Hey. I am currently going through a miscarriage (8 weeks) with my first pregnancy and finding it a pretty lonely process. So I just wondered if anyone else in the same position wanted to join a thread for support etc. I know there are lots of other threads, but it's a bit overwhelming and don't want to just jump on an existing thread 💗

Lovely to hear from you @Tbug, although sorry to hear you're still in the same position as me. Funnily enough though, we have the same due date of next Sunday. I really hoped I'd be pregnant again by now too. We are at month 16, I think now. Are you having any tests etc yet? I've had some bloods and an ultrasound and on the waiting list for consultant. Still having acupuncture and counselling too. I've also now lost over 2 stone. Will you be working too? If I remember correctly, you're a nurse? Sending love to you 💕

Our babies were so loved @Poppypip, you are right. We have a memorial rose bush and I have a special candle, so will spend a few minutes to mark the occasion. I'm still having the counselling too and that has really helped in the run up to the date. How have you been feeling physically with this pregnancy, any sickness? I hope you are taking good care of yourself and so pleased to hear counselling is also helpful for you. Sending love 💗

So sorry to hear about your loss @YoungScrappyHungry. And no, you're absolutely not being unreasonable at all. Please put yourself first and take all the time you need. This is such a difficult time. We can all relate to the heartbreak, so please know you're not alone 💖

@Wearenotyourkind Omg how crazy! No, no tests because I ovulate regularly and my Dr said because I got pregnant before he has no concerns 🙄 well done on the weight loss that's amazing!! Yeah I am working lots atm! Hoping 2021 will bring pregnancy!!! 🤩

@Tbug and @Wearenotyourkind I'm so happy for you both 🤗 How were your first trimesters this time around? My second pregnancy was due October 21st, I think it will be a lovely time to have a baby.

I'm 33 weeks... still can't quite believe that there's going to be an actual baby. Feeling very unprepared because we only started believing that it may work out this time at 22 weeks and we're still a bit hesitant to buy things.

This has made my week! So pleased to hear things are progressing well for you @Poppypip how's your anxiety been? I was v glad for the first trimester to be over! The 12 weeks scan felt like such a milestone. Much less nausea now too @Tbug. Have you got your 16 week midwife visit next week?

Yay!! @Poppypip so exciting, do you know what you're having? Oh god I'm the opposite, I have my pram and met my mum yesterday and bought so much clothes 🙈🙈

Yeah on Tuesday my appointment, my best friend is my midwife which is soooo lovely!! Whens yours?

Mine is next Tuesday too! How amazing to have your best friend as your midwife! We've bought nothing and are completely clueless 😂

How was your midwife visit @Tbug? The countdown is now on til our 20 week scans! When's yours? Mine is 7th June.
