Flen crossed posts, hope tomorrow's scan is good news, and it's one of those bleeding for no reason scenarios.

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 15:33

Hi ladies, just back from the hospital. Saw heartbeat which was amazing Smile although measurements are about half a week behind what I think my dates are. Have decided I won't freak out about that. So, officially knocked up now! Thanks to everyone for your support recently, was genuinely lovely to come home today to all your good luck messages. Spotting pretty much stopped apart from a tiny bit today. Hoping that it stays away from now on.

bootles fab news for your scan too - so pleased for you!

flen and march hope your spotting has settled now, have everything crossed for you. Good luck with scan tomorrow flen

Marchgirl · 14/07/2015 15:37

Great news thorn! Gives flen and I hope as well

barkingtreefrog · 14/07/2015 15:48

Flen & March still got everything crossed tightly for you both Thanks.

Bythesea Good news, sort of, on my Dad. The physio is pleased with his progress and thinks he can do more, so they will keep him at least another week and then they'll have another meeting to plan his move home.
And you're absolutely right about Dh going away, when he's actually gone and I'm keeping busy I will be fine apart from some elements of the ivf stuff I guess which will be harder it's the thought of him leaving!! and me having to pick up all the dog walking

bootles!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Amazing news!!!! I could hug that doctor for you as well!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin

cloud glad you've booked yourself a bridging scan, it's a long time to wait until 20 weeks.

loopy I was on 200mg post iui and 400mg post ivf. Not sure if that's any use to you!

Thorn excellent news!!! Grin Grin I do love a good scan day on this thread Grin GrinGrin Grin Grin.

OneStep2015 · 14/07/2015 16:12

Thorn really pleased for you, great scan news!! Grin

Brummie yes 1pm is fine with me thanks!

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 16:30

Thanks ladies. Meant to say also, Brummie 1pm works for me too.

mrsdiddlydoo · 14/07/2015 16:52

thorn hooray for a heartbeat. I don't think half a week behind is worth worrying about when they are so small. Are you booked in for another scan in a few weeks or something?

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 17:06

Sonographer didn't seem too concerned, mrsd, just said to book in for 12 weeks. We will go for a private scan in between around 9 weeks all being well I think.

Genwah85 · 14/07/2015 17:09

Thorn I'm newish to this thread been reading and I'm part of the response trial thread how far gone are you? I'm only asking as I have my first scan on thursday at 6 weeks and I'm just wondering what I may or may not see hope you don't mind me asking xx

Frecklefire · 14/07/2015 17:18

I am officially a twat. I caved and tesyed with my one clear blue digi (brain obsessed today, 12 days since ov) and i forgot it needs to be first morning urine until af is due. I got not preg Sad do you think there is any chance it is a false neg? SadHmm

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 17:24

Hi Gen and welcome. I think I'm 6 weeks exactly today. Measuring a little behind but still saw gestational sac, fetal pole and tiny fluttering heartbeat. Good luck for your scan, hope all is well for you.

freckle I'm pretty sure the clearblue digis are not terribly sensitive. Maybe try a frer with fmu tomorrow if you have one? Fingers crossed for you!

Frecklefire · 14/07/2015 17:28

Sorry to be a ninny, but what is a frer?

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 17:38

Sorry! First response early result - got my BFP this time on one of these at 10dpo

BumbleBee0 · 14/07/2015 17:46

Lovely news thorn Grin! Could they see anything to explain the bleeding? I was 2 days behind on my scan and it wasn't even mentioned. It sounds very common for dates to vary so early on so I wouldn't be concerned at all. If the baby is slightly angled or curled up more it would make a difference so it's unlikely all babies will always measure up to the 'right' dates.

freckle I would get a frer, you could get a twin pack and do one tonight and tomorrow with fmu. I think they're maybe 6mlU sensitivity (cb 25mlU?) so it may pick it up tonight but defo would tomorrow I would think. Good luck! Got my fingers crossed for you.

brummie - 1pm works for me thx!

bootles - wonderful news on 12 week scan and harmony and horray for another team blue!!

thorn - that's great news. I wouldn't worry too much about being a few days behind. With my 7 week scan with this one, I measured a week behind but at every subsequent scan it had grown more than expected and by 13 weeks it was bang on dates.

flen and march - hand holding lovelies.

xxxx

Thornfield38 · 14/07/2015 18:00

Thanks Sun, that is reassuring to hear. bumble no reason given for the spotting. Should have thought to ask but was so relieved that there was actually something there and in the right place that it totally went out of my head!

Frecklefire · 14/07/2015 18:08

Thanks Thorn** and congrats on your good scan results (phew!!!)

Brummiegirl15 · 14/07/2015 18:09

Great news Thorne

Freckle defo get a frer - I had 2 x cb digi negatives even with fmu and look how that ended up!

Will book our lunch!!!!

Brummiegirl15 · 14/07/2015 18:11

Oh and forgot to say I'm twinging and crampy like mad today.

Really quite freaked out by it. I am so close to 12 weeks and I feel so vulnerable. I actually feel sick with fear

And I'm sick of people dismissing my fears saying "you'll be ok"

You don't know that!!!! After 3 times, how can you know that????

Marchgirl · 14/07/2015 18:13

Woohoo for team blue bootles!

So glad they are trying to do a bit more for your dad barking. You are such a strong person to be going through what you are all at the same time. We are all here for you to lean on whenever you need to x

freckle, i definitely wouldn't consider that conclusive. I've just bought a cb digi to do tomorrow and read that they are indeed only 25 sensitivity. frer doesn't say on the instructions, but i believe from previous reading that they are 10 or less (possibly 6 as bumble says). I gather superdrug ones are also v sensitive (though I've never tried them) Good luck for the retest.

Sunandrainbow · 14/07/2015 18:17

brummie - I was exactly the same around 12 weeks. One of the days the twinges seemed to be every few minutes and I posted on here in a right panic. It has eased up now though and is more of an occasional twinge. Hand holding through the next few days till your scan. xxx

Frecklefire · 14/07/2015 18:28

Grrr...i know this is well trodden ground, we might as well have it tatood on the inside of our eyelids...but i just need to get this out of me I JUST WANT TO BE FUCKIBG PREGNANT AND TO BE NORMAL AND FOR IT TO WORK OUT! I want a second chance to do it right! I want to defy the odds! I'm taking 8 sups a day now, 2 eggs, i tested for ov, took cough mixture, bonked within the smiley, used a friggin' mooncup. Other than painting myself blue and dancing infront of a fucking fertility statue I can't do any more! I just feel so frustrated! This was my fourth month of trying (which is NOTHING when i think of you Barking**, but its not how my body usually works, and i'm afraid i'm now too old, too fat, shops shut! I just hate the whole headfuck of it all! Arrrrrrghhh grrrrrrrr! (Flops and weeps in toddler style FRUSTRATION.)

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 14/07/2015 18:32

Thorn good news re the scan, hope you sail through the next few weeks.

Freckle clearblue in my opinion are a waste of money, they are terrible at early testing and despite what they claim I never got a BFP before AF due, but at 20 dpo. Frer does what they say. Downside is frer also show chemical pregnancies, that clearblue protects you from knowing about.

Teach3 · 14/07/2015 20:08

Great news on the scans today :-)

Brummiegirl15 · 14/07/2015 20:11

So glad you got sorted Loopy knew Julie would know what to do.

She's friends with my sis on fb so when sis puts something and Julie likes or comments, that's really weird!!!!!

Freckle it's fucking shit I agree. And I know that frustration I really did. I guess all you can do is believe next time it will work. And no, the shop is most definitely not shut!! It's just restocking xx
