Hey. I am currently going through a miscarriage (8 weeks) with my first pregnancy and finding it a pretty lonely process. So I just wondered if anyone else in the same position wanted to join a thread for support etc. I know there are lots of other threads, but it's a bit overwhelming and don't want to just jump on an existing thread 💗

@Poppypip how are you? Have you had your baby now? 💜

@Tbug all good with you? I had my 25 week midwife appt today and heard the heartbeat for the first time ❤️

Awwww how sweet, all good working 13 hour shifts so knackered!! Mines tomorrow but I've been naughty and had a doppler at home since 10 weeks! 🙈🙈

Poppypip · 13/07/2021 23:29

@Wearenotyourkind it's an amazing experience isn't it. So reassuring to hear.

Congratulations to you both on your little girls. I was convinced I was having a boy but our rainbow daughter came into the world on 29th June 💞 She is amazing and I feel so lucky every day to have her. It is very strange not to be pregnant after such a long time.

Poppypip · 13/07/2021 23:30

That's an amazing picture btw @Tbug !

Wearenotyourkind · 14/07/2021 07:34

Hey @Wearenotyourkind ❤❤ all good, really knackered working long shifts now!! You ok?

Wearenotyourkind · 13/09/2021 09:30

All good here too, thank you @Tbug still can't believe I'm pregnant, let alone 34 weeks now! I feel knackered too, but I can't imagine how you are coping on your feet all day at work. When do you start mat leave?

Tbug · 13/09/2021 09:44

@Wearenotyourkind I know, me too, so excited now!! Actually just sent home from work today cos I feel so yuch!! 5th October! What about you?

Wearenotyourkind · 15/09/2021 09:39

4th October! Are you all ready now or still things to buy? Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish.

Tbug · 15/09/2021 11:56

@Wearenotyourkind think its just the length of my shifts! Think I'm all ready and hospital bags all packed!! You ready? ❤

Wearenotyourkind · 24/09/2021 22:17

@Tbug hospital bags partly packed! But still need to wash all the baby's stuff! One more week at work! I've got midwife, scan and consultant appt next week. Hoping to discuss birth plan. Have you got names sorted? It feels like such a massive responsibility, doesn't it. People keep asking me about names, but we're not sharing!

Tbug · 25/09/2021 06:50

Ooooh exciting! Can't wait to finish work :) yeah Lucia Darcey :) it is hard to decide, tbh I had my names before I got pregnant haha!!

Wearenotyourkind · 25/09/2021 11:30

That's a lovely name! 💜

I should have been 10 weeks +5 days when I went to my scan 2 weeks come Monday. I stared bleeding the Thursday before my scan so I knew the MC news was coming. Baby only measured 6w 5d which is the exact day we had a scan and saw a heartbeat 😥 this time no heartbeat.
I've been bleeding for over 2 weeks now. I went for expectant management. I'm petrified. Bleeding has just gotten a little heavier and a little crampy. I'm alone with my 4yo as my OH has left me yesterday. I'm just petrified that I'm going to be in stupendous amounts of pain unable to care for my kid. I have no help or support. How long do I expect this to go on for once the blood starts coming thick and fast? How long will pain last? I lost some mucas, does that mean things are ending?

Wearenotyourkind · 03/10/2021 09:49

I'm so sorry to hear this @Kit645. I would suggest starting a new thread for support and advice ❤️

Wearenotyourkind · 14/10/2021 07:53

@Tbug how are you doing? I'm booked in for induction tomorrow due to concerns that baby's growth has tailed off. Been having lots of extra CTG monitoring and scans over the past 2 weeks. Saw the consultant again yesterday and he feels the baby needs to come out now! I won't lie, I am terrified!!

Just saw you posted on another thread and it reminded me to update you. Was that link you just posted (for the person saying they felt clueless about birth) because that's your local website?? Interested to know!

OP posts:
Tbug · 14/10/2021 08:01

Hey @Wearenotyourkind! I'm good thank you 😊 bit fed up now, really wanna meet her! Aww bless you, try not to be terrified, remember you're in the best hands and you get to meet babe 😘 keep me updated! Yeah it is lol 😆 have you done NCT or anything?

Wearenotyourkind · 14/10/2021 08:03
