Please post your experiance from concentrix here, including how long it took for documents to go on system, how long to get documents, the time scale from start to finish (case closed) and what the outcome was

I rang HMRC at the start of May and told them I wanted to stop claiming and not renew ( my renewal form came after the concentrix one) . It was only then I was told I would need to repay money paid since April. Thank God I did it sooner rather than later! Never knew you had to repay back if you stopped. I have had to cut really back elsewhere but am glad I won't have to jump through their hoops in the future.

babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 19:04

Can you afford to stop claiming? I definitely can't! I unfortunately rely on especially with 4 children

flumposie · 19/06/2015 19:13

Have had to ask for extra hours at work and cut back .Just managing.

babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 19:34

Aww I no! I've few birthdays in July. Sister mum and uncle. Acdc concert! (Lol) and hoildays! And kids of school which means more food and expense_!! Never ending!

bapper2000 · 19/06/2015 20:42

Hey everybody this page has definitely been a great source of comfort for me over the last 2 months ???? I thought I'd just let yous all know my timescale renewed tax credits 29th of April ..received letter from concentrix ( I fecking hate that word ) dated 29th of April on the 2nd of May deadline 28th of May documents sent 22 signed for 23rd phoned Mon told docs scanned 6th June and told I should call back end of week as they are on deadline of 10 days between scan and decision phone tonight on hold for 40mins but was told case closed yesterday all my evidence was enough ..... I'm so relieved I can't tell u I hope u all get through this and get a good result the one thing I will tell yous is I dI'd happen to say to the fella I was talking to was I felt like phoning once a week to keep tabs on everything and he told me it's probably a good job I didn't because the people doing that if which they are taking note and counting are making themselves look very very guilty he said if everybody just sent off info and then just waited even 4 weeks to contact would probably beneifit more at the end of the day if your doing nothing wrong there's nothing to worry about (I wanted to hit him ) lol ????????????

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 20:48

Are you phoning for an update tomorrow baby? I called back this evening because I was worried about the person this morning saying it would be 3 - 4 weeks before documents are scanned, the man I spoke to this evening was much more calmer, relaxed and reassuring than Man this morning he said it is taking 3 weeks and since my were signed for 2 weeks ago today to phone back next Friday because my documents should be on the system by the. Just going to keep everything crossed that he is right!
The one I spoke to this morning just seemed agitated by the fact I phoned and seemed to be trying to deter me from phoning them again!

babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 20:55

Am wee bit of phoning now! After reading previous post!!! Do you think it makes us look guilty!!? O dear! I've phoned a few times now! Nah don't think I'll phone tomarrow. I phoned on Wednesday! Maybe next Saturday!!

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 20:55

Yours was done very quickly, what was they checking with you? How dare they say people who keep calling are making themselves look guilty everybody who is innocent sends back documents ASAP, if they were realistic in timescales people wouldn't need to keep calling, I have been phoning because they have got my personnel documents which I stupidly didn't make copies of and I am worried about them going missing which I have told them. Also the letter states 10 working days and it is taking much longer than that.
Great news bapper2000 you must be so pleased, have you had your documents back yet?

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 20:58

I personal don't think it makes is look guilty and I have told them I am worried about getting my documents back as I didn't make copies. However after speaking the man I spoke to this evening I'm not going to phone till end of next week as he advised me to

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 21:03

Think I'll try and leave it 2 weeks!!! Which will be really difficult for me to do!! But I don't want them thinking am guilty!! Feel worse again now! First time I phoned was to ask if received stuff. And to explain I couldn't send time sheets. 2nd time was for update! And 3rd time again update and to tell them am going on holiday in July!

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:07

Try not to worry I have phone them nearly every day but as I have told them I am worried about my documents as never made copies before I sent them, I also told them that keep getting told different timescales every time I call, but I have made it clear it is my documents I am worried about and don't want them going missing

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:09

We have sent them all the prove that wanted to show we are employed and working the number of hours we have stated, when you have phoned have you said you are worried about the outcome or about where your documents are ?

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 21:10

The more I think about it obviously loads of people phoning! By going on how long you have to wait to get through!! So I'll phone in 2 weeks. Unless someone on hears anything that's in the same time scale as me! Maybe in 2 weeks my case could be sorted!! Fingers crossed!

babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 21:13

Nah I don't think so. I really can't remember. Just showed concern that I wasn't able to send everything they wanted . I don't no why am worried I haven't done anything!! Why do I feel I have! Lol driving me mad!!

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:14

Fingers crossed' also if anyone is on same time scale as me I would. appreciated if you have any updates before I get in contact with them again, my documents were received on 5th of June. I am not going to phone again for another 1-2 weeks

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:16

I know that's how they have got us feeling, it is horrible, and all done to the wording of those letters if they changed changed how they were worded no doubt we wouldn't feel like this! They also need to change the timescale in there letter as that says 10 days which it clearly isn't!

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:19

I think by only showing concern about not sending right documents or in my case worrying about where your documents are it is normal, if we were hounding them to close our cases without looking at documents might be a different story or if we were telling them we couldn't send any evidence off then would look odd

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 19/06/2015 21:45

Aye very true! I also showed concern that I needed it sorted asap cause I need my final award notice to apply for school meals!! But think I'll leave it 2 weeks. Documents should definitely be on system then!!

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:49

Think I will wait two weeks as well you are a couple of days ahead of me so once yours are on mine should go on around the same time

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 21:52

Morgan97 · 19/06/2015 22:23

Baby pleased your payment went in ok but like you said it's more bloody waiting 12fedup, well I got my keys and tenancy agreement phoned compliance team to tell them but oh no that's much too easy....I've got to send documents from 1st of march to 1st of June just cos I've moved it doesn't make a difference so now with the help of a friend I'm getting more stuff together it's an absolute joke. My poor brain cell can't take the strain,I'm so tired but can't sleep,I've been to town got my bank statement copies back home realised hadn't got savings account copies even tho there's nothing in them so go back to town n forgot what I went for. Def brain overload

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 22:31

Oh no Morgan why do these people make things so hard!
and another lady today said if we keep phoning we look guilty although I can't see how asking where my documents are because I'm worried about them going missing makes me look guilty that is all I say everything I called, I know I gave called a lot but I am really anxious about my documents as I didn't make any copies of them, I feel so stupid for Dr ting with making any copies! Not phoning again for about 2 weeks now.
Hope you and your DD have a good first night in your new home xx

stresshead99 · 19/06/2015 22:31

hi baby, as you and I have the same date I am waiting to hear what happens to you. I am too afraid to keep phoning, I have only rang once but I was on waiting so long I haven't rang again. I think the staff must be under so much pressure too. Can you imagine working there? The phone calls, the back log, the post! Oh, they must be as stressed as we are! probably on minimum wage. Lets hope it works out wellx

12fedup12 · 19/06/2015 22:32
