preschool to write out a statement for me. I hope they will accept that.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 19:31

What was date on your letter and when is your deadline, have you returned your documents yet

Do you know 12fed up I've been worrying about the working hours thing cos I've done the extra odd day here n there nothing to make a huge difference though

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 19:33

Oh yes baby just hope it's right, have you been told that by anyone? Hope you had good time today and managed to take your mind of it x

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 19:35

Morgan I don't think doing the odd bit of overtime matters as long as you are working at least 16 hours a week

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 20:07

I think as long as there is no difference of 2500 in the year. It shouldn't make a difference. But if you do over or under 30 hours they definitely want to no that!! It was ok my mum wants me to get anti depressants tomarrow when am at the doctor!! I doubt they would make any difference to my mood!!!

babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 20:08

Aye I heard the employment check is straight forward. Hmrc man told me that!!

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:10

Maybe ask your doctor might help but not sure, would anti depressants help for high levels of stress and anxiety.

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:14

Good not just me who was told that and it was concentrix who told me so they are both saying checks on hours are straight forward, we will just have to keep everything crossed now then that since ours our straightforward that they are the ones they do more or less as soon as document scanned.
has anyone else having the working hours checked been told same as me and baby? and was it relatively quick compared to the other types of checks?

babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 20:17

Here's hoping!! Aww I don't no what she can give me. She give me diaspan on Wednesday. My levels of stress and anxiety are through the roof. But unfortunately I think depression is kicking in. I provide for my whole family the 6 of us. I couldn't bear it if I couldn't provide anymore. Am very ocd to! About things!!!!

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:24

I am so glad we have each other to talk to about it,I know how you feel our families depend on us. Glad I ain't the only who is so ocd about this, trouble is I get fixed on things when kicks in and boy has it kicked in big time!
Hope the doctor can do something to help, my stress has been through the roof today think it's cause been indoors all day so had nothing to take my mind off it. Sending you big hugs xx

12fed i was also told by concentrix the same, that the working hours ones are usualy done within a few days of going on the system as they are the quickest to do so the caseworkers for that section are getting through them faster once on system. My deadline is 5th of July so i am going to ring around the 1st of July as i was told by hmrc my renewal (which i did over the phone) should be done at the end of concentrix check. It really stressfull as even though im doing nothing wrong im dreaming about this thing and now the cars playing up and down want to use what we have saved to fix it incase we get money stopped. Its all cosuming

shazzarooney99 · 21/06/2015 20:47

Mines was checking my hours i work for an agency and they change all the time,as does my rate of pay.

babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 20:47

It really is!! I had to pay for that meal today which nearly killed me! Put all the change in my saving box! Cause I really want to have enough for hoildays. I've to save all my wages next week so really relying on tax credits. Really my documents should be signed on this week. So definitely phoning next week. I was convinced tax credits were under paying me! Cause I didn't tell them about maternity. But obviously they wouldn't do the check if that was the case! They must think they have over paid! Dreading Wednesday!!! Tax credit payment day! Cause my deadline was yesterday. Convinced myself they will stop

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:52

Efergie this is starting to make me feel a bit better that 3 of us have all been told the same thing about the hours check, here's hoping ours are all resolved around the same time.
It's silly they have got us all this stressed when we have been honest. I am scared to spend money and my oldest ds has a trip to France on 9th of July with school and needs spending and then going away for the week with parents as he finish school a week before my youngest and me so needs money for that. Hope it's done by then if our checks are the quickest!
what info did you sent and when was it signed for? Mine was signed for on 5th of June also sent two additional letters first class on the 5th so they should have hopefully got them on the 6th of June. My deadline is 3rd of July.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:55

Shazz hopefully yours will be done quick as long as you work over the required hours you should be fine, when did they get your documents and when's your deadline?

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 20:59

Baby I think really mine should be on system sometime this week also think I will phone Friday and check it unless I get my documents back before then but that's doubtful, it's a bit more positive as efergie has been told also that hours checks are the quickest and caseworkers for our checks our getting them done quicker fingers crossed we all have postive news very soon

efergie82 · 21/06/2015 21:09

I got told to send OH wage slips for 12 months and contract but he didnt have contract so i rang and they said as long as wage slips show hourly rate and total wage they will work it out, i panicked at first as he only does 22 hrs one week and 26.5 the next so was told originally to say 25 (by hmrc) but the guy at concentrix said that was fine, i got the letter on the 4th and sent them that day signed for, they got them on the 5th of June, got through monday and still not on the system but was told should be by end of next week

jonny82 · 21/06/2015 21:14

We are having the employment check. Got a letter on 4th June sent 9th June special delivery signed for on 10th june. It had asked for full year bank statements but when I called to say we need to order these they said just send in years payslips and a letter from employer stating hours and rate of pay. Payroll confirmed in a letter working 40 hours etc ,tax credits had down as 31 but they said as long as work 30 at least then that's fine. So we sent the letter , years payslips and also the p60 even though they didn't ask for it.

Also we are under by yearly income for renewal by a few hundred pound as stated on p60 due to maternity pay.

The real time info is supposed to stop all this hassle I thought but there you go, our deadline is 2nd July but signed for on 10th june with tracking number given , each time I have called I have taken names etc .

They can't stop payments when they have the proof its been delivered can they ? It's so annoying knowing that if anything they owe us money as we under by our estimate on our renewal.

They also did our renewal on the phone too.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 21:16

We are on the same time line mine were also signed for on the 5th, hopefully ours should be done within a day or so of each other. I think I might have sent too much then I sent a years payslip but don't detail hours, p60, my contract from when I first started working there in 2011 a letter from 2013 to me which was basicly an amendment to the hours in my contracts a letter from work dated 5th of June to confirm how many hours I work a week which backs up the letter test amended that section of my contract.
My wage slip doesn't show an hourly pay rate as I am on an annual salary but that is on my documents and I'm sure I'm not the only who is on a annual salary.

efergie82 · 21/06/2015 21:18

jonny when i rung and gave them thhe tracking number they put it on record and said that this was all they need to prove you have sent the documents in before deadline.

efergie82 · 21/06/2015 21:20

12 fed next they are going to want our mesurements and photos of bowel movements, its madness

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 21:20

No I have been told all along that payments won't stop if we have tracking number and it was signed for as the delay is there end. Joel often have you been phoning. I thought that about the real time info as well they know what we get paid so ask for payslips etc should have just asked for something confirming our working hours

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 21:21

Should have said how often not Joel often.... Lol

Exactly efergie maybe we should start keeping track!

OP posts:
jonny82 · 21/06/2015 21:29

Every few days lol.

And I have no shame in saying that as its there problem they are behind not mine.

My calendar has about 10 names on lol of who I have spoken too etc.

I find them fine on the phone but have had a few who seem to not take it with any seriousness at all.

I don't know if its them themselves what do the check or somewhere else ?
