I am such a basket case these days though that it did make me cry a little bit... Dh has just come home so I'll have to pretend I'm just a bit emotional over the football results instead - he'll understand that more!

mm, great that you have your tree up! We'll probably be getting ours next weekend - it's always a cut one, usually takes up half the sitting room, is nearly dead by Christmas Day and just a twiggy stump by January.

I'm tucked up on the couch with a rotten sore throat but can't compain too much as my lovely DH has just made me a big bacon sarny.

i have had a shit rubbish day
Went to bed last night and was even asleep when my dog started screaming ( well, dog screaming!) so i opened the door and he came in and collapsed on the floor cue frantic phone calls to find an emergency vet which resulted me try to lift a ten tonne lab into the back of the car at 1.30 in the morning, if one of the neighbours had seen im sure they would think i was loading a dead body into the boot! anyway we finally got home at 2.30am, and then spent the night stroking him because as soon as i stopped he cried again its been like this all day, the tablets will take 24 hours to kick in so i have a crying doggie, and serious lack of sleep! cant even go out and leave him so no nice food for dh to come home too..
Oh and it cost £170 i have managed 25 minutes sleep this afternoon, and a nice warm both so now im in my pj,s and im going to relax once i finish cleaning the house a little more.
I really do hope you are all ok, i will be posting here as soon as i can, might be tuesday now...but ill be lurking so come and cheer me up with your nice weekend stories..

Barbie I sang some christmas songs just for you and thought about you (in fact all of us) when I put the star on the top, and hoped that next year we will either all babies to cuddle or have huge baby bellies!

Well got a sick dd today, had her at the out of hours doc today and she has an ear infection, it is horrible to watch her feeling so poorly. Got some antib so hopefully a couple of days on them and she should be feeling better. Only working a half shift tonight so I can be with her tomorrow, so if she is feeling up to it we can spend the day watching christmas movies. Can you tell how much I love christmas!!!!!!!

Do you know I'm actually feeling quite Christmassy? Never thought I would!

Sorry to hear about your dd, yeah for taking tomorrow off, a sofa day watching movies sounds great...i love christmas too! Im so tired i cant even think about dh coming home, although i have put tan on, and generally sorted myself out
i have to go and collect him at 8.30 in the morning so hopefully the dog will allow me to sleep tonight, i think we are going to take the dog for a nice long walk together and get some lunch out, due to my lack of food shopping....then we might catch the new james bond movie in the cinema later, enjoy your shift!

Hope dd feels better soon MM. I peeled myself off the couch briefly to go down to Greenwich market - bought 3 presents and a cute wooden toybox for the room we are pretending is not a nursery at the moment .

I've got my first consultant appointment on Friday week because I've had two miscarriages. Any idea what is likely to happen? Do they just talk through stuff or take blood or do scans? Please tell me no more scans . Does it matter if I haven't got my AF before the appointment happens?

Just a very quick note to say hello to every1 - its been a long time since i've had time to go on here - RL taking over, but dont want any1 to forget me!

Its Eid 2mrw, which is the Christmas equivalent for Muslims, so have been very busy getting things ready for that, made 5 different types of cake yesterday! Got my haircut today, shorter than it has been for a while, DH loves it

Also my nan came home from hospital on Friday, just in time for EId, which is great. Mum and family have gone up to spend Eid with her, its a shame I couldnt go up but DH couldnt get time off work.

Will catch up again in a couple of days. Love to all and Happy Eid!
