I am sooooo GRUMPY this afternoon ! Fell asleep on the sofa and managed to poke myself in the eye - now I can hardly see out of it DP on his way home with fish and chips though

Diet starts tomorrow - gym class at 8.45 - eeek

Jools1 · 21/11/2008 20:14

Vjay - it must be the only time we are ever glad to see AF Glad you are feeling better.

I think that as long as I don't keep talking about TTC, DP is going to just go with the flow. I know he is worried about seeing me in this state again, so I have to keep quoting stats about the (un)likelihood of multiple mc's.

I don't want to wait for AF. Wish this bloomin mc spotting would stop though

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 20:35

Hiya...im so tired today, really thought i would get af as i have had niggling pains, but then its about the 15th time i have said this since mc and still nothing. Its been 68 days now! I really wanted to be back to normal if there is such a thing before dh gets home....

mm i have been thinking about you lots today, i hope you remembered your angels in a special way and that there wasnt too many tears, big hugs to you hun x

jools good luck at the gym tomorrow, i have been up walking the dog at 6.30am everymorning! no gym this evening because of the tiredness....

Hello everyone, what are you all doing this weekend? im working until 7pm tomorrow and then i will watch x factor as soon as i get home, might treat myself to some choccies too! sunday will be the usual of dog walking, gym, decorating, cleaning, shopping and everything else you are meant to do during the week for which i havent had the time for xxx

barbie - have you mentioned to the GP that AF is AWOL ?? I was told to expect to wait up to 7 weeks but, if it took longer than that, to go back and they'd maybe put me on pills to kick the cycle back into action - might be worth a try if you haven't already ?

I was supposed to be going to a big cat show in Birmingham tomorrow and meet up with loads of friends, but I just can't face the journey, or all the sympathetic noises from people who are well meaning but don't know what to say.

Instead, I'm going back to my pre-pg routine - Legs Bums Tums followed by dance aerobics on Sat and Body Pump followed by Body Combat on Sunday morning. Having my hair cut on Sat afternoon and, apart from that, will probably be crashed on the sofa groaning and wondering what has happened to my fitness levels ! I have to tell some gym instructors I'm not PG - hopefully by Monday evening, everyone will know. I had to tell my physiotherapist this afternoon and she was lovely

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 20:47

jools i have been to the doctors 3 times, most of the time they havent been very helpful, as you might of seen if you have read whole thread....i have an hospital appoint next thursday to have a scan which will hopefully see what the heck is wrong with me my belly feels full all the time, much like a period swelling! you will be fine at the gym, i was the same...went everyday for months and then nothing for 3 months, but back to full fitness now.. (it wasnt hard, it was never that got in the first place! ) Enjoy the hairdressers, i really wish i had the time to go...barbie make a mental note of booking an appointment before dh comes home

mm1509 · 21/11/2008 21:26

Hi barbie I'm here and I'm doin ok. Been a strange day today, just kind of spent it with my own thoughts, dh knows what today means but I think to him it's in the past now. I hope I don't make it sound as if he isn't bothered, I know he does but I just think he doesn' want to let himself go there again. I think we both deal with it in our own ways. I haven't posted today as for the first time I really didn't know what to write, I guess sometimes words just seem inadequate.
I am watching what I am writing just now as I am work and don't want to end up in tears........brave face we all know how that works.
Thanks for asking about me hun, your words mean so much. xxx

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 21:29

i know your husband is thinking about it in his own way, like we talked about men see things differently, doesnt mean he feels the sadness any less...Im glad you got through today, shame you have to work this evening. I wont say too much more for fear of starting your tears! Im here though......

mm1509 · 21/11/2008 21:39

Jools1 · 21/11/2008 21:49

Really sorry if I said the wrong thing Barbie

I DID try to read through the other thread in an effort to get to know you all and feel more part of the thread, but my head was still all over the place and I can't remember details - just an overall impression of how very close-knit and supportive you all are

I've had ten days of sitting on my backside and haunting MN, looking for people to talk to or at, including lurking on AN threads which is not healthy, but real life starts back tomorrow, so I'll try to give the computer a rest for a while and leave you all in peace

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 21:50

3 small stars like vb? like this

OP posts:
barbie1 · 21/11/2008 21:52

NO NO NO jools you didnt say the wrong thing! i just didnt want to bore you with all the details in case you had already read my other boring post! i didnt know about the tablets, can you tell me any more about them?

OP posts:
barbie1 · 21/11/2008 21:55

jools good luck with rl, but believe me you will be back here as soon as you get home just like i do its addictive! im always here if you need to talk, ill even cat you my mobile number if you are lonely through the day or need an instant message of support, let me know if i can do anything for you hun....
While you are here you can help me find mm a tattoo

OP posts:
mm1509 · 21/11/2008 21:59

barbie I will have a look thru them and see what ideas I get.

jools and barbie the only downside to MN is that when you are just typing it is so easy to misinterperate (spelling) conversations, it is much easier face to face. In my honest opinion all of us on this thread are looking out for each other and trying to help.

mm1509 · 21/11/2008 22:03

jools do not leave that computer.....and that's an order.

Be back in 10 mins

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 22:05

mm what about the new craze for white tattoos? not so intrusive? look!

OP posts:
mm1509 · 21/11/2008 22:16

I'm back, officially on my teabreak now. Hadn't seen these before might be an idea, then again my skin is so white you might not see it.

jools hope you are still there.

barbie1 · 21/11/2008 22:16

oh dear i seem to have killed the thread

OP posts:
mm1509 · 21/11/2008 22:22

No you haven't and fingers crossed jools will be back with us tomorrow or sooner...........sending sos out to jools.

I need to have a good look thru the first website you linked, I am thinking I might get one tattoo with 3 small kisses underneath or something along those lines.

Sabs1981 · 21/11/2008 22:24

Hello ladies, hows it going? Its a bit quiet in here...apart from mm and barbie jools good luck for heading back to reality
