Hi crazy of did you get your employer to write a letter to say you work 30 hours a week or is it in your wage slips?

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 07:11

cazzy I hope you bet your p60 back soon, I think it is joke we are told to sent back without delay, only for there to be a major delay their end in scanning them! Also they get our earnings direct from our employers so don't know why they need our payslips and p60 surly our contracts and letter showing hours worked a week should have been all, they needed as it is to check we are working and we are working the hours we have told them

I was working it out. I might be wrong but this is my theory! I should have heard and be sorted by concentrix by the 10th of July. Because I remember when I rung hmrc and they said they HAD to have my final award notice processed within 10 weeks. I renewed the 1st may. So by going by that it should be sorted by 10th of July!! (Fingers crossed!)

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 08:25

Hi baby I phoned hmrc the day I got concentrix letter and said I haven't had my finalised award yet, they didn't mention concentrix but hold me final notice was still processing and will be done 10th July, I also renewed mine 1st of May, fingers crossed you theory is right and that means mine will also be done by then

Aww happy days!! Did you say you got a letter from concentrix recently saying you hadn't finalized award? I didn't get one. Did you ring hmrc this morning? Did they definitely say the 10th of July? That wouldn't be to bad

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 08:58

only letter I havw had from concentrix is the one I got on 4th of June asking for my information, I phoned hmrc on 8th of June I didn't mention letter from concentrix just said I have received my final award notice for 14/15 tax year she had a look at my information and said still processing will be done by 10th of July

Pity we all didn't live beside each other we could have had a celebration when all this is over!!

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 09:00

Do you not mean final tax award for 15/16 that's the one I want. To apply for school meals and uniforms!

babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 09:05

Its bad when your being investigated because your working!!!! Why would we lie! Its a good thing we work! What a waste of time! I heard they want to make sure people are getting the national minimum wage. But doesn't state anywhere on my info what I get an hour! I don't even no. I just no what I get each month and that suits me grand! I get paid next Saturday and am doing a massive online tesco shop to stock up on all essentials buying 3 of everything. Just in case!!!

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 09:18

Would be nice if we lived near each other. I have had a provisional notice for 15/16. But not had my final tax credits decision for 14/15, which is what renewal process is for it is to finalise that you received correct amount last year and start your new payments for this year

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 09:43

We go out to work and are being made to feel as if we do something, I can understand they need to make sure but they do know we work as they get all payment information directly from employers now which obviously they wouldn't have if we didn't work! So why don't they just ask for confirmation from employer on how many hours we work a week would cut down on all this paperwork being sent back and forth and speed up this whole process

smokie19 · 20/06/2015 09:45

when i rang up befor all this farce, with my change of employment hourly rate and how many hrs doing details there payed me a extra payment, when i rang again a wk later with my p60 details, i askd why there had payd it. there said was to finalise that yr. as was 20th april when first rang. i then rang last wk to chase up my paperwork and informed them that i had give wrong hourly pay as thought was on 7.15 but on 7.40 there said it didnt matter!!! but must divas all these 25p does add up. i did however wonder why i got txt saying can take upto 8 wks when gave p60 details, has dnt normally get that

smokie19 · 20/06/2015 09:46

and still not got docs bak although told me other day be in the post and returned within two days

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 09:50

When I phoned to do renewal I wasn't given a time scale just said that's all been done and gone through ok! Must be harder when on hourly rate as you don't really know exact pay for year till you get your p60, I am lucky that I am salaried cos it means I always get paid the same unless I get a pay increase which dies t really happen bring a teaching assistant, but Hefner ties happen I phone them and give a new estimate on current years earnings so that I can't gpbr over paid between start of new tax year and renewal taking place. (Hope that makes sense)

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 09:51

*doesnt really happen

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 09:53

Hope you get them soon smoke at least they are on wag back to you.
Just looked at my last post wish this phone would stop trying to auto correct what I write cos it's not even doing that right lol

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 10:10

Lol I don't I got a provisional for 15/16 I've had nothing!!!

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 10:14

Can you see if you can use the provisional to apply for meals amd uniforms and then give them the award notice to confirm once you get it

OP posts:
cazzymog · 20/06/2015 10:18

12 fed up another teaching assistant! Yes school Bursar did a letter pointing out that my contract was for 29.25 but that I did another hour each week for the club. Wage slips also show it as additional hours claimed each month. Agree babyalan why do they need all our wage slips P60 etc when they already know how much we earn! !! Hated sending them bank statements you start thinking they will check everything you buy! !! Does feel very invasive.

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 10:22

Cazzy that should be ok, I don't understand why they want bank statements, I wasn't asked to provide them just payslip, p60, contract, confirmation of hours and also renewal declaration form (which I had already done via phone on 1st May)

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 20/06/2015 10:23

Exactly!! I don't have anything to send only last years. Which is dated to April 15. Don't think they would accept this

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 10:27

Baby did you not get the provisional tax credit for 2015 - 2016 letter?

OP posts:
cazzymog · 20/06/2015 10:33

Oh worrying even more now. Thought everyone with the employment check had to send bank statements too! I had to send renewal form too and like you fedup had already renewed online.

12fedup12 · 20/06/2015 10:37

Don't think you need to worry about that carry I have seen a few of us on these forums who are having employment and not some have been asked for statements and some haven't there doesn't appear to be any reason for it I wonder if it's where they use a template letter and just forget to take that information off.
