Hello ladies,
Well today went as well as expected. Met the consultant, he went thru our prev history and took blood from both myself and dh (got blood on the second attempt from me that must be a record). We will have to wait for the results but he was honest and gave us the facts on any future preg, so here they are. If everything is clear then we have a 60% chance of a successful preg, apparently even if we go on to mc again the odds always stay above 50% due to the fact we have dd. If the bloods show up with lupus cong...thingy (blood clotting) then with treatment the chances of successful preg are around 85%.
Right now I feel as if we have just been given information I already knew although dh is pretty upbeat about today but I just feel kind of flat. In my opinion today we were told that we will get a baby at the end of this it just depends how many more times we are willing to try.
Back to the wait and see for now.
jinglejools love the name, I was thinking about what to change to and it was either mmulledwine or mmincepies but much prefer mulled wine to mince pies anyday.
nativityvillagemum so so so glad to see you on here, thought we had lost you for a minute there. Good to hear you are feeling back to normal, sounds like dh is glad too.
mollieandtheivy felt you holding my hand today hun, your turn next week so my hand is ready for you when you need it.
vjaymerrilyonhigh so you and vm are cycle buddies, we could have two bfp's at the same time.
santabarbie last but by no means least, got your text today, actually just seen it when I went to turn my phone off going into the hospital so the timing was perfect, thank you hun. Sounds like you had a cold day, the ice and snow has been pretty bad here as well, rear wheel drives don't like it unfortunately, DB changed his car due to the same issue in the winter. You get cosy with that big chocolate lab of yours. Hopefully the worst of the weather is gone for now, anyway in a few weeks you won't need to worry about being cold.
Loving the christmas names, big hellos to anyone I have missed.
