Sorry for the lack of symptoms and BFPs today. And also progesterone come down. ...

Sebs, glad they arrived and brilliant news about your consultant. A really positive start!

Brummie, and anyone else feeling the scanxiety, there will come a time when the impossible will happen, and you will leave the scan room in wonderment clutching your scan photos. It happens, honestly! Big hugs in the meantime x

Justonemoretime · 11/06/2015 12:50

PS, I got stoke Mandeville to prescribe the fragmin. I know you hate the place, but I think they're getting better and they should prescribe it if you show your Coventry letter. I was under miss Ashworth, who seemed open to it.

OneStep2015 · 11/06/2015 12:53

Justonemoretime Yes I found this, thanks to you! In fact I have a lot to thank you for!!!

How are you??? and baby???? xx

sebsmummy1 · 11/06/2015 13:09

Yes to scanxiety. I think they are going to scan me in two weeks time to make sure it's in the right place. Right now though I have HCG anxiety as if my levels are rising correctly it's game over before I've even begun!! I'm back there Monday.

sebsmummy1 · 11/06/2015 13:10

*aren't

sebsmummy1 · 11/06/2015 13:22

I forgot to add I've been prescribed dispersible junior aspirin but obviously now I'm not sure if I should take it. I'm only 4+3, do you think it's best I don't take it?

Brummiegirl15 · 11/06/2015 13:33

Ahhh Onestep another Bucks girl like Just

My family are from / and still live in Princes Risborough.

I miss living down that way!!! I went to school in Aylesbury.

Worcestershire is beautiful but Bucks will always be home

bootles, littlebear and cat great news on scans. cat hope your OH's op went ok.
one step welcome, hope you find some helpful information here.
brummie and sun good luck tomorrow.
jady good luck later
march sorry for BFN
sebs hope appointment was ok
barking hope your dad is making small improvements
Away from tomorrow for the weekend, I am guessing a 7 page catch up on my return Wink

cloudjumper · 11/06/2015 13:48

sebs Glad to hear that your consultant exceeded your expectations and is more proactive! It makes such a difference.
FYI, I've been advised to take junior aspirin from BFP, but I know that there is a lot of controversy/discussion around this. I have been advised so by my haematologist, but it's more to do with my DVT history that the rmc, so not sure how/if it applies otherwise.

Sorry about your BFN, march - is there any chance you've tested too early?

People on heparin - I'm after some advice! I forgot to do my injection last night, and I'm now wondering what's the best thing to do in this situation. The leaflet in the box says not to take a double dose if you miss one, and now that I'm at work, I can't do anything about it anyway. But no one has ever talked to me about this, so I was wondering if any of you have had advice from your consultants what to do if you miss a dose?
In theory, it should be fine to take 2 doses in one day - in fact, this is what I will have to do later in pregnancy to maintain the heparin levels in my system, but what in general? I'd be grateful for any advice because I think that this might happen again at some point

OneStep2015 · 11/06/2015 14:08

Yes Brummie, live by The Watermead Lake, Aylesbury! Originally from St Albans area… x

Marchgirl · 11/06/2015 14:46

sebs, I'm so happy you got your prog and fragmin that's fantastic! What a relief. Now you will be on the standard cov protocol for normal nk which is great.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It absolutely is too early to test cloud! But these days I find that I go less on the tests and more on my symptoms (if that makes any sense at all), as I'm more in tune than I used to be. The test just agreed with what I think I probably already know. Anyway. After brummie's surprise late bfp i perhaps shouldn't give up yet although she had massively strong symptoms from like 4dpo or something. Tomorrow is another day and another wee Grin Hmm

Oh today just gets bloody better! Stranded waiting for roadside rescue as car has broken down, on my one afternoon off and hottest day of the year so far! My fucking life!!!Angry

Frecklefire · 11/06/2015 15:31

Can i ask - is it flen that works within child development??? Looking for some advice...

Jady77 · 11/06/2015 15:36

Fingers crossed its another late positive March!

Great news Sebs, here's to an uneventful 9 months. I'm going to be taking baby aspirin from when I stop the heparin at 13 weeks. Although also going to run that by consultant.

Have a lovely relaxing holiday Bythesea

Cloud I'll try and remember to ask consultant shortly about if you forget the heparin as I'm likely to do that.

They're running an hour late so gonna be here a while! Lucky Costa. Sorry about the clammy hands all x

Sunandrainbow · 11/06/2015 15:47

Grrrrr jady - that's all you need an hour's delay! Keeping everything crossed for you lovely.

march - am also keeping my fingers crossed that it's just too early. For what it's worth, I didnt have many / any symptoms until about 7 weeks and even then they have been pretty come and go and not bad at all.

x

Jady77 · 11/06/2015 15:50

Oh I meant to say due date is the 9th too. Please still be in there little one.

X

Marchgirl · 11/06/2015 16:00

Just a quick update, all is fine! Worried the consultant when I told her nausea had stopped at 8 weeks. So she did scan straight away and could see babamoo wriggling around. So relieved. Thank you all so much, I truly believe I wouldn't be here now if it weren't for all of you sharing your experiences and knowledge. Measured pretty exact at 9+6 (9+5 by lmp).

Sasha glad you had a good consult. I'm just wondering if it would be worth a second opinion before paying out so much money. Maybe asking Prof Quenby just for telephone consultation for her opinion on how they've tested the effectiveness of the steroids. Just a thought really as it sounds so expensive.

CheesyMash · 11/06/2015 17:46

jady that's great news, so pleased for you!! Grin hope you can relax a little now inbetween the next one. X

OneStep2015 · 11/06/2015 18:07

Hi Jady

Great to hear you have some good news from your scan.

Thinking of you.

Sasha I've asked Professor Quenby quite a few questions via email since my appointment with her, she replies pretty quickly.

Brummiegirl15 · 11/06/2015 18:10

Jady that's ace news!! I'm so pleased!

Sasha so pleased you got your answers but ouch that's expensive

Freckle yes Flen works in child development.

Bythesea have a fab holiday

The scanxiety is ramping up Hmm
