patience that's terrible treatment of you in your hour of need, but don't get me started on NHS I think it's disgusting how women are just left like that to suffer. Do you have health insurance? I was like you scared I wouldn't last till the op and be forced to do it naturally again, and then worried the effect of that would have on my mental health.
Try this number I got through on it ok: Cheryl, Mr Shehata secretary 01372 232243, good luck! His clinic is at 110 Harley St on Mondays. I don't know of any up your way who would do same nk treatment except the Coventry clinic.
Good luck for Friday I hope you make it

Just what exactly is the TEG test? And does it take long for gp to contact local consultant with Coventry letter? Bit worried about the time it might take as NHS referral appointment took 3months! Guess can always go back to Coventry for any drugs?

Minnie good luck for tomorrow!

kbbeanie welcome and so sorry to hear of your losses. Just shows it can happen young or old unfortunately and I understand how you feel about Ttc again and the effect MC has on your son too. It's so damn hard and a big deal. You'll find lots of support and advice on here they're a fab bunch of women. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Sebs that's fab news!!! Congratulations to you!! Well done for looking.

barkingtreefrog · 05/08/2015 14:10

patience I can't believe how you were treated at the scan, that's appalling and you should definitely complain Thanks. I'm very Angry on your behalf.
I also have a huge apology to make, I was mortified when I realised later that copying and pasting the last stats list from the previous thread was insensitive given some people's situations have changed, I am so very sorry Sad.

Patience/Morgan if it's the nk cells biopsy you're interested in you can have that done in Sheffield at Thornbury - details are in the spreadsheet linked to at the top of the thread. Closer than Coventry if it's just the results you're interested in rather than ongoing care.

Great scan news Sebs, just waiting for the other two so we get the hat trick Grin.

Emerald, this is the TEG test en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thromboelastography. I imagine the GP/consultant communication depends on them, best to have both their secretary's direct emails and numbers in case you have to chase.

fififolle · 05/08/2015 14:21

Fab news sebs Smile
I'm just on the way home from my 12 week scan and all looks good. Thank you so much for all of the good vibes, I was so nervous. I just about kept it together when I was sent to wait in the EPU area. We have a bouncy baby who was doing back flips and now has an EDD of 16.2.16. Nuchal fold measurement was 1.3 and I've had the blood tests. Lots of happy tears this time.

bakingtins · 05/08/2015 14:22

Fab news sebs Grin

I had TORCH test after MC 2 as wet-behind-the-ears doctor decided since I was a vet I was bound to have an infection that caused my miscarriages Hmm It's vaguely useful to know if you are immune to infections that can be a problem in pregnancy (and bugger me after more than 20 yrs of training and working with sick cats I have still not had toxoplasmosis!)

mrsb0710 · 05/08/2015 14:30

So its a long shot that an infection caused mmc? Not that I mind having bloods done if needed but just wondering what exactly it will do for future management.

Game plan for GP appt it to stress how much emotional distress I'm under and ask for routine bloods for RMC. Hopefully it'll happen.

So happy for good scan news from you ladies!

BumbleBee0 · 05/08/2015 14:35

Welcome beanie, hope you'll find lots of support and advice here.

claire my gp wouldn't prescribe coventry meds at first as he didnt have expertise in the area so he referred me to a consultant who immediately said they were fine (and non-risky meds) and wrote a letter to my gp saying so.

Great news sebs Smile

Emerald72 · 05/08/2015 14:42

Fifi fab news!! Only Flen to go then.

Baking what's the torch test?

Just thanks for the link will have a read.

Anyone out there had a saline scan? Is it uncomfortable? And have I already asked that?!

Kazz2112 · 05/08/2015 14:46

Fan news Sebs and Fifi. you ladies give me hope that maybe, just maybe this pregnancy will work out. I'm only 4+3 so still so so early and I'm terrified. My boobs aren't hurting as much as yesterday and DH just made a comment that I'm being moody and if he didn't know better would've said I was about to come on. Don't think he realised how that would come across and how much it would upset me!

BumbleBee0 · 05/08/2015 14:52

Great news too Fifi! Smile

Brummiegirl15 · 05/08/2015 15:31

Yay Fifi and Sebs fab news!!!!!

Right I'm all admined up on the fb group. Thanks so much for add Sasha

March and Just would you like me to add you ladies?

Anyone else, just send me your name and profile pic description and we can look for you and add. Will add you as friend - but feel free to delete if you want.

Flen · 05/08/2015 15:41

fifi that's such great news!

All good with ours too, heartbeat seen and measuring 9+1. Got told off for the consultant for being too anxious, have just ranted to OH for almost an hour about how on earth I'm meant to be anything but.., but mainly feeling relief!

cloudjumper · 05/08/2015 15:42

brummie have pm'ed you

Marchgirl · 05/08/2015 15:45

Gosh, it's busy on here today!
Great scan news sebs and fifi, I'm so delighted for you both. What a milestone to reach. Star

Welcome beanie, sorry to hear your story. I hope you find lots of support here

I would definitely wave pompoms for coventry too. I don't think I'd be where i am without them. Although it's a good idea to go down the nhs route as well for the standard testing (clotting etc), as they don't do those tests.

patience, I'm appalled to hear about your treatment. Incredibly insensitive and a potential 3 week wait? Unbelievable. If you find the strength when you are feeling better then i would definitely make a complaint (or several)

Marchgirl · 05/08/2015 15:49

Great news flen! So relieved for you. A hat trick! Just hope we can achieve the same tomorrow minnie and monten.
I'm really nervous about this one as it's right in my danger zone. Lots of cramping today. Hope I've not overdone it.

clairemorgan81 · 05/08/2015 15:56

I can't seem to join fb page, any ideas why? Just says error loading when I click on join group x

Minnie74 · 05/08/2015 16:09

So happy for all the good scan news! What a relief flen sebs fifi

patience sorry I missed your post earlier. The treatment you had was disgusting, I'm so angry for you. And definitely when you feel better it would be worth complaining. People like that shouldn't be able to get away with.

beanie welcome and so sorry for your losses. I hope you find lots of support here.

I can't remember who was asking about Coventry but I'm another recommender. Even though they didn't find anything, I'm pretty sure the scratch helped me get pg quicker this time.

march looks like it's the three m's up for scans tomorrow! What time is yours? Mine's 1.30 so a bit of time to kill with some shopping in the morning! I've had a bit of weird cramping today too. I'm hoping it just nerves!

Sorry if I've missed anyone xx

clairemorgan81 · 05/08/2015 16:17

thanks for a the conventry info, would you go before having my first gynae app in Sept? ice been referred as I have brown spotting monthly for about a week before af. im Just worried if gynae want to run any tests I might not be able.to ttc before them therefore I would waste the few months after the scrape possibly?x

sebsmummy1 · 05/08/2015 16:35

Aaah how wonderful Fifi and Flen Grin. Massive good luck to the Three Musketeers tomorrow Wink

Brummie I'll PM you and it would be great to have you as a friend too xx

OneDayMaybe1 · 05/08/2015 16:44

Thrilled about all the good news. Well done, sebs, flen and fifi! And lots of luck to all who have scans tomorrow.

bythesea82 · 05/08/2015 17:03

Woohoo, great scan news today Grin
Good luck everyone for tomorrow Flowers

BumbleBee0 · 05/08/2015 17:40

Wonderful scan news flen, and everyone else today. Grin

I would definitely recommend coventry too btw! You need to be 2 cycles post last mc before it can be done and you go around 7-10dpo.

mrsdiddlydoo · 05/08/2015 17:41

Hooray flen and fifi! Looking forward to more good news tomorrow

mrsdiddlydoo · 05/08/2015 17:45

Claire I'm not sure how the Coventry protocol would go with the response trial if you intend to go with that when you get a bfp. Might be worth hanging on to see the gynae first but I've no experience at what they might offer you in that appointment. Visiting Coventry to rule out uNK cells is worthwhile if you haven't had them checked.

clairemorgan81 · 05/08/2015 17:54

Mrsdiddly I'm only on response trial until October and I'm pretty sure I'm out this month which probably only leaves Sept cycle. bro just isn't happening Sad. I will maybe wait until gynaecology appointment just to see what they want to do first.x
