ARrgghhhh!!! I have horrible sore throat and just opened my mouth to reply to DH, and discovered my voice is all but gone!!!

Try ignoring it again, it's a well know fact that sore throats go away if they see they aren't having an impact.

We're going to have to drop out last minute. DD is vomiting and hot and grumpy this morning - her timing is as ever marvellous and she only finished antibiotics for scarlet fever 5 days ago .
It's probably a bit needy but am really disappointed as I really do need to make some local friends and was looking forward to the chance to do that. Hope you all have a great time!

Yes that's exactly what I'd call looking after a 5 month old that still refuses to sleep because he wants to get up for "cuddles", and a 3.5 year old who's having a "phase" at the moment of being a little b**ch to her friends and other dcs that's sapping the life out of me. . My kitchen is a bombsite after each meal after making some sort of hand blended mush for ds and another separate varied nutritious meal for dd that she'll refuse to eat, again.
