mm1509 · 20/11/2008 22:49

Just thought I would check in to see if you were around. Hi sabs and cw no early nights for us tonight.

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:50

cant sleep but im soooo tired. I have an awful habit of taking the laptop to bed with me lately and being on it until i really can not stay awake any longer, so im only to blame for my tiredness.

mm1509 · 20/11/2008 22:53

barbie how stupid can your (soon to be ex) boss be, what were you supposed to do with your tattoo, just erase it. Glad you won't need to put up with her much longer.

sabs can't believe you have been refused a visa, hope it gets sorted soon.

cw considered a glass bottle of wine myself tonight but then figured it wasn't a good idea. Have an extra glass from me hun.

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:54

Thank you hun, what you said earlier about sending a picture of flowers was very touching. You take care and I am sure I will speak to you tomorrow.
Very sweet dreams to you, you deserve them xxx

MollieMooma · 20/11/2008 23:39

Barbie Thanks for posting a pic of your tattoo! Very impressed, what a complete arse your boss is, I bet you had such a good feeling handing her your resignation. I forgot to say how I was at your "friends" comments!!!!!!! I don't think what you said was out of order but they need a smack of reality in the face! (I can give it to them if you like ) By the way you can gatecrash and stalk me on the other thread anytime my lovely
MM Glad to hear your DD is better, I hope you find what your looking for at church tomorrow hun x
Sabs I think that was really touching that your Nan remembers what's happened to you, what a pain in the rear about your visa applications
Pecanpie Hello and welcome, sorry you have had to join us, it's difficult being around pg people and it must have been hard not being able to talk to your friend, hope things sort themselves out for you soon

Jools1 · 21/11/2008 08:29

Morning everyone

I couldn't post more last night - took me what felt like HOURS to type what I did !! I don't think I've even been tipsy since June - 4 small glasses of red and I was not a pretty sight last night Think it was therapeutic though, but my head doesn't want me to do it again in a hurry

Sorry to hear about the visa woes - hope that gets sorted quickly and you get your lovely relaxing holiday

Heffalumps - can identify with that comfort eating and no gym for a fortnight means my waistline is back to where it was before the mc, only without an excuse

Right, off to rehydrate, sort out the very nice Sky man who is installing Sky Plus for me and find some industrial strength headache pills !

Heebeejeebee · 21/11/2008 09:18

Morning everyone. Thank you all for your warm welcome! Still feeling a bit dazed and confused at the moment, but I think its because I feel like I'm in limbo until Tuesday...

Jools - the red wine sounded just what the dr ordered. At least you didn't do what I did after my first m/c - we had friends round for dinner, I drank too much (well probably not much, but after 10 weeks of abstinence it had much the same effect) and fell asleep at the dinner table

I've updated the list with my details

Just popping in to say good morning. It's ffffreezing up here today, and there is snow!!!
Well it's a day full of study for me today. Wishing you all nice fridays xxx

Lionstar · 21/11/2008 09:47

Wow, you ladies have been busy!

Hi to all the newcomers heebeejeebee, sussexoldspot, pecanpie as a newbie myself I can tell you what a warm and welcoming place this cave is. Sorry for the loss you have had to suffer to find us here though.

barbie your tattoo is lovely, and a perfect design to remember your little one. We also think of our baby as being a star. Sorry to hear your boss was so mean, glad she is soon to be ex-boss.

mm and mollie sorry to hear of your brushes with A&E, hope everyone is feeling better now

lilacpink sorry to hear your news, so hope that the BFN means a better outcome. Hope to see you back soon.

scamper any sign of your little cat? I'm jealous of you NY trip too.

sabs sad to hear about your Nan, mine too suffered from Alzheimers and I know how difficult it is to see someone you love becoming so diminished. Can't believe the trouble with your visas too, really hope it gets sorted out soon.

jools hope your sore head gets better. Well done you for trying to get back into work too - I'm struggling even to think about it. I had a couple of glasses of wine the other night, and I did find it relaxing.

I've had a better few days, especially as my back is getting better so I am more mobile and can get on with things.Had a few more cramps and bleeding yesterday (just when I though it was finished), but hopefully that will be the end. Was a bit weepy last night but managed to keep it under control. Have updated my details on the list (so I can claim I'm 36 still, b'day on Sunday!):

Curlywurlee · 21/11/2008 09:59

Happy Friday everyone . Like VJ I'm meant to be studying so will catch up later!

Don't worry Jools, it's amazing how quickly alcohol becomes normal again - not for long hopefully, roll on NY and TTC. Hope the head isn't too sore though. LoL at heebies dinner table etiquette .

Curlywurlee · 21/11/2008 10:03

Awwww no... it's Homes under the Hammer time. Must get treatment for my property show addiction. I'll never get any study done now

VillageMum · 21/11/2008 11:59

What chatterboxes you've all been since yesterday! Can't stop for long but just wanted to say welcome to pecanpie - I'm so sorry you've had to join us, but come in here anytime if you want to vent or just want some friends to spend the time with...

mm, 'why do we have a head'? Ha ha ha ha! I love it! Do I have a head? I sometimes wonder...

Jonesy68 · 21/11/2008 12:45

Curly thnx for the advice, will try not to worry for another week and do another test (or get docs to as they cost a bomb). And thnx for updating the list ! Also laughed at your 1, no 3 glasses of wine - more because it was after a run! . I love a few glasses of good red and find at the moment that one glass and I'm pretty darned tipsy (not pint glass...) 3 months of abstinance has rendered me a complete lightweight!

Vjay sounds like 3 weeks could well be best time to wait until. Last mc I did test after 2 weeks and it was neg but was only 8 weeks mc and this one was 12 weeks so perhaps hormones are higher.

Oh the irony! .

barbie love the tattoo! But especially the significance for you. I am still contemplating angel wings. Your boss is an arse of the highest order...how you didn't take her head completely off her shoulders I don't know...

jools lol at your drunken posting made me chuckle. Hope the head's better.

Jools1 · 21/11/2008 12:47

DP took the day off to keep me company today Went for an "all day breakfast" at a new caff that has opened up in town - really enjoyed it. I was coping even when 4 ladies came in with prams, then looked round to see 4 perfect, cute, gorgeous very ickle babies being cuddled out of their prams

had to leave quite quickly I was amazed at the strength of emotion still bubbling under the surface

Curlywurlee · 21/11/2008 13:18

Oh Jools it is so soon and it's okay to be sad. We will be those ladies in the cafe some day soon.

Your DP sounds like a real sweetheart

At least we are cheap dates at the moment Jonesy. it doesn't take much to get me drunk either. Can't wait till the xmas party... eek

This studying lark is not going well today. Actually tempted to rake up the leaves in the garden instead... anything but study!

pecanpie · 21/11/2008 13:23

jools and jonesy - also finding I'm a complete lightweight on the wine after abstaining for a while.... Let's just say that last night's glass 'enhanced my emotions'!

my details for the rundown
