Please post your experiance from concentrix here, including how long it took for documents to go on system, how long to get documents, the time scale from start to finish (case closed) and what the outcome was

The last straw. I,m waiting for my docs to be returned, they said they sent them two weeks ago. Got back this evening, letter from concentrix...please find enclosed your returned documents....what was in there? My letter of complaint that I sent them last month, nothing else. Plus no reply to the complaint letter. Too late to phone now. Wondering where the hell all my docs are. Are they taking the pee or are they seriously that incompetent!!

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 20:05

Omg!!! That's crazy! They obviously haven't a clue! They probably haven't even took on your complaint if they have returned it! So strange

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:07

Omg how can they do that, this is why I have been phoning nearly everyday cause I am so anxious about my personal documents going missing which is what I have said to them every time I have called. Did you send your documents by registered post or first class? If you sent them registered they told me they return by same method can they provide you with the tracking number?

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:08

When did you sent complaint and did you sent to lancing or Belfast?

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:11

Sorry just read was last month was going to say I find that strange because of backlog, is there a date on the letter that says they are returning your documents and is it dated before or after they said they had sent all the information you send them back to you?

OP posts:
emilou123 · 20/06/2015 20:18

I sent the complaint with my original docs to lancing. The letter I got today was dated 5 June! I sent all my docs special delivery to them. The letter today was sent normal post but there was only my complaint letter in it!!!! They closed my case last saturday when I phoned them so the nightmare had come to an end for me but now this.

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:21

So where the hell are your documents if it was all in the same envelope when you sent them? What was complaint about? Don you mind if I ask what timescale was from them signing for your documents to case being closed? You need to escalate complaint phone first thing Monday and demand to speak to a manager!

OP posts:
emilou123 · 20/06/2015 20:22

When I phoned last saturday they said they had already sent my docs back to me at the start of the week, so the date was right 5 June, but has taken two weeks to get to me, and without my docs in!!

emilou123 · 20/06/2015 20:33

My deadline was 12 june. My docs were signed for on 27 May. I phoned on 13 June and was given a decision over the phone. My complaint was over their refusal to give me info on who I am supposedly living with, their unprofessionalism..system down all the time etc etc, plus the cost of sending all of the docs when they obviously have no grounds for their accusation!!

emilou123 · 20/06/2015 20:36

I don,t know if I have previously mentioned....they were accusing me of living in partnership with myself...they had my married name and maiden name, same forenames obviously, you would have thought they could have run a simple check!

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:40

What a joke. Bet they didn't even log complaint as dont want any complaints on their books. Maybe you should call hmrc

OP posts:
emilou123 · 20/06/2015 20:47

I did send a copy of the complaint to HMRC too but have had no reply. I sent off a further complaint this week, straight to HMRC and demanded compensation for my costts, with copies of receipts as my case could have been resolved with two documents. I don,t know if you have read the HMRC charter but Concentrix are certainly not abiding by it!

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 20:50

Concentrix are in over their heads and can't cope with the workload but keep sending more and more letters and aren't even checking what they put on these before sending, I hope someone takes your complaint seriously.

My dd comes first she has no one but me and I can't let her down. Feel very alone in all this sometimes, made a beaut friend through this thread and her along with all of you have helped me to cope so thank you for your amazing support.

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 22:01

Morgan I think once your settled in your own place. Things well look up. Because they can't say your with someone then. I no what you mean about leaving work. Sometimes I wonder am I better not working!? Which is really bad thing. I was so proud when I got my job but now am questioning everything. If they cut my tax credits I'll be re thinking. Just watched benefits Britain on the dole!! Lol

Morgan97 · 20/06/2015 22:05

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 22:34

Tory Government's £12bn Welfare Cuts Agreed

Sophy Ridge, Political Correspondent
Welfare cuts worth £12bn a year will be announced in next month's Budget, after the Government agreed "significant" spending reductions in the last few days.

On a weekend during which tens of thousands of protesters marched against austerity, Chancellor George Osborne and Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith signalled they would press ahead with cuts.

The welfare changes will include capping benefits at £23,000 a year for each family. Cuts to housing benefit and tax credits are also expected, defying speculation the promised cuts to the welfare budget would be watered down.

In an article in the Sunday Times, the joint letter from Mr Osborne and Mr Duncan Smith wrote: "This government was elected with a mandate to implement further savings from the £220bn welfare budget. For a start, we will reduce the benefit cap, and have made clear that we believe we need to make significant savings from other working-age benefits.

"We will set out in detail all the steps we will take to bring about savings totalling £12bn a year in next month's Budget and at the spending review in the autumn.

"It took many years for welfare spending to spiral so far out of control, and it's a project of a decade or more to return the system to sanity.

"Reforming the damaging culture of welfare dependency and ensuring that work pays has been central to our mission to make Britain fit for the future."

The planned cuts emerged as anti-austerity protesters demanded an end to government cuts.

Organisers estimated that 250,000 people took part in the demonstrations in London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Bristol, including celebrities Russell Brand and Charlotte Church.

The decision to write the article on the same weekend as the protests will be seen as deliberately provocative.

The two ministers wrote: "All our reforms will have these central aims: to ensure the welfare system promotes work and personal responsibility, while putting expenditure on a sustainable footing.

"Welfare reform is fundamentally about opportunity and changing lives, supporting families to move from dependence to independence - a vital point, because without social mobility there can be no social justice."

smokie19 · 20/06/2015 22:39

wonder if concentrix are trying ta cut our money

smokie19 · 20/06/2015 22:41

so prob aftr cutting our tax credits, prob be bettr off not working befor long

emilou123 · 20/06/2015 22:55

Social bloody cleansing. Can,t quite understand how they believe that once they,ve thrown you in the gutter you are then capable of then turning your life around.....

Morgan97 · 20/06/2015 23:13

Well emilou they certainly don't care about the consequences of their actions. They tell lies all the time, when they wrote to me to tell me they won't budge with the mandetory reconsideration the letter said we will return your documents separately but they were in the same envelope they lied to my mp telling him my mandetory reconsideration was being looked at the same day I got their decision,oh and they lied to me saying they'd phoned my employers when they hadn't. The system has gone crazy according to housing benefit I still have to pay £20 a week as I dont get full housing benefit but if I didn't work I'd get it ALL paid dont ask me where or how I'm going to pay the extra oh I know I'll ask my imaginary partner to help!!

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 23:17

Very true Morgan! I don't understand housing either! I have to pay half rent each week and I've 4 wains and my husband+who doesn't work. Only me and my 30 hours! But I don't see why you have to pay anything when your not getting tax credits!? Its goes on overall income. I would look into that again. When I made a joint claim last year my tax credits stopped for 5 weeks so therefore I couldn't pay any rent

Morgan97 · 20/06/2015 23:25

Well baby I didn't know that so will double check thank you,I've been stressing for the last fee days even more than usual now there's a surprise my life's a nightmare at the moment. My thoughts are turning to giving up work again I have a devil and an angel on each shoulder whispering in my ear lol got to laugh haven't you.
