Well morgan I hope when you finally get it sorted you get all you are owed backdated and go an treat your self! !! Baby like you I had the employment letter and had to send bank statements and now wonder if we didn't need to! ! All these odd dates on letters too. According to my letter I actually received it before they actually sent it! Received on the 3rd June but dated the 5th. I'm yet to speak to them as I give up waiting. But am planning to Monday morning.

ddigital · 21/06/2015 01:13

I received my letter end of may dated 5th of June as well...

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 06:47

Hi digital when did they get your documents? Have you spoken to them, when is your deadline

ShazP76 · 21/06/2015 07:25

I had the letter about childcare costs in May and have been following this thread since. I sent my documents back 26th May and received them back on Friday with a letter dated 5th June. Hope it's not going to be long to finish now as this is very stressful

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 07:34

I agree shaz, I am feeling so worried, even though everything is correct and all information I have sent them matches what is my declaration form cant help worrying because of the wording. I am wondering if dates on the letters you are getting with returned documents are genuine dates they scanned and sent back or if it is actually the date it should have been done by if they hadnt of had a backlog! Maybe you should ring for an update in the morning.
Just hope I get my documents back soon as so worried about them going missing. What was your check for?

Well on the 25th May I processed tribunal claim. It is alleged that my mortgage payment is far too low to be a mortgage and therefore they require my rent agreement. I don't know how many times I have told them I don't pay rent. There is no rent to pay. I pay a mortgage that is in my name. I have sent them the most recent mortgage statement but.....well it is what it is. There is another joint mortgage name on this ortgage and has been since 2004. Happy with that for the first 3 investigations but refusing to accept it this time. It is with regret that I will be moving back to my Dad's at the beginning of the summer holidays. I have unpaid bills because I chose to feed my children first. So with agreement from the joint mortgage holder the house will be let for 6 months to stop a default on the mortgage.
I left a Domestic Violence situation with 3 small children, we can't use CSA as they admitted they would give my ex husband my new name and address despite a court issued no contact order. So I only have what I can earn and for the majority of the time I have done amazingly well to give my children a stable home. They are beautiful well adjusted children. It could have been so different. I am now in debt, maxed out credit cards, I haven't eaten properly for weeks and I am at breaking point. I need to leave. I can't run a house on my own. I feel as though the fight was all for nothing. In some ways my ex husband is being proven right....he always said I would never be able to do it on my own. Thank you HMRC, for winding my life back 10 years.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 07:38

Stupid me just read childcare lol

Hopefully once mine on system will be quick as it is very straight forward really only need to check letter that confirms my working hours and my p60 for income earned last year.Even though they all ready got my earnings for last year direct from my employer!

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 07:42

Oh no jgrn how can they do that when you havw provided mortgage statements! Have you sought legal advice I'm sure you would have a claim against them. Was it concentrix who look at yours or hmrc. I hope everything turns out ok but if you haven't already then think you need to seek legal advice

ShazP76 · 21/06/2015 08:06

I have no idea on the dating, it seems very strange that it takes 2 weeks for their post to get to us and not very believable. I am to scared to ring as I panic that they will be snotty, I rang hmrc last year when my renewal went missing and some of their staff were horrid and even though they knew it was them who had misplaced they made out I was to blame.

jgrn7030 · 21/06/2015 08:06

It was HMRC. And I do have legal advice. I was going to give up and find a way of paying it back by getting a 2nd and 3rd job. But my mental health is collapsing and if I get more jobs I am in catch 22 situation. HMRC will take any extra money I earn so I won't be any better off

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:08

I really feel for you jgrn, I will be thinking of you and hoping you get a positive outcome in the near future maybe you should talk to Morgan she is also have a hard time could give each other a lot of support.

Shaz dont be worried to phone I have called everyday since they signed for my documents cause I am so worried about them going missing as never made copies of anything, they have been ok with me, I am going to hold off phoning now though, I don't know whether to phone again Friday or wait till my deadline on 3rd of July.
Try to phone at exactly 8am and select option 4, when is your deadline?

OP posts:
ShazP76 · 21/06/2015 08:13

Deadline was the 18th June, so it has already gone

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:15

Give them a call first thing and ask for an update, I would

OP posts:
ShazP76 · 21/06/2015 08:20

Thanks I will. Hope yours is all sorted soon too.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:24

Thank you, I am keeping everything crossed, keep us updated on what happens with yours, hope you get good news when you call.

Yes I agree best to phone. I've found concentrix and hmrc a few times the past couple of years and found them grand. Listened to me and spoke nicely. I would tell them everything you have told us. Apparently if you mention domestic violence they apparently are trained to listen. I read that to with all my research! But defently phone for an update

babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 08:40

Weeks was meant to write!!

jgrn7030 · 21/06/2015 08:48

They already have this information Babyalan13. Including the child protection issue surrounding it. In fact they have also attacked the fact that my children have different names to the names they had when they were born. It states that in the failed Mandatory Reconsideration letter. Not been a problem in the previous 3 investigations. They know all this but it was clear that despite them being referred to previous notes those notes were not read. They also denied that previous appeals had been won.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:49

Morning baby, how are you feeling this morning

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:51

Jgrn have you tried getting your mp involved?

OP posts:
jgrn7030 · 21/06/2015 08:53

I did. But his assistance was very limited. He is Conservative. I wasn't expecting very much help from him to be fair. They did tell him I was to have a penalty applied but I haven't heard anything from HMRC. Thing is if they have "evidence" why are they not prosecuting? Fraud is a criminal offence.

12fedup12 · 21/06/2015 08:56

They are probably hoping you will give up and obviously haven't got anything. I will be keeping you and morgan in thoughts and hoping you both get a postive out come very soon

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 21/06/2015 09:07

Aww these things just seem to be getting worse. The mess they are causing is unbelievable. Am so so today's its fathers day so taking my husband and dad out for a meal which isn't great for my anxiety or money situation!!

Morgan97 · 21/06/2015 09:09

Jgrn what an awful situation,I too had my money stopped on 26th march this year an have been fighting hrmc since then.sent my appeal off last Monday, things have changed for me slightly as I've been offered a new house which I've accepted, rang hrmc to tell them as I've made a new claim but they're not interested in NOW just THEN. Have you got your mp involved? Be proud of yourself for what you've already done as you say you have 3 beautiful well adjusted children who must be a credit to you. By moving back to your dads it will give you some breathing space. I feel like giving up sometimes and leaving my job but until I've gone through every single avenue with this I will keep on fighting. Yes I'm tired of struggling tired of worrying but they won't beat me ...not yet anyway
