March I know what you mean. we've always been to a certain restaurant just before a mc. We won't be going back there during a pregnancy until we have a little DC in our arms

Just marking place too, but need to go back and read over last 2 days as have had sickness bug, again, 6th time in a year...

Me - fat, forty and fucked off! Oh yes, dh is old too, but not fat. 3mc in last year. Have ds, 2, he is perfect - he is the Messiah.
Rmc is a ripped bag of crap...

Marchgirl · 19/07/2015 19:19

Gosh freckle, you are having a shit time with the sickness bugs (among other things). How you're feeling better soon x

IFinishedTheBiscuits · 19/07/2015 19:52

Thanks for new thread and stats.

Me: 37, DH: 48, DS1, DS2
MC1, Nov 12, approx 7 weeks
MC2, Aug 13, approx 9 weeks
MC3, Nov 13, approx 5 weeks
Attended RMC, Prothrombin G20210A mutation identified. Prescribed progesterone and Dalteparin from next BFP (although consultant was not convinced about link between my clotting disorder and m/c).
MC4, Aug 14, approx 10 weeks. (I've never been told the age that they died?)
Attended Coventry in March 2015, results show NK cells normal.

Minnie74 · 19/07/2015 20:29

Thanks for the new thread and stats kazz and march

Quick stats me 40 Dh 42 one ds born 2011. MC 1 at 5/6 weeks in 2010, MC 2 Aug 2014 5/6 weeks both natural, MC 3 Mar 2015 at 12 weeks baby measured 10+5 med man- appeared abnormal but couldn't culture cells so no official chromosome problem.
Been to Coventry, had all rmc tests and everything normal. Currently 4+1 pg and totally in denial. On 200mg prog x2 a day. No heparin as Cov didn't want to prescribe it- bit bothered by that but trying not to be. First scan not till 6+6 as going on hols on Thursday, right across my danger zone so expecting the worst but hoping prog will hold it off if the worst was to happen.

flen sorry you're being bothered by bloody spotting again. As others have said brown is usually old and therefore ok.

freckle poor you lovely lady. You're having a crap time with sickness! I blame it on school! Hope you can start to chill out and feel better once you break up x

march so easy to be suspicious about things. A bloody single magpie seems to have taken up residence in the garden across the street obviously means this pg is doomed from the start

emerald glad you enjoyed the spa (I could live in one!) but sorry you feel down today. Big hugs x

thorn sorry your changing symptoms are worrying you. I'm worried that I have zero symptoms at all, like last MC. Is 4 weeks too early? Does prog mask symptoms?

Brummiegirl15 · 19/07/2015 20:33

Ooh shiny new thread thanks Kazz

My stats

Me 38, DP 46, TTC#1
3 mc's
May 14 @ 5 weeks
August 14 @ 9 weeks
January 15 @ 9 weeks

Then had forced 4 month wait and had all tests, completely clear, went to Coventry and was negative for high uNK cells, also had scratch. Then had hystereoscopy which was all clear and then had another scratch as was suffering from quite a thin lining.

Am now 11+4 on 4th pregnancy and 12 week scan is tomorrow!!! Had 2 scans so far with a happy spud but never got this far before and it's frightening.

Am on the Coventry protocol of 400mg progesterone twice daily plus clexane injections daily for rest of pregnancy AND a sex ban until at least post 20 weeks scan.

Also waiting for a cervix scan on 3rd August as potentially may need a stitch due to 2 x lletz procedures.

Still can't believe how incredible these ladies are and this thread is.

Really looking forward to seeing Just (and Scott!), Sun Onestep and Thorne next Saturday Grin

AllThereIs · 19/07/2015 20:35

New thread mark..for peering purposes checking on you all

mrsdiddlydoo · 19/07/2015 21:22

Thanks for the new thread kazz

See we've quite a few scans coming up this week. Good luck ladies. And hope the spotting does one soon flen. Sounds like old blood.

My stats

34, dh 33, DS 2.5, 2mc in 2014 between 10 and 11+5 weeks. Went to Coventry and following their protocol for normal Unk cells I'm currently 18+3 weeks up the duff. In the last few days I have started to feel the occasional movement which is reassuring beyond belief. Counting days (and nights) until my next scan on 30th.

bootles · 19/07/2015 21:57

Huge hand hold for tomorrow brummie, its nerve wracking but not long to go...xx

Sorry to all with symptom concerns - afraid I am the same having felt OK this evening.

freckle that's way too much in the way of sickness bugs, what a nightmare! Really hope you are better soon x

OneStep2015 · 19/07/2015 22:10

Thanks for the new thread. Will catch up tomorrow exhausted after Auntie and Uncle babysitting duty for twin niece and nephew, don't know how m sister does it!!

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 19/07/2015 22:13

Hey all, tried to catch up with the thread but brain can't remmeber much other than cloud having a good scan, well done.

Brummie I hope all is well tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

No bleeding as yet, but still crampy and no line at all on the frer this morning so I presume it can't be long before my body realised that it's game over.

Have an appointment scheduled already with Mr Watts on 3/8 but not sure if he will have any other suggestions.

As a recap 2010 ds1 and 2012 ds2, then MC sept 2013, think poss 6 -7 weeks but not sure as AF hadn't returned from breastfeeding and was unplanned so no idea when I ovulated. Resumed ttc jan 2014 but MC2 was MMC March 2014 at 6+4. Break from ttc due to selling house/moving. MC 3 Jan 2015 at approx 5 1/2 weeks. MC 4 March 2015 5 weeks.

MC 5 June 15 chemical pregnancy as lost within a few days of BFP

Now technically 4+2 but I know MC 6 is pending as had BFP from last Monday through to Friday but line went v faint yesterday and gone today.

I am 38, DH 37, both non smokers. 8 bfps, all conceived first month of trying but only 2 boys to show for it. All RMC tests came back normal except for testing positive for lupus anti coagulant. MC 4 was on progesterone and aspirin. Mc5 was on progesterone. Mc6 was on progesterone and clexane. March 15 had hysteroscopy, and number of adhesioms removed but no other issues detected. Feel broken. And fat. And old. And wishing I had met Dh when we were younger.

Frecklefire · 19/07/2015 22:31

Loopy** i hear ya! Oh how i hear you... I am sooo sorry love. You've been through so much! Hold those boys tight tonight. Sending you a massive massive hug xxxxxxxxxxxx

Frecklefire · 19/07/2015 22:36

Broken and fat...it goes really well to the theme tune for 'blankety blank' Loopy* it could be our theme music (strange and dark - that's where my head is going!)

Catlover2014 · 19/07/2015 22:58

Good luck for scan Brummie, got everything crossed for you.

Just for stats I was TTC #1 for six years. Had unexplained infertility followed by two mcs at 10 weeks and one suspected at around 5 weeks. Now proud and lucky mum to a five week old baby boy.

Try to keep up with feed but not great at it. Mainly want to say never give up, if I can get there anyone can Flowers xxx

inamaymaybewrong · 19/07/2015 23:41

Sasha the Clomid is prescribed by my GP so I don't know how it's affecting my lining as I don't have monitoring scans, only day 21 blood tests. It's my second month of Clomid for TTC#2. I had 4 months of it pre-DS / pre-IVF too and all were ovulatory cycles but I didn't conceive on any. Those times the Clomid was prescribed by my NHS gynae but I still only had bloods to monitor and no scans.
Acupuncture can help mitigate the lining issues with Clomid if done alongside it.
My most recent MC was my first ever natural pregnancy and that was conceived on a Clomid-free cycle directly after a Clomid cycle, which I've heard can happen. I take 50mg from days 2-6.

sebsmummy1 · 20/07/2015 06:48

Thinking of you today Brummie xxx

girliesaints · 20/07/2015 06:58

Will add my stats later but wanted to say good luck Brummie for today. Few of us will be hiding out breath for you today x

girliesaints · 20/07/2015 06:58

*holding breath- duh!

MrsConfusion · 20/07/2015 07:17

brummie sending lots of love and luck and thoughts up to Worcester - we're all there with you.

Brummiegirl15 · 20/07/2015 07:38

Thanks all. I am so nervous. Equally about the nuchal testing as I am about the actual scan. Midwife really
freaked me out the other day.

Loopy and Freckle big hugs to you both, I know exactly how you feel. I sobbed down the phone to my Mum after the mw episode that I was too old to be doing this and that I was massively at risk, and did my age contribute to my mc's? They found no explaination for them so I can't help thinking that.

Doesn't help also that DP is 46 so his age isn't helping either.

It's mainly these reasons (and the mc's) that if this little one is perfect that will be it for us. I can't face going through all this again.

But I also wish I'd met DP earlier - but as he refuses to get upset about ages. Says they are the one thing we can't change and no point beating ourselves up. We need to focus on the things we can change.

But big hugs to you ladies xx

Minnie74 · 20/07/2015 07:39

Good luck today brummie x

Sunandrainbow · 20/07/2015 08:01

Thx for new thread! Stats;
Me 38, dh 37
Ttc #1 since jan 14. 4 mcs:
Apr 14 (11 weeks, fetus 7), July 14 (8 weeks), jan 15 (8 weeks - trismoy 22), apr 15 (5 weeks).
Currently 15 weeks pg after taking pred, progesterone and aspirin for this one. Still worry every day that it will go wrong.

Good luck today brummie - everything crossed for you!!! And ignore mw - plenty of people have babies at 38! x

sebsmummy1 · 20/07/2015 08:02

Brummie even if you want to attribute age to your other three losses it makes it even more likely that statistically you have a good egg now and everything will be perfect Grin

Will be on tenterhooks until you update xxx

sebsmummy1 · 20/07/2015 08:03

Big hugs Sun. The worrying never stops does it Sad

Kazz2112 · 20/07/2015 08:04

Good luck Brummie for today! Sending positive vibes!
