@DMT1982 that's brilliant news!! My bloods are booked for tomorrow. EPU tried calling and now I can't get through to them to book a scan but not too fussed, keen to see what the bloods say. Hopefully results will be quick and I can then go for a scan if needed early next week. Xx

@AMS19 excellent you’ll also know where you’re at very soon then. It’ll be interesting to know what your levels are as you’re still getting squinters on the FRERs. I did a cheap one so maybe if I had done a FRER it would still show something as they are super sensitive. You’ve had a period though which shows its all working as it should be so hopefully tomorrow will show that. Be thinking of you because it will be difficult stepping foot back into EPU as I’m not sure about you but seems like an eternity ago I was there and although only 6 weeks ago I’ve somehow detached myself from the whole experience. Xxx

@DMT1982 yeah my 3 strips (10ml and 2 20ml) are all positive so seems it got stuck at the final hurdle! Although I haven't taken another FRER since Thursday last week so it could well be now! But yes, dreading going back to EPU. The blood tests are at the hospital too but at least not in EPU! Xx

Weirdly, I missed a call from a midwife yesterday, who left a voicemail saying she wanted to do a review. I was very much assuming that the NHS have been hopeless, that EPU hasn't talked to maternity, and that they think I am a pregnant woman not engaging with healthcare services. However, I just called the number she left and its for something called the Pre-pregnancy service?! Anyone ever heard of this?

@AMS19 so sorry youre needing scans and tests but hoping theyll be reassuring!

@AMS19 that’s one blessing then it’s at the hospital and not EPU. I hope you get some answers and if bloods are not giving the answers then at least they could do would be to scan you. Xxx

@AMS19 I really hope the blood test goes well. Sorry I can't remember how long ago things were for you. Not sure if it is reassuring but I was still getting squinters on 10ml tests until about 6 weeks post mc and then on FRER finally got a negative last week 7 and half weeks after mc. I had a scan last week that confirmed nothing retained. Had some spotting last week which I think (and hope) was the end to this as I've finally stopped spotting.

I'm also finally looking like I'm going to ovulate, on cd 24. Feel like I've been going crazy with BBT low and doing varying brands of ovulation tests, testing 3 times a day since cd 6 and nothing until a static smiley on clearblue and high result of easy@hone lh test this morning, plus some ewcm. I did get told at my scan it looked as though I had already ovulated this month but wasn't so sure as literally nothing on BBT or lh tests. Hoping that this is my body finally getting back on track.

@PlantMummy87 thanks that is reassuring. I havent bothered trying again with the FRER now I have the bloods.
Great news on your OPK! Mine was also higher this morning (0.71) on easy@home, was blank 3 days ago, so hoping this is a good sign! Fingers crossed for a temp rise for you tomorrow or Thursday. Let me know how you get on, sounds like we might be in sync if my surge continues 🙏 xx

@AMS19 oh I see so all the others are negative it’s just the FRER that’s saying positive? Xxx

So they called me back - apparently the EPU referred me (they didnt tell me that!) and they do a follow up for women who miscarry at the end of the first trimester, past the point they would expect. I have a telephone appt with them on Thursday - curious to see what they will ask or review then!

@DMT1982 yes my 2 20mlU and 1 10mlU are all positive. I also got a totally blank OPK Saturday which I think was previously picking up hcg. It's only the FRER which still had a line last Thursday. There is a decent chance it would now in fact be negative but cause I have the bloods I havent bothered testing again with it!

Honestly @DMT1982 clearly I'm obsessed with them being positive! So intrigued as to what the bloods will say. Would be amazing if they came back low single digits! Xx

@AMS19 yes I would be the same as you and intrigued to what my bloods show. Will you find out there and then or do the results get sent to your doctors? Xx

@DMT1982 to my doctor. I suspect I won't get them this week but hopefully things move quickly when I gdo get them assuming they are still positive xx

@AMS19 you’ll be surprised bloods get sorted very quickly especially if you’re having them done at the hospital that’s usually the hold up having them done at the doctors then waiting for them to be sent to the hospital. Xx
