Jonesy, forgot to say that I have read in quite a few places that the preg hormones can stick around a long time. That's got to be the last thing you want to see at the moment honey. I'm afraid to do a test myself in case I see the same

Anyway, in a very poor attempt to cheer you up, I've typed more asterisks than you can shake a stick at and put together the old list with the new one because I think a few others dropped off too.

Sorry Pecanpie, just missed you with my last post

I'm really sorry to hear about your MC. Someone was saying on here recently that it is harder to see bumps right now than babies and I think it's true. It seems like half of my friends have either had a baby or announced they are pregnant in the last week. On top of that a guy I used to work with asked me if my recent time off work was down to morning sickness. Yeah, I wish

Here's a spanking new list

barbie age 28 newcastle no children
vm age 25 oxford one ds
mm age 36 glasgow one dd
curlywurlee age 35 london no children
molliemooma age 36 no children

Sorry spats - got you mixed up with scamper earlier re: New York - .

Welcome pecanpie - big hugs to you x

Curlywurlee · 20/11/2008 20:44

Hey Blue, how are you this evenin? Your earlier post about your friend's crass remark made me mad . My lovely sister said something similar last week about how my first miscariage didn't really count because lots of people have one and think it is just a period. She meant that I probably didn't have a medical issue and would be fine next time but it still hurt. She took it right back when I started crying and saying that both babies counted to me. I can't believe barbie's friend either. How awful to say that. If you have a miscarriage, you have the right to talk about it till you're 100 years old.

Maybe we could put together a top 10 things not to say to someone who's just had a miscarriage

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 20:57

She asked why i had it done, i said to remember the baby...so she said oh? so were you going to call it star or something? ...

OP posts:
Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:01

i'll talk to you barbie...!

wow, why are you not allowed tattoos at work? what line do you work in?

and what an insensitive manager!

Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:09

Thanks for everyone who's been asking about my nan. She's still in hospital, not getting much better. My mums amazed that although her Alzheimer's making her forget so much, she remembered my mc and she was telling my mum how sad was it was that it happened to me and she hopes I have kids soon. Like i've said before, if im lucky enough to have a girl, i'm going to name her after my nan

On top of everything else, my DH and my visa's to India have been denied all because we're British Muslim! Can't believe it, even though i have a previous visa in my passport for india when I went nearly 8 years ago

Sorry for the "Me, me, me" post...but promise to catch up properly with every1 soon

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:14

sabs nothing important, just for estee lauder but its not the right image
Sad smile for your nan remembering things about you, shows how much she loves you
So what now with india??? were you planning to go soon? what will you do

OP posts:
Jools1 · 20/11/2008 22:19

Will say hello to everyone tomorow; tonight is the first DRUNK night for over 12 weeks - lots of tears !

Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:23

we were planning to go on xmas day for 2 weeks and ticket have already been paid for

They now want to see both of our parents passports. DH's and my hubby's parents were all born in India but have British passports now. My mum's lived here since the age of 1, yorkshire bred....

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:23

tears are good, you need to release everything! oh have a drink for me would you? xx

OP posts:
barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:25

sabs didnt realise you need a visa for a visit?? im sure it will work out but what a nightmare!
I have to go to london to the uae embassy to confirm birth/ marriage cert etc...

OP posts:
Curlywurlee · 20/11/2008 22:30

Sabs that's rubbish news I know how much you needed this holiday before TTC again. If they are looking for your parents passports, does this mean they will maybe reconsider?

Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:30

Yup, need a visa to enter India, just never heard of this ever happening to any1 before...I just feel so outraged. I know they refuse a lot of Pakistani's visa's in India because of the history between the 2 countries, but I'm British! With Indian heritage!

When are you planning to come to London? Is it Dubai you're planning to move to? I went there nearly 2 years ago, and loved it! The shopping is amazing!

Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:34

curlywurlee our agent seems to reckon that once they see our parents passports, and see that they were born in India, they will reconsider. The whole point of going to India (along with getting us ready to try again) was so DH could see his nan who he hasnt seen for like 20 years and like my nan, is not so well, but keeps on asking my DH to come and visit her.....

How was your day CW?

barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:36

I think we will be in london first week of new year (the year that is going to be fab for us all! ) And yes its dubai, been there a few times, although its a building site i agree with the fab shopping ...
Im so for you re visa, keep us posted x

OP posts:
barbie1 · 20/11/2008 22:37

hi cw...how are you today?

OP posts:
Curlywurlee · 20/11/2008 22:39

That is crazy hun, I hope they reconsider

My day was good thanks - got some exercise at last. Was beginning to turn into a heffalump... I love that I can now feel supermodel thin after just one run!!!

barbie just read your last post and had a chuckle about your stupid boss. How much more insensitive can that woman get?

Curlywurlee · 20/11/2008 22:44

hmm.. serious crossposting going on here.

I'm good thanks Barbie. Went for run, watched property ladder, had glass of wine (blatant lie - three glasses of wine). The perfect night really

Sabs is there anyone else you could appeal to, like the british embassy in india or something?

mm1509 · 20/11/2008 22:46

Hi barbie are you still logged on!

Sabs1981 · 20/11/2008 22:46

Barbie Would be good if they can get the traffic in Dubai sorted out and the undeground built before you go over there

CW think i've turned into a heffalump ...all the mad comfort eating after mc, and the dark, cold nights dont help...i'm so good at coming out with excuses! But have put on weight after MC
